- Slimtoad, on 05/16/2008, -3/+31But it's the shortest 6ft 6in Shire Horse.
- Marley88, on 05/16/2008, -1/+15How much taller is it than the other 6ft 5in Shire Horses?
- Paranoidmarvin, on 05/16/2008, -1/+12Not as cool or tasty as this cow:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/tec ... - HenvY, on 05/16/2008, -0/+11Britain's biggest horse isn't as big as Britain's biggest cow. This is embarrassing for horses.
- manfrin, on 05/16/2008, -0/+6You'd think horses from the Shire would be smaller.
- cygnus2112, on 05/16/2008, -1/+6That's what she said.
- cygnus2112, on 05/16/2008, -0/+5One would lead to wonder how the hobbits mounted these Shire horses. Ladder? Hobbit harness? Pole vaulting? Dwarf tossing?
- GUTTS, on 05/16/2008, -1/+6"Luckily for those who take care of Duke at The Horse Refuge in Finchingfield, near Braintree, Essex, he is as gentle as a lamb."
Right, until he caves your head in with those steel shod hooves.... - jasdf, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4I say shoot the damn thing, it eats $160 worth of food per week!!!
- sovereign3, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4You've obviously never tasted horse!
- dudefaceguyman, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3"Despite his size, Duke gets on well with his more diminutive stablemates and has a particularly soft spot for a Shetland pony called Jasper"
and Jasper is deathly afraid of Duke pounding her. - pinguwin, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2My mom had such a work horse, albeit regular-sized, in her backyard in Green Bay, WI when she was growing up in the fifties. Her grandfather leased land of the edge of town that he would farm and used the horse to help him, though this was long after most farmers had moved to tractors. She said she was so emberassed about the horse, this being at a time in both her life and the country's life when conformity was de rigeur (yeah, I know, it always is). However if today she had a horse in her backyard, rather than hiding it, you'd flaunt it, "We have a horse in our backyard. It's a big shire you know.'
- GUTTS, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2It's easy they use Gandalfs magic stick *wink*
- TheHogester, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2Possibly the only horse Rik Waller could ride?
- UltX, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2There is no horse level.
What? - Calcheesmo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1"As Chilli was growing up we began noticing that he was bigger than our other cows."
Oh, really? - robert001, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1You cheated on me? When I specifically told you not to?
- Calcheesmo, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2ok, who else wanted to see a comparison with a normal sized horse? That's like having the world's tallest man stand next to a midget....yeah he's tall, but this gives you a skewed sense of reality
- backbyter, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1But the biggest ever was Samson at 21.25 hands (7ft 2in), estimated peak weight: 3,360 pounds.
- anshuman, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1now that is some big horse.
- nonks, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1anyone else thinks it would be cool if the horse's owner was the cause for it's huge size??? like spiritual wise
- Galaktik, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1no wonder, shire horses are know to be the tallest !
- comeradealexi, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1lol thats huge!
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Or knocks you out with a headbutt.
- hollyminkowski, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1I'd look like a midget sitting on that horse!
You could break an ankle just dismounting. - Kruez, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1Can I get it in black?
- TheKrillr, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2gnome punting.

- mhuggins, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Oh come on, this is obviously the SHORTEST 6ft 5in shire horse. Buried as inaccurate.
- antdude, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Afraid of mice? I thought that was with elephants!

(followed by the the World's Smallest Giant) - AshleyHuber, on 05/16/2008, -3/+0Ok, my producer Tara Kate just told this isn't a horse; it's a butterfly.
...Huh, it my, in fact, be a moth. - pinguwin, on 05/16/2008, -5/+0My mom had such a work horse, albeit regular-sized, in her backyard in Green Bay, WI when she was growing up in the fifties. - Oppslagsverk, on 05/16/2008, -5/+1The horse isn't as big as the stupidity of digging this.
