- Yetisquatch, on 03/22/2008, -2/+280Yeah, first its all cute and everyone feels all warm and fuzzy inside. Next thing you know, the Statue of Liberty is buried up to her neck and you're being run down by Mr Fuzzy and all his friends on horseback. Damn dirty apes......

- element4l, on 03/22/2008, -1/+21It's a breakthrough in technology!
- theradical, on 03/22/2008, -0/+20Well, it appears that monkey has a lot to teach that scientist.
- demodawid, on 03/22/2008, -0/+19Dr. Zaius Dr. Zaius!
- dawa259, on 03/22/2008, -1/+19No MONKEY!! Its MY Chicken Potpie!
- inactive, on 03/22/2008, -1/+19That's actually quite amazing. The ability to imitate requires a significant amount of mirror neurons in a developed brain. Chimpanzees generally aren't even capable of this, at least not while watching one another.
- birdman14, on 03/22/2008, -0/+15video of the same monkey
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erSoiMwhutg - atown44, on 03/22/2008, -1/+16THE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!!!
seriously.. why wear the goggles. - inactive, on 03/22/2008, -1/+14It really is phenomenal. I mean there are a lot of intelligent animals out there. Some of them can learn very rudimentary language, some have unique problem solving skills, and others can learn thru re-enforced behavior. But the ability to imitate is so close to a human-like trait that you can't deny an evolutionary link between us and our closest cousins in the great ape family.
- Supurcell, on 03/22/2008, -0/+13I remember watching Life of Mammals, by David Attenborough, and there was one segment on orangutans in a reserve. These orangutans watched the humans and began to imitate their behavior all on their own. They would wash socks, paddle around in a canoe, use a saw, and hammer nails. They weren't very good at sawing or hammering nails, but they tried their hardest. It was really amazing to see these creature act so much like us.

- almightyzam, on 03/22/2008, -1/+11If you are, in fact, implying that Obama is a monkey, thus making a racially offensive remark, then I have only one thing to give you...

- NightVortez, on 03/22/2008, -9/+14This is why I think this country would be much better off run by monkeys.

- Shaggy6ster, on 03/22/2008, -1/+6Dugg for "tongue protrusion".

- EpicSelekta, on 03/22/2008, -0/+5No Chimp Left Behind.
- NightVortez, on 03/22/2008, -1/+5Hey now, there is no need for such insults, what have monkeys done to you?
- hazard99, on 03/22/2008, -1/+5My gosh. That monkey is so cute.
- inactive, on 03/22/2008, -2/+6How MrBabyMan keeps getting Diggs, expressed in photography.
- da_bradler, on 03/22/2008, -0/+4current primates aren't our ancestors, there just as evolved as we are they just took a different path. There more like cousins, in that we have a common ancestor somewhere way back but the 10s of thousands of years since then we have both followed our separate paths.
- Mawds, on 03/22/2008, -0/+4I hate every ape I see, from chimpan-a to chimpan-zee....
