    im less impressed with what the goose is doing than i am with the photographer who was flying upside down and taking pictures at the same time. that is pretty impressive if you ask me.

  • RogerStrong, on 05/20/2009, -0/+1I've seen this in person. The geese were coming in for a landing, and some would do this snap-roll. It's very brief - you couldn't describe it as flying upside-down.

    My guess is that they were trying to lose altitude in a hurry without diving.
