- vagrantwade, on 11/14/2009, -0/+11If I was a Manta Ray I would be ***** pissed that people kept blaming me for Steve Irwin's death.

I don't think I've ever heard of a Manta ray killing someone. - Kungfumantis239, on 11/14/2009, -0/+4I'm one of the lucky people who have been able to get in the water with these amazing creatures(they are completely harmless.). Truly beautiful and I highly recommend it to anyone if they ever get the chance. The beauty is just astounding.
I'll say again, they're completely harmless. - Princeamor, on 11/14/2009, -0/+4I didn't know they weren't caught on camera before.
- EffZee, on 11/14/2009, -0/+4FTA - Dr Marshall described the manta rays as ' the most beautiful underwater birds'
Up yours aquatic fowl! Fish is the new bird. - cptcliche, on 11/14/2009, -0/+3Please don't breed

- Skootles, on 11/14/2009, -0/+2That'd be a stingray. These are manta rays.
- Lochie, on 11/14/2009, -0/+2Manta ray's stingers don't even do anything according to the article.
- affcustdetail, on 11/14/2009, -0/+2Some Bad ass photos

- Skootles, on 11/13/2009, -2/+3I'd be ***** myself if I were that cameraman.
- breached, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1Dance the manta ray!
- AlThor880, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1So... There is an entire industry in Hawaii for tourists wanting to go on a Manta Ray dive. I went on one-such dive and have plenty of footage of these giant magnificent creatures. I fail to see how this is remarkable new footage...
- Rixar13, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1"Manta rays feed on plankton and sometimes skim the reefs with their mouths. It is not known what they feed on when migrating."
Amazing pictures. - FordSVT1, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1It says "unique", not remarkable new footage. While unique might be a stretch, you could say that every photograph is indeed unique.
- ReaverKS, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1***** manta rays

- firewall1, on 11/14/2009, -5/+1Until they sting you through your rib cage and into your heart.
- mrzisme, on 11/13/2009, -10/+0Its very sad that on the same day the giant manta ray was discovered, they also discovered the first manta ray poacher. The 2nd photograph shows a man just seconds before he blasted the creature with his custom railgun that he fabricated inside his secret underwater laboratory.
