- mycutepetpics, on 11/19/2008, -0/+5What a heart warming story! Tears ran down my face while I was reading this beautiful artical. I hope more people emulate Madeline Pickens and her efforts to save horses from certain death.
You are our hero Madeline! - manzplan, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3my mistake earlier.. I wasnt able to edit it soon enough on my earlier comment - although T Boone is awesome (known for his efforts at solving the energy crisis) it is his wifes efforts towards helping the horses.
- djodorg, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3That is beautiful
- BrennanK, on 12/02/2008, -0/+1Thank you for sharing a story about people who use their resources for good.
- celticanglican, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Long live the Pickens!
- manzplan, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1oh ya, I wasnt correcting you..I was correcting me in my first comment..
If I were closer I would take some too - I have 10 acres.. we hve loads of animals we pick up at auctions... - katedog, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1True, but had I titled it "Madeline Pickens...." the article might have gone unnoticed. And thus I started the description with Madeline to give her the props she deserves.
A story worth following. If only I had the land, I'd take 20.
