I understand people who think that torturing bunnies so that people can have safe eye-liner is morally questionable, I really do. But PETA has moved so far away from its roots in a cause, that even if you ultimately disagreed with it, you could understand the reasoning behind it. Now they are just crazy.
It reminds me of a talk I had with an friend from Northern Ireland around the time they were finally coming around to peace. He said that the real ideological battle was over and everything that was going on was just about people trying to keep positions of power.
