An Online NES Emulator
vnes.thatsanderskid.com — I found this site after some long hard searching, and have talked to the developer some bit, and he is creating a way to play those old NES games anywhere you can get on the 'net! There are currently over 300 games to play from English, to Japanese, to the unlicensed ones.
- 1398 diggs
- digg it
- m0shen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14While I like the vNES layout better, I have to say that http://www.everyvideogame.com/ still takes the cake.
- fletchowns, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Yeah this looks legal...especially since Nintendo is going to be selling them again in a month.
- therernospoons, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9up up down down left right left right B A select start!
- nickerbocker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Classic Zelda = Digg
- ohgr, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Emulation can't beat the real thing though. To me there's nothing like owning the actual game and playing it on the actual system. That's just one man's opinion though ;-)
- TheLlamaIs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Who the hell's been digging ohgr down?
Old school Nintendo, Sega, hell even Atari beats an emulator any day.
It's not like it even costs much any more, you can get any of those system for $20 or less! - ShiverMeBoner, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I don't agree. Gimme an xbox with every single nes, snes, genesis, turbografx, atari game ever made.
Instead of using composite video I'm using component upscaled to my hdtv. I can save the game at any instant I want, I can apply gamegenie/action replay codes, and I can see the box art for every game. I don't have to blow on and insert a cartridge every time I wanna switch games.
So yeah, that's why people are digging oghr down.- isomika69, on 06/16/2008, -0/+0here.

- heysuburbia, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4This is SO old (I'm talking like 2 years old). I've posted this multiple times on Digg, here is a link to ALL NES games online for free:
http://everyvideogame.com/
- TheSalmonThief, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3This is probably one of my favorite things, besides... killing conservatives or something.
- cwcheang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5good old classics... yeah!
i dont need the PS3 anymore. - ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4officially the most duped story in history!
- Tyrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Is the sound supposed to be crackly or not working on all of the games? That's annoying.
- Sazzle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I love this link but playing Super Mario has made me realize just how much of my misspent youth was spent playing Mario... my body remembers that A/B (jump and fire) is on the right and directional control is on the left. Id love to be able to spend more of my misspent adulthood playing these games but I'm afraid my body cant seem to unlearn what it spent many many years perfecting! ;)
- Toy0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well, if you can find a decent emulator Sazzle, there's always this:

- Toy0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well, if you can find a decent emulator Sazzle, there's always this:
- therernospoons, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Think they could have made the font any smaller?
- colinkeigher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And of course, this will be taken offline sooner or later. At least with the Wii, I can relive my childhood. :)

- stevetures, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2FLAWLESS (so far)
good job - allthewhile, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I want an online xbox2 emulator. Now that would be key.
- ohgr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Wait about 10 years
- gusc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0AWESOME!
- thydzik, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1damn, this is so cool!
1942 works like a charm - edillcyde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i miss those games, expecially when you need to blow the game cartridges and then bang on the nes with the controller for it to work... :-s
- TheSmokingManX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is pretty nifty, but just how long can this survive on the net?
- DanAtkinson, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6You found it after long hard searching? What search engine was you using? Crapfind.com?
I only had to type in 'NES online emulator' and it was in my top ten results.
Seriously mate, try Google next time.- mr804, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1yeah. Nothing new about this and they are easy to find.
- Corrosionx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1funny how "I keep all my old toys" can transform into "Playing them on the original machines is teh kickass!!!1!1" for extra geek credits ;-)
- killerworm52, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0LOL YES, Maybe I can play the real mario now instead of the flash versions i've been playing at

- mmm_linux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1this does a better job than my dreamcast does at emulating nes games. yay
- MatttK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1And this is exactly why Virtual Console is overpriced. A few bucks for 1 NES game might not SOUND like a lot but when you can play ALL OF THEM this easily...
- martinoco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1god, I just lost an hour playing classic zelda

They've got the Hilter-Bionic Commando!!!
(hint: It's the one with Hilter in the title under Japanese Language)- sparrow88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Did I say Hilter? I meant Hitler. I don't think I've typed the word Hitler this much before in my life. I hope my office isn't monitering me...
- ollj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Great for taking images in any java browser but unplayable performance and Ear-rape-audio.
- iamrussell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i cant get the controls to work. anyone else?
- techhut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0You might want to check you have the latest Java installed. Restarting your PC might also help.
- HelplessSEAL, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hmm lots of ESA protected software...that can't be good
- Tiphys, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Cool, but what fun is a game like Dragon Warrior when you can't save? Or can you save, and I'm just a loser? Anyone know?
- techhut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I doubt you can save. You might be able to, but I'll talk to teh developer of this.
- Floogy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Dammit! I have work to do and now I'm playing Tecmo Bowl!
- AustinMeoang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Wow, this is pretty cool, especially if you can't find the ROMs for the games, it also looks pretty legal, which is rare for ROMs lol
- user123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1you can check up on some music for the nes http://nesemulation.com
