- kall, on 07/20/2008, -1/+214Damn you Madagascar and your single port!
- brycehebert, on 05/03/2009, -2/+119It's kinda scary how fun this game is...
- Pulp, on 07/20/2008, -1/+115I hope you're being sarcastic. You did notice it was called Pandemic *II*, right?
- Remmiz, on 07/21/2008, -2/+107***** Madagascar.
- chrisj33, on 07/21/2008, -2/+98Madagascar ruins this game.
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -1/+97I named my disease Digg
- thebza451, on 07/21/2008, -0/+78you've been waiting a long time for the day when you could link to that picture in context to the discussion, haven't you?
- h4mx0r, on 07/21/2008, -0/+74http://i36.tinypic.com/204k5g.jpg
- Onji, on 07/21/2008, -1/+74The Tutorial lady's voice is SO god damned annoying. Holy *****.
- RogueJediX, on 07/20/2008, -3/+75I think that if Madagascar is that much inaccessible, you should at the very least get a ton of points if you do infect it.
- dezmo, on 07/21/2008, -2/+66my disease has killed zero people, yet the entire world is shutting down schools and hospitals, over a disease which has the symptoms of sneezing and fever, some countries are burning bodies. which don't exist. i declare this came fail.
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -0/+61When the big pandemic comes, I'm moving to ***** Madagascar.
- magicjames92, on 07/20/2008, -7/+68Great game but some bad problems.
No points for killing people. Only infecting. So if everyone in the area is already infected, no points for you.
Island regions are pretty much impossible to get to. - triont, on 07/21/2008, -4/+63I named my disease /b/.
- madetosink, on 07/21/2008, -3/+60I named mine George W. Bush
- Thrash16, on 07/21/2008, -0/+56Sums up the game nicely
- thallium205, on 07/21/2008, -2/+58Skip all the BS:
http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/jkf6Tr/pandemic2.s ... - HillerMylife, on 07/24/2008, -2/+57This game is a great idea but executed pretty horribly. It counts way too much on random chance. But if some small studio were to take this idea and run with it, make a full-fledged game out of it, it would be tons of fun.
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -3/+50Wow. You definitely didn't steal that from 4chan.
- LSP55, on 07/20/2008, -3/+47KILL THEM ALL!
- kataztrophy, on 07/20/2008, -22/+65Why didn't someone do this earlier? The concept is pure gold.
- dawgma, on 07/21/2008, -0/+43They won't let you. Everything will be shut down by the time you realize there is a pandemic.
- h4mx0r, on 07/21/2008, -4/+47*tinfoil hat*
The government is using this game to track highscores! Those who score the highest in this game are clearly going to be potential bio terror threats, and will be reported to the CDC and Department of Homeland Security!
Don't submit your scores! - farfromsubtl, on 07/21/2008, -1/+43Dude... that was genius.
- hpdarkman525, on 07/21/2008, -2/+44http://i36.tinypic.com/jggqqe.gif
- JudgeMonkey, on 07/21/2008, -2/+43I tried to come up with a comment for this, and I discovered I couldn't. That is simply too awesome for words.
- Jenadae, on 07/21/2008, -0/+40Where the ***** did these come from?
- skootz85, on 07/21/2008, -0/+39Or forget the whole thing and have a BBQ!
- Renster84, on 07/21/2008, -0/+37it has been a while since i actually laughed out loud at something on digg.
Your Sir win an award. - johnroth, on 07/21/2008, -0/+36How sad, one little boat got out of a port just as they all closed down... so now it sails in the ocean all alone with no place to dock...
- CrushThemTorg, on 07/20/2008, -2/+37The Doody Virus and its later evolution, the E. Poopypants bacteria didn't doo too well.
- dsmx, on 07/21/2008, -3/+37Unless you start on Madagascar you won't win, keep restarting till you do. Get rid of all symptoms and keep buying the resistances, once your disease has spread to another area get the rodent spread thing. That should help you get going.
- FatBird19, on 07/21/2008, -2/+35Commas for the numbers would be nice.
- LeviTheSmith, on 07/20/2008, -3/+32Killer App
- mepawl, on 07/20/2008, -4/+33I can never infect Australia >:(
- Onji, on 07/21/2008, -0/+28***** Batman. You're my new hero.
- ap44, on 07/21/2008, -1/+29It's also how a real outbreak would work. Once the host dies, the disease dies...so why would you get points?
- ezalis, on 07/21/2008, -0/+27Just make it airborne and give it the sneezing symptom. Even Madagascar isn't safe. Then mutate it and kill them all.
- jmcneilly, on 07/21/2008, -1/+28See, this is why terrorists would never use biological weapons.
Even if they did find some super virus or M31 Syndrome, Madagascar and New Zealand would survive. That way, all future generations would derive from them. Think about that: every movie would be by Peter Jackson, sheep farming (and associated Saturday night "wool gathering") would be the primary occupation of most of the earth, and every restaurant would be Madagascarese, filled with whatever they make in Madagascar. Mmm... madagascar kaboby goodness... - Genrre, on 07/20/2008, -3/+30I can never seem to get it to the island regions like Cube, Japan, and Greenland.
- PhoenixReborn, on 07/21/2008, -0/+26I don't get how governments can flip out over a disease that has no symptoms. I mean, Christ, do you know how many strains of bacteria live inside us and the government is doing nothing? *****, my disease wasn't even as bad as the common cold and everyone goes into lockdown?
- adragons, on 07/21/2008, -4/+30You can't call it a problem... that's like saying checkers is problematic because you can only move diagonally....
- Dobiewonkenobi, on 07/21/2008, -0/+25I named mine The Digg effect
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -3/+27In the world news section I was just informed that Canada is completely devoid of life.
Sweet. - Kanten, on 07/21/2008, -1/+25Madagascar = BROKEN GAME MECHANIC
- Akaricloud, on 07/21/2008, -0/+24Over half my world is now infected with Cooties. Not long now, muhahaha.
- jstancom, on 07/21/2008, -0/+23I made a low visibility virus with no symptoms, however made it heavily infectious. Then I bought all the tiers of symptoms and clicked on "Heart Failure." The entire world was already infected, and within 5 minutes everyone was dead.
- superoven, on 07/21/2008, -0/+23Is it just me or does Greenland seem clueless? I usually have the entire world closing down everything and Greenlands still like "bring it on".
