Just depressing...- puck, on 04/30/2008, -3/+7I find it uplifting. I'm not a baby antelope. To not be prey is a good feeling.
- beargrylls, on 04/30/2008, -2/+11Why's it depressing? Cheetahs have to eat...
- SolipsismX, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1The means in which cheetahs must eat is depressing
- tnoy, on 04/30/2008, -2/+11Depressing? Its nature. Leave your room once in a while.
- SolipsismX, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1Says the guy commenting on digg...
What does nature have to do with it being depressing? Of course I've seen this stuff before, I'm just saying it sucks that this is the way things are.
- SolipsismX, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1Says the guy commenting on digg...
- halfcabbage, on 04/30/2008, -13/+3Is it wrong to want the baby get eaten in the end?
- D0m0kun, on 04/30/2008, -1/+4Probably you have some things you need to work out... But judging by your photo, I'd wager that you getting eaten might be part of the solution.
- halfcabbage, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0I think you're just jealous of my '78 Corona.

- Acronym, on 04/30/2008, -10/+9thats just nature doing its thing, awesome!
- Johnichi, on 04/30/2008, -12/+3Why you so dumb, baby antelope?
- mesasone, on 04/30/2008, -1/+16If you read the (very) short article, you would know that the fawn was run down and drug back by the mother cheetah, and brought back for the two cubs to learn to kill. The article then says the fawn tried to run again but the cubs caught it and eventually killed it.
- Neverclear, on 04/30/2008, -6/+47I'm glad one species is still raising its offspring one notch above useless.
- D0m0kun, on 04/30/2008, -11/+2So what's your use? Last time I checked, it's just trying to survive. As far as I can tell, the goal of life might just be that of life itself.
- anatraj, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1"the goal of life might just be that of life itself"
wtf?? of course the goal of life is the goal of life; it is the goal of life after all...- D0m0kun, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1No, you're missing my point. The goal of exercising is not for exercising itself. It's for being healthier after the fact. There may be no other end purpose to life.
- anatraj, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1"the goal of life might just be that of life itself"

- uziko, on 04/30/2008, -11/+3yessssss i love it, we need more pictures of baby animals being killed on digg, only with blood, lots and lots of glorious blood
- KiraDnote, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1that was such a cheerful article I can't wait for the next one
- Nhmarine, on 04/30/2008, -11/+1Awwwwww.. look at the little baby, so cute.... Awwww... look at all the blood... so cute... It is really ironic that we assign cuteness (if you want to debate me on this, look at any chick looking at a furry ball of something, and you will hear a multitude of those sighs of adoration...) to things that naturally are vicious or are aquiescent. (Which brings up my loathing of vegans that feel noble in there cause to save animals that have no problem with killing other animals or even their own species)
- iRaachie, on 04/30/2008, -9/+7Hey, No screw you guys, this isn't going to be a Graveyard again. I don't go on Digg to read the stories I come here for the damn COMMENTS..

- Towelie, on 04/30/2008, -7/+2they are just cuddling...what's wrong whit that?
;) - D0m0kun, on 04/30/2008, -12/+7Perhaps it's the hippie in me, but I can't help but feel sorry for the baby fawn. But them I remind myself that it's a necessary step of natural selection. Then I can't help but lament that there's not more Darwinian selection amongst humans.
Why, God? Why can't there be an invisible hand that obliterates anyone that- A: Thinks the world is 5000 years old, B: Thinks Hillary is going save America, or C: Thinks it's cool to have a plastic pair of testicles hanging from the back of their truck that they paid 900$ to have fitted with a nonfunctional second exhaust and ***** up sounding muffler?- iticu, on 04/30/2008, -1/+2"I felt sad for a bit that the fawn had to die - but then I went on to feel even more sad because thousands of humans aren't dieing because they don't conform to my viewpoints."
What?

- DickyT83, on 04/30/2008, -7/+2I love the cheetah on the left in the 4th pic down. Look at his face, no emotion whatsoever.
- Dystisis, on 04/30/2008, -1/+7Why should it express an emotion? It is just doing what it needs to do in order to survive. Just stupid humans that need to assign emotions to every god damn thing.

