- bernandoo, on 02/21/2008, -2/+24I actually hadn't thought much about my parents' sexual habits... until now.
Thanks. - jjb123, on 02/21/2008, -0/+19Oh ok, sign me up then.

- bthug7, on 02/21/2008, -0/+10I'm sure you have proof sitting right on your hard drive.
Sorry but I had to. - IllBeBack, on 02/21/2008, -0/+10Yes, you were the only one.
I hope. - satanswetnipple, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10Possibly, but I am not going to be reincarnated as a bonobo! If I wanted lots of hairy women, I would go to an Italian orgy.
- bthug7, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10So thats why that middle eastern girl called me "The Banana Slug".
- sockpuppets, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8That knocking noise in your top dresser drawer is me deflowering your socks.
- tonidizer, on 02/22/2008, -0/+8Just a small note on #1. Not all cichlids do that. This behavior is specific to multiple species from lake Malawi, Africa. And none others. There are also mouthbrooders in other areas, but these do not have the egg-shaped spots on their fins. So it'd be useful if the author was a bit more specific.
And if you want to know about weird sexual behavior in fish, have a look at Anableps anableps. This species of fish is a livebearer, i.e. it has something like a penis (males, obviously). But the thing is, that the population is subdivided. There are males, which can only turn their "penis" to the right, and there are those which can only turn it to the left. Females are also subdidived into those with their "vagina" in one or in the other direction. Therefore, only half the population can copulate with the other half. Imagine that! See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onesided_livebearer.
Other interesting mating behaviour in fish is Tanganyika's Lamprologus callipterus. The male is few times larger than the female, and the females live in snail shells. Males keep harems of females in shells, and are known to kidnap shells (with females inside) from their neighbours. See: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/l_callipteru ...
Finally, there's Copella arnoldi from the Amazon. This fish lays its eggs above water, on leaves. Both male and female jump out of the water. The female lays the eggs, then the male jumps and fertilizes them whilst passing under the leaf.
There are much more such cases in the fish world. - aresgunther, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8"And you thought your parents had weird sexual habits."
No, dude. You're just ***** up. - bthug7, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8And people still don't believe in evolution?

- haochi, on 02/21/2008, -0/+5Wikipedia: "Along with common chimpanzees, Bonobos are Humans' closest living relatives."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonobo - KillerStone, on 02/22/2008, -0/+5That can't end well...
- kurkpeterman, on 02/22/2008, -0/+5the last one is the best
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -0/+4Bah - people don't believe in evolution because they're bitter. I mean, sure, having a more highly-evolved brain and whatnot may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but looking back, I kinda feel like we took a step backwards there.
- satanswetnipple, on 02/22/2008, -0/+4Maybe you were... But it would have make me piss myself laughing if I had been surprised.
- codyr, on 02/21/2008, -2/+5my PARENTS??? wtf lol
- bthug7, on 02/22/2008, -0/+3I looked at your profile and you claim to be a dwarf and now your saying you were immaculately conceived, have you read "A Prayer for Owen Meany", by John Irving. Not a great book but a similar theme.
- jamesov89, on 02/21/2008, -1/+4the answer: aids
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -0/+3And here I was thinking that they were doing something disgusting.
- edwartica, on 02/22/2008, -0/+3No, no, no. read it again. I said I was born on a Dwarf PLANET. A little nod to the unfairly downgraded Pluto. ;)
- donkz, on 02/22/2008, -0/+3I wish i could replicate #1 in real life. I'd blow my funny fuse if i could.
- edwartica, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Ahem....
That's what she said....
*ducks* - edwartica, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Sigh, I was born about 20 years too late.
- TallChick, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Was this before or after you chose your moniker?
- JRW5061, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2I'm more creeped out by the submitters summary of the story.
- edwartica, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Well, it sure would cut down on food costs. You take a girl out for dinner, and you only have to pay for one person!
- gen0x, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Oh, and National Geographic has it on their hard drive:

Sorry but I had to. And sorry they were photos. - greeniemeani, on 02/21/2008, -2/+4So can I complain about it not all being on one page?
- midbc, on 02/22/2008, -2/+4Christians are a by-product of stork sex
- shesmiledXidied, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2"The snakes coil around one another in an attempt to be the one lucky dude who gets to taste forbidden snake fruit, while the rest dry hump the hell out of each other until they can never look each other in the eye again." Priceless.
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Now there's something you never want to see - the mating rituals of the typical Internet spam bot.
