Very sad, these guys developed such a strong bond with their dogs and when their tour was up, most weren't allowed to bring their dogs home with them and never saw them again. Even worse, once the War was over, most of the dogs were either terminated or given to the vietnamese. Very sad, especially since all of these dogs saved countless American soldiers.
