Notasulga, AL 36866 - magneteye, on 01/15/2009, -1/+110What kind of douche writes the post office to get the cat banned in the first place?
- redwolfwalker, on 01/14/2009, -1/+99This cat had recently been banned from digg for being a power digger, and was no longer getting email alerts...was very depressed, so he has resorted to going back to snail mail
- maxtangent, on 01/14/2009, -4/+69Someone at that post office doesn't like pussy.
- sjmulder, on 01/15/2009, -1/+62Woot now I have the perfect address for my US iTunes account.
- GeorgeStone2, on 01/15/2009, -1/+55"And that's why I think it's unnacceptable that a cat be let into a post office.
Signed
Rover" - vtbarrera, on 02/03/2009, -2/+55The cat should stick to using Twitter. He won't run into problems there.
- GeorgeStone2, on 01/15/2009, -1/+50I work at a school and we have a cat called Charlie who hangs around inside the office and school.
Last year he got hit by a car and they sent around a donation bucket.
The donations paid for his operation but now he has no tail.
He's even on our school website as a member of staff :D - MiveHind, on 01/15/2009, -1/+47Post office cat is watching you pay taxes
- alapoet, on 01/14/2009, -3/+49I guess you missed the part where the people of the town came together in support of the cat?
No sweat; I guess you were too busy being superior. - dgn3, on 01/14/2009, -2/+40someone went postal...
- thedaytripper, on 01/15/2009, -1/+37I'm in ur post offices
avoiding ur tax laws - dbldn, on 01/14/2009, -3/+37I can read stories about cats all day long.
- 1807, on 01/15/2009, -1/+35Someone with nothing better to do? I mean think about it. To write an actual letter you have to get out paper, a pen, an envelope AND a stamp. That is not just something like a text message that you do on a whim.
- 1807, on 01/15/2009, -0/+33amen brother.
- GeorgeStone2, on 01/15/2009, -2/+32A real bastard?
- antdude, on 01/15/2009, -2/+30A douche who hates and/or allergic to cats,
- Fhwqhgads, on 01/15/2009, -3/+29This isn't the Onion??
- firex726, on 01/15/2009, -0/+26Link?
- TheMachine1, on 01/15/2009, -0/+20With all the stress he is under someone should mail him some high grade catnip.
- rkthoadan, on 01/15/2009, -0/+20I would actually guess this is more like the busiest news day they've had in a while.
- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -4/+24Cats have had a free ride for too long.
Ever come home and find your cat cooking you a meal?
Your cat ever chip in for pizza?
Ever see a cat doing housework or even tidying up? - OutpostNetwork, on 01/15/2009, -1/+20Dugg for the accents. Small town America, God love 'em.
- meekrob, on 01/14/2009, -0/+19I was laughing until I saw the position of my state. Arizona ranks dead last.
- djmphoto, on 01/15/2009, -2/+20Lynx?
- inactive, on 01/14/2009, -2/+20Awesome I should send a letter to this cat
- detroitplaya, on 01/15/2009, -3/+20i can has po box?
- kiwiboyus, on 01/15/2009, -1/+18"I've noticed that a lot of people who claim to have cat allergies are just dicks." There I fixed it for you.
- inlovingmemory, on 01/15/2009, -0/+16Jesus christ, those residents are passionate, turning out to let Sammy into a post office. In England we can't even be ***** to stop post offices closing down.
- StrangeFamous, on 01/15/2009, -4/+18no, YOU shudup
- korvan504521, on 01/15/2009, -0/+13in the US we just call them old people. And they're ok with that.
And we call poor people poor people, not "people on benefits". - cyrusuncc, on 01/15/2009, -0/+12In the town I grew up in, if there was a car wreck it made the front page. It was also the "talk of the town" when there was a small fire at the movie theater in the popcorn machine. It was in the paper for a few days (with updates!)
- meekrob, on 01/14/2009, -1/+13Those warm southern attitudes almost makes me want to move to bama. Almost.
- abol684, on 01/15/2009, -0/+12not even lying, i just sent Sammy a letter. :P
- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -0/+12much like your comment, eh?
- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -0/+11Agreed, although it is a bit more well thought out than, say, jumping in front of the computer screen while you're typing.
- punkcat, on 01/15/2009, -1/+12ahhh ***** it was the town dog all along.
and he would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling diggers. - inactive, on 01/15/2009, -0/+11you would have to have some pretty sever cat allergies to have one cat in a building that you visit for 5 - 10 minutes bother your. also I've noticed that a lot of people who claim to have cat allergies just don't like cats.
- basotl, on 01/15/2009, -1/+12If the reason was allergies why not use that as opposed to taxes as being the reason?
- dustingamble, on 01/15/2009, -0/+10That still doesn't make up for the fact that you're from New Jersey...
- StrangeFamous, on 01/15/2009, -1/+11And city folk would starve if they were in the country without supermarkets.
"What are these? SEEDS? What the hell am I supposed to do with these?" - nmezib, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9"One of the pleasures of living in a small town like this is having a post office cat!"
WE'VE BEEN MISSING OUT, PEOPLE. - dragonrebornn, on 01/15/2009, -3/+12sad cat is sad?
- MattB123, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9That guy must be a dog.
- JAVandiver, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9Never go to Thailand...
- 64705, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9Quote from the video: "one of the advantages of living in a small town is having a post office cat".
True, I live in the suburbs and we only have alcoholics outside our Post Offices. - inlovingmemory, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9***** = bothered. Basically, we can't be bothered to stop lots of post offices closing down around the country. England is quite apathetic i find.
