Clack - addictive Rube Goldberg-esque web game
fizzlebot.com — "Contrary to its first impression appearance, Clack is a simple game of chain reactions, similar to a domino effect or a rudimentary Rube Goldberg machine made up of only similar parts." Can you trigger all 20? (don't click on anything just let it load for a second)

- Quintus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I saw this game a few days ago in a competition at jayisgames.com
It was the first place winner. Be sure to check out the other games in the competition. - Folye, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Fun, I just beat it.

- noob, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I don't get it. No directions.
- Exhumator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5The games on that site look very interesting, but the lack of directions is driving me crazy!
- parislemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Sorry I know it is tricky with no directions. Here's the deal, basically starting with the dot all the way on the left near the circled 1. You click on them to change the length of the and hit the 'play' button (the triangle next to the square) in orange under the circled 1. You want to start a chain reaction, make the lines long enough so when you hit play they hit one another one and so on...you want to activate 1 through 20 (even though only select numbers are shown at first). hope that helps some.
- gio92, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1helped me
- thayle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Just beat the game and I'm diggin it!
- backrash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1stuck on 14
- theBrink, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it's buggy...after 15 you can manipulate the puzzle to complete (aka it passes all the bubbles) but you get no step notifiers, after I realized this I corrected it and solved it, but it's kinda sad that there are 2 ways to solve this and one isn't recognized...
- windzero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I believe all the game logic is hardcoded which uses the traditional timeline to make the game works. Thats why it can only detect one solution.
- Gdoubleod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got it to recognize two solutions if you look at the three pronged stem by wheel 5... I was able to configure that two separate ways... well at least my solution was different than the one posted and I was able to make all the wheels spin =)
- windzero, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4How can this be addicitve? Only one level and the solution is very strick forward.
- Murdats, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2passed it, is quite fun (also these style puzzle games are more fun without directions, first you got to figure out what the puzzle is then how to solve it (there are tons like these around, most just as directionless)
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Figuring out the solution after 16 sucks. You can hit it, but it still doesn't register if it's not the exact way it wants it to be.
Here's the correct solution for those of you having trouble: http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?image=clacken8.png - calums, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That's pretty cool, but difficult to grasp
- thirteen, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The game doesn't start, it just keeps going to Jay's page. Kinda lame if it doesn't load right.
- bmooney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1give it a few seconds.... or more on a slow connection. it will load!
- bmooney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://jayisgames.com/archives/2006/08/clack.php is a great review of the game, complete with lots of hints and spoilers...
- bigmansteve, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1why would anyone write full reviews for free flash games? takes 5 seconds to load and its not like we are paying for the damn thing.
- DaveyDeadite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2anyone remember game Contraptions? now that was where the money's at.
- a99tandem, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is just awful... id rather be playing golf
- BG06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I guess you'd better tee off then!
Cool game once you've got the hang of it: +digg
- BG06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I guess you'd better tee off then!
- Breachin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If someone found an 'alternate' solution that you think should work but doesn't, post it, cuz i dont believe you.
- Hexagram, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@Breachin
You can stretch out the arms in a certain way to make a much more "direct" path to the endpoint of the puzzle without going through all the neccicary steps.
Now stfu and stop being so doubtful - Breachin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ah, what you mean is that you should be able to skip all the steps? People made it sound like they found a way to hit all of them in order, but it wasnt allowing them to.
Btw people should play the other games in this collection. This wasn't the best game in there, other good ones include Gateway, Thief, Cyberpunk and some others. Clack won because it fit the criteria (no instructions, not a bunch of levels or 'rooms')
