aussiecynic.com — Ever tried to bath your cat? If you have, you will no doubt nursed your battle scars with bandages and perhaps stitches, but there is a good reason cats hate being bathed: If it made look like this you wouldnt like it either! Try thinking of it from the cats view point.

i never bath mine.. except when my white persian fell in the creek and was coated in brown mud... it stained turn her fur orange for days... so funny... but I required bandages.. lots of them.. - theysayjump, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2We'll wash our Siamese every few months, mainly with the change of season, just to get some of the older fur off from the parts he can't reach. He has allergies too so it helps with that also.
