Animal testing on the rise

examiner.com — A new report from the USDA shows lab testing on dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits and more has significantly increased over the past several years, despite advances that give scientists better, cruelty-free alternatives. The HSUS says "The number of animals used in research that caused unrelieved pain and/or distress to the animals increased 5 percent"