- elyobelyob, on 04/30/2008, -4/+3It's more concerning that there have been two Daily Wail stories on the front page of Digg in 24 hours. If we do have a gaggle of housewives on here, can you please make yourselves known. There are some desperate young men here looking for women with experience. (Well, anything, probably) (Unless they're too busy playing Gand Theft Auto IV).
- Nelka, on 04/30/2008, -3/+6I understand that this is nature and this is how life works. Still, the dopey girl in me wants can't help but feel sorry for the little thing. This is where I go find my cats and cuddle them for reassurance.
- galore, on 04/30/2008, -1/+7Now that is an odd reaction. Maybe if you would cuddle a mouse...
- zdislaw, on 04/30/2008, -1/+5The dopey boy in me can't stop himself from pointing out that if your cats were five times the size they are your reassuring cuddle could end very tragically ;)
- edwartica, on 04/30/2008, -3/+1I have my cat on a purely vegan diet. Its exactly how God intended animals to eat. Its up to mankind to subdue nature so it doesn't follow its animalistic instincts! :P
- Jibberwalk, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2If you have a boy in you... that might be rape.
- zdislaw, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1It's just a dopey boy, fer chrissake!
- xmkatx, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1I'm with you, Nelka. I probably wouldn't have felt so bad if it wasn't a baby...
- MinaLiyu, on 04/30/2008, -3/+8Well, my cat was bringing me living mice all time, now I know why.
- zeabu, on 04/30/2008, -1/+6It's proudness, they're not teaching you. They see you as the adult members of their pack. Like dogs see you as a part of their pack, and if you're weak, they will try to be the chief of the pack.
- stonebear, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1Cats don't have packs.
- zeabu, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1In the wild they don't. My cats, and the ones of friends, I've seen them chasing together. Maybe not all cats like company, but some do.
- stonebear, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1Cats don't have packs.
- edwartica, on 04/30/2008, -0/+3Its a threat - its trying to show you its power, so if it ever feels threatened by you, you'll know what it can do.
- xmkatx, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1I always knew it was pride OR b/c they liked to torture the still living mice....
- passedoutghost, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0"Hey you! Kill this!"

- boejangles, on 04/30/2008, -7/+2Left - McCain. Right - Obama... In the middle, Hillary.
- edwartica, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1I'm sorry, but there's no way Hillary could look that cute.
- Jibberwalk, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1You analogy is off. Obama would be in the center.
- gmdmartyr, on 04/30/2008, -2/+2We do that! It's called FOOD! ie:nature, the food chain,survival.

- Codylan, on 04/30/2008, -2/+1Watch as the masterful hunter directs the cow down the chute. Whack! That's the sound of a sledgehammer cracking the bovines skull. Notice the skill in which the other hunters disassemble the beast. Ummmm! Pass the A1. Hey! All creatures have to eat!
- cpbrown, on 04/30/2008, -5/+2OMG ANIMAL CRUELTY!!!!! oh so it's okay when animals do it then?

- Tweedows, on 04/30/2008, -0/+2Amazing! Nature is not full of Bambis and Thumpers, but instead its filled with violence and death. Who would have thought!
- IpwnZnoobs, on 04/30/2008, -0/+3"Hunting is the most important lesson the cubs can learn from their as these newly honed skills not only ensure they can hunt for food, but also enables them to avoid predators such as eagles."
Eagles? How the hell - ZurMacht, on 04/30/2008, -0/+2In the first pic they were actually just playing telephone... The subsequent pics are the result of the impala trying to ruin the game.
- Gaeokerena, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0Come on people these are clearly edited. In the image titled "The mother teaches her young the thrill of the chase" the cub is missing part of its face. They have poor shadows and sloppy overlays. It seems all the rage today to touch up images to make them more appealing / provoking. Give me a break.............
- nydwarf, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2This reminds me of when my mom taught me how to hunt.
- sopadeelle, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1that was so depressing. thanks for ruining my day :[
- irishjamie, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1Where Bambie goes, nothing grows. Nature is Nature. Life is what we see and learn from it. But we as humans know we all got to live together.
