- ScottMcIntyre, on 09/06/2008, -1/+8Poor mutt- though hearing a dog rattling about is a little strange.
QFA: "The vet hadn't seen anything like it - it was bizarre. I thought he might have had a couple in there, but not 13. He is a black lab so he is a fair size - but to swallow 13 is quite amazing.' ... Just about says it all :-) - waydee, on 09/07/2008, -1/+7"He finds golf balls like truffles." lol, I know what he means - my dog used to root them out on golfcourses too although she was never silly enough to eat them.
Delicious golfballs, glad the dog is fine. - TheGuruStud, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4That's true with most breeds nowadays. There's so much inbreeding that they've all become ugly, retarded and very unhealthy. Muts at your local animal shelter are 10 times better. Every dog we have are ones that people beat/neglected and/or and threw out on the streets. I challenge you to find smarter, more behaved and loyal dogs than them.
Money can't buy that. - inactive, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4*monocle pops out*
- ogak123, on 09/07/2008, -2/+6Balls are touching
- gkiltz, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Next time this owner will know to get a Lab mixed with SOMETHING! Almost anything!
They need to find some intelligence somewhere!
The Labrador Retriever began as one of the smartest breeds, and now, thanks to poor breeding has become one of the dumbest! - Saiko89, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Dugg for awesome.

- ikayto, on 09/07/2008, -3/+5guess he had an unhealthy appetite for golf.
- Nighthawke, on 09/08/2008, -0/+2Labs, *facepalms* yes, they love to gnaw on and eat almost ANYTHING they can get their muzzles on, especially when they are young to adolescent.
Partly why Vets call them "Trash Can Dogs". - supermanred, on 09/08/2008, -0/+2Cool. Next time they should feed him those glowing LED balls they sell at carnivals... i bet if he ate enough of them he would rattle and glow.
- gettarat, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1Dugg for awesome.
http://hypoallergenicdogbreeds.org/ - Justine0916, on 09/08/2008, -0/+1Apparently the eating of strange things is called "pica" and lots of dogs do it, often as a result of stress or boredom.
http://www.findingdulcinea.com/news/health/Septemb ... - Jashobeam5, on 09/14/2008, -0/+1We had a mixed breed we rescued. She was as bright as a bag of rocks and not loyal. I think she was part tabby. Still, much better than a pure bred poodle.
- paulclough, on 12/08/2008, -0/+1lol poor dog!! Ah well at least they got removed - Dogs Balls!! DUgg!

- walshgopher, on 09/09/2008, -1/+1That dog has balls.
- dgolf, on 02/03/2009, -0/+0I wonder if the discount stores will take the balls and sell them as seconds?
Golf Reviews
http://www.golfreviewsbyus.com - traininglabs, on 02/23/2009, -0/+0That's not nearly as bad as the dog I heard about who swallowed a KITCHEN KNIFE -- yes. I saw a picture of the x-ray. It looked really bad. I don't know whether the dog survived.
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -3/+2my dog won't swallow balls unless I put remoulard on them
- PHiZ187, on 09/07/2008, -5/+4Cats > Dogs
- Steeeeve1, on 09/07/2008, -5/+1I think this article is BS. At first they refer to the dog's stomach as "her stomach" and then in the next paragraph it's "he, him, his". Bury Bury Bury.
- willowwolf, on 09/07/2008, -8/+3this is so stupid. watch your ***** dog. anyway, every dog owner knows from the start that the dog eats ***** or not. so, don't take him to places where he's going to eat all kinds of things he shouldn't eat. train the dumb animal! jebus!
