- naturalpapa, on 11/15/2008, -0/+11Come on, people. Dogfighting is so 19th century.
- Zeitgeister, on 11/15/2008, -0/+9Whats going to happen to the 168 dogs they seized?
- GrandmaSheila, on 11/15/2008, -0/+8Redneck barbarians. They should throw away the key on these vicious bastards.
- chibichibie, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5A cruel "entertainment". Forcing a living creature into fear, to protect its own life for the entertainment of others. It faces horrible injuries and even death... even with the 168 dogs seized, there's little chance for them to live on and become adoptable. Sure they're usually breeds that are known for fighting and aggression, but now they're less susceptible to kind, human compassion or training. Adding in limited resources and space... *sigh* A sad article either way...
- mrgreenjeans, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5I was surprised to find that fighting dogs can be rehabilitated. Many of Michael Vic's dogs have been rehabilitated and adopted by families. National Geographic had a special about it.
One of the rescuers said the Pit Bull breed naturally wants to please. So much so, that it will even kill if that's what pleases the owner.
I could only find a clip:

- mycutepetpics, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3Some idiots just can't let go of their barbaric ways. They must have pathetic lives with nowhere else to turn. It still shocks me when i hear these stories. I really hope they get treated the same way in the next life or hopefully sooner!
- manzplan, on 11/15/2008, -0/+3I dont believe in the Bible.. but can I get an "AMEN"?
- brokendalek, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2That is good news that those poor dogs have been rescued. I hate reading about things like this.
- celticanglican, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2It surprised me, too, to learn that fighting dogs can be rehabilitated. Thank God for that.
