/sarcasm - OmegaNine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19I hate to be an ass here but over an hour ago people where saying t he same thing. It was almost your exact comment. How come people think we want to read 100 "this link is dead" comments. If its dead for you, and someone else has already said it, digg up the comment that has already been posted.
- fallenone05, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22yes, you can save money by playing this instead of repurchasing from Nintendo VC
- fallenone05, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Video killed the radio star, the internet killed the video star, the digg effect killed the internet..
- HanSolo69, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16p.s. since when was Pokemon Red Version released 1/1/1970?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Pokemon Yellow Version: http://www.game-oldies.com/game-play-6773.htm I remember this! good times...
The search bar on the side really helps. I found 5 Zelda games and more than a dozen Mario ones. - brian4572, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13I just go back to my Sega Dreamcast
- gfixler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Not to be contrary, or nit-picky, but this isn't even close to every known classic game. I have over 100,000 roms from pretty much all of the classic systems. Still, I digg.
Now back up and give me room, so I can jump off this high horse, and retreat to my nerditorium. - HanSolo69, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8can you save?
- cw1925, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Who needs a Wii now? I've got Java.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6This is Java, not supported by the Wii
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5
These 10,000 games brought to you by Java. Respect it. - Pulp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Any site that can rekindle childhood memories of Blades of Steel earns a digg in my books. Kudos.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4...and for about $0 you can go to this site
- Ignignokt01, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Does it work on the Wii browser? And with the wii controller, sadly probably not.
- DannyX0, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8this one's just a NES site:
http://www.virtualnes.com/
but lots of games :) - Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hmm, combine this with the fact that the Wiimote's keys can be mapped to keyboard keys and we have a very interesting situation developing

lol nice. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Good for you. It's not that hard, so do I.
- naldwell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It would be nice if Nintendo designed something similar to the C64-in-a-joystick for the S/NES platform.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Longest I've ever played NES Puyo
- brian4572, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Great site!!!!!! but no Intellivision!!!
- c0dy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Portability is key here. In fact, I think I'll have a little play with Super Mario Bros 3 here at work once the digg effect has died down, just to revive the old times :)
- snapple, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This site is just amazing! I cannot believe there is a place like this!
- osc1882, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Runs Pretty crappy on my PC.
BTW I have every rom for every classic system. And I do mean every. - ZeroMP, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2They forgot to mark "Bubble Bath Babes" as NSFW!
Sooooooo hot! - PunkRampant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1WOW!!! Hella nice!!
- ChrisRX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Well......that was the first time I've played abadox and no doubt it will be the last. I didn't believe how annoying that game really is.
- Gerz1219, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, it would be cool, but then they'd only be charging you about $30 for the joystick and five games, as opposed to charging you $250 for a Wii, $30 for the classic controller, and $6 each for >1MB ROMs from 20 years ago.
- madhaha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He's talking about using the wiimote on your PC/Mac.
- biohzrd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Care to share how exactly you can do that? Does Opera support java?
- romainemu, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1w00t
Game Oldies is BACK at the following address : http://www.goldiesgames.com
Enjoy (info directly got in my mail from the website author since I was a GO member) - troopa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For $70? What are you talking about?
Rom sites are free. If you're paying for one, you're getting ripped off. - romainemu, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1it's back at http://www.goldiesgames.com
- mrbradg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I just wasted 2 hours at work. Damn you.
Dugg. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It looks like Nintendo raped them, nothing but Indie flash games left now. Shame...
- kiljoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They have Golden Axe. Finally, I can beat up gnomes for bottles of magic at work. Life is good.
- MartyMcFly713, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1so has anyone even tried this on the Wii yet considering java doesn't work on Opera beta? I'm at work or I'd check it out.
- TempusReborn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yo yeah they did work - but after the digg effect too k place first the java applet appeared and wouldn't load and now the link to the games has been removed. My guess they've exceeded there bandwidth and need time to recover! :( And i only got to play fantastic dizzy!
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I must be doing something wrong. I can't seem to play any of these games, all I get is a slideshow.
how do you play the games? - MSTK, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Well, flash can now pick up signals from all of the buttons on the Wiimote. Only, the directional pads and the A button are the only ones that aren't already taken. But if the Wiimote were pointed away from the TV, you could press the B button and nothing would happen, freeing it up to be picked up by the Flash...at the trade-off of losing pointer capabilities.
- javabeta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why don't you just download a emulator and some rom files to play them offline?
- LesKhn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0and when are you posting your site? =D
- eddie72, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Site seems to be taking too much of a beating already
- screwl1fe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0oh wow you pay for roms? great job dumbass
- freemmogamer, on 12/25/2008, -1/+0nice list, you can find more at http://www.freebrowsergamer.com
- eco2you, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Doesn't seem to be working for me either :/ Gutted!
http://www.eco2you.co.uk - KillaDilla, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1404 not found! :( I wanna play streets of rage!
- OmegaX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I assume that..may be a mis-reading of the copyright info (not necessarily on your part, I haven't looked at the site yet, it could be their mis-reading), since iirc, the copyright info has 1970 in it somewhere (again, iirc, as it's been years since I've played /any/ Pokemon, let alone Red version).
- Sleepsure, on 05/26/2008, -1/+0Down for me to, I was looking forward to a 'blast from the past'!
