- ConAmoreEFuoco, on 08/22/2008, -4/+39That's not a large and in charge enormous animal, that's my wife!
- DrDragun, on 08/22/2008, -5/+38Smug fat kid with $60 Wal-Mart pistol standing over the carcass of an exceptional specimen of natural might and ferocity and a symbol of millions of years of evolution driven by survival of the fittest to produce over 1000 lbs of animal which would surely dominate and rule its local patch of forest and any other natural beast it might encounter = sigh.
Also the 2 hobbits with the catfish are funny. - FonzsXe, on 08/22/2008, -2/+20No Rosie O'donell?!
- Shao00, on 08/22/2008, -1/+18The giant boar looks like its straight out of princess mononoke
- sykotik, on 08/22/2008, -1/+15I liked the giant pig. I have to be honest, if I saw that out in the woods all by my lonesome, I'd most likely never go back into the woods again, IF the thing didn't chase me down and eat me first.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -1/+11Yeah, but he's still a dumb hick for killing a unique living being for absolutely no other reason than it being a unique living being.
That's like finding the last remaining dinosaur egg and making scrambled eggs.
And to DrDragun:
That cheap gun is .50 caliber competition revolver.

- Flambo, on 08/22/2008, -2/+9It's depressing to think that we live in a world where a fat turd like that can take down such an impressive animal by himself.
I'd bet you lil porkums took down the thing from an impressive amount of cover. And if he did it with a handcannon like that, i'll bet you he missed the first shot.
And I'll bet you, that when that whiny lil chubbernaut plays Rainbow Six he yells for his mom to get him some 'mother ***** chocolate milk!' - Flambo, on 08/22/2008, -1/+78 shots from range, one point blank. That kid's a real hero alright.
I have to disagree with Merendino somewhat on the evolution point. Humans are of course the product of evolution, and as a species we are clearly higher on the natural-selection scale than boars.
But while that boar represents perhaps the pinnacle of his species' evolution, one would be hard pressed to say the same about the smug fat kid who shot him, while keeping a straight face. The kid clearly possesses no great skill, nor courage nor cunning. It's clear to look at him that he's no great physical specimen either. Based on his choice of hobby, and his encounter with the boar we can also infer that he is no great genius.
And yet thanks to the innovations of better, greater people who came before him, this sad degenerate kid was able to kill a creature that was in every way his superior. Every way except one: the way the kid was carrying a weapon whose function he scarcely understands, in whose use he is scarcely proficient, and whose purchase he could not afford.
Sad. - Mootabolife, on 08/22/2008, -1/+7I thought I would get this ready for the rest of the comments to come:

I've never seen a Great Dane that can compare to a fully grown Irish Wolfhound. - gurtinu, on 08/22/2008, -2/+6it's faked
http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/hogzilla.asp - Merendino, on 08/22/2008, -6/+9Your forgetting our natural evolution that produced his parents and his parents parents, and equipped them with the smarts to build weapons not expressly given to us by Evolution. And the 1000 lbs of animal that should dominate his local patch of the forest obviously didn't help him much as the reason this boy probably shot the thing was due to its enormous size.
Looks like evolution was working full-'boar' on that one.
P.S. Humans are a natural beast. When we kill something.... naturally it dies. - OfNumbers, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4The boar is a photoshop, not an "exceptional specimen of natural might and ferocity.".. Wow. I'm shocked I seem to be the only one looking at this post who realizes it?
- alclone, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4If I saw that in the woods, I'll call my DnD+WoW friends and we'll go off collecting some loot.

i'm a busy man, i got ***** to do today - Yazilliclick, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3Don't know why you're being marked down because it's quite obvious. It's also a pretty pathetic story in how it died with this kid running around behind it missing, grazing and wounding it by shooting it for some time before it eventually suffered enough injuries that it collapsed and died. Which is all that much worse considering it was a domesticated pig raised on a farm and then put on a contained hunting farm or what have you.
