- manzplan, on 11/20/2008, -6/+85Good Canadian Justice!!!
- smoger, on 11/20/2008, -3/+77i was hoping that the story would be that he was ordered to have his ears cut off
- JustLetGo, on 11/20/2008, -8/+77And that's how Karma works.
- Lsvpa, on 11/20/2008, -1/+45An eye for an eye make the whole world blind. - ghandi
- ryanonfire, on 11/20/2008, -3/+34Wouldn't that just double the amount of crimes.
- einrobstein, on 11/20/2008, -4/+31No. You are completely mistaken.
- av4rice, on 11/20/2008, -7/+31Wait, what is Mike Tyson doing in a Canadian jail?
- mikbunn, on 11/20/2008, -2/+24Maybe these kids will be thrown in a microwave.
http://digg.com/gaming_news/Judge_Bans_Teens_From_ ... - artfiend77, on 11/20/2008, -2/+23Pointless rant. You do realize cutting off a dogs ears for no reason and killing an animal for food are two different things, right?
- mrblue182, on 11/20/2008, -6/+26Deserves it the sick bastard.
- cyrusuncc, on 11/20/2008, -1/+19hey, if the justice system doesn't do it, the inmates will
- dhVyse, on 11/20/2008, -1/+18Lol. That's like how pedophiles and rapists are treated in prison. Even murderers have no sympathy for someone who abuses animals. Good stuff.
- hauntedchippy, on 11/20/2008, -1/+18How would you punish someone who removed 50 pairs of eyes?
- imasuperDOTcom, on 11/20/2008, -1/+17Then I guess I'd do her...
- mrblue182, on 11/20/2008, -0/+16No. Bugs don't count.
- cyrusuncc, on 11/20/2008, -2/+17http://instantrimshot.com
well played - Lsvpa, on 11/20/2008, -5/+19Apparently its only legal to cut off dogs ears (and tails and balls) if you are a licensed vet.
- HCviolence, on 11/20/2008, -2/+16Karma is a *****.
- inajeep, on 11/20/2008, -1/+14Two years he can't own an animal? Should be longer.
- roomforpanic, on 11/20/2008, -2/+15You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
- offrdbandit, on 11/20/2008, -6/+19All this time, Tyson's been in jail in Canada?
Who knew... - MWeather, on 11/20/2008, -1/+14An eye for an eye is what makes Palestine and Israel such wonderful places.
- ironhide, on 11/20/2008, -3/+16I don't purchase meat from factory farms. I buy from a local farmer that I have met - also seen his farm.
I'm under no illusions about the animals I eat. Don't assume so much. - JohnFlux, on 11/20/2008, -0/+12There was a report on the BBC yesterday about revenge killing in Italy. It often goes on for generations. There are large numbers of children who have never been outside because their dad or granddad killed someone out of revenge who had killed one of their family out of revenge...
- BrewBeau, on 11/20/2008, -0/+12Maybe infant humans shouldn't either. They're weak, ignorant, require 24 hour care, and a ton of resources. And they won't pull their weight for a good 12-15 years. Children are a huge drain on the economy. Pests, even.
And animals are not equated to humans in court. If you cut the ears off of a child you'd probably go to jail a lot longer than this guy does. - FeloniusMonkey, on 11/20/2008, -1/+13Make him watch 50 episodes of Mr. Belvedere in one sitting.
- banderwocky, on 11/20/2008, -0/+11What jail did he get sent to? Maybe I can buy some justice with cigarettes and pr0n mags!
That guy has a lot coming to him. - cyrusuncc, on 11/20/2008, -2/+13And that's the way the cookie crumbles
- emazur, on 11/20/2008, -0/+10Killing insects with insecticide is defending your property (such as guarding your house from termites, or protecting your plants and crops). This guy just decided to cut off the ears of his pet for ***** and giggles, which is completely immoral. If he decided to poison his dog with insecticide, I won't go so far as to say he should be poisoned himself, but I would wish a very harsh sentence indeed for taking pleasure in hurting the defenseless
- ifruit, on 11/20/2008, -4/+13Whatever happened to the Marine puppy tosser?
- Huangism, on 11/20/2008, -2/+11easy solution, kill all members of both families. we have too many people on this planet anyway
- Jough, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9Gay porn websites are notorious for not providing good advertising revenue. Maybe you should put more pictures of your mom on there. That might draw some attention.
- rossiohead, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9Countering lame with lame does not a funny make. =/
- MrDave2176, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Or those that over-simplify matters by putting people into easily villainized categories.
- frieddonuts, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8Ummm this man took an animal that feels pain and has a natural trust of humans, and proceeded to mutilate it. He deserves everything he got.
As a volunteer at the humane society, I see this ***** all of the time- usually the bastards get away with it. - WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+8Vets use anesthesia. This guys has pleaded guilty to "three counts of animal cruelty, wilfully [sic] causing pain to an animal, causing unnecessary pain to a dog by not seeking veterinary attention and failure to provide care for -- and wilful [sic] neglect of -- a domestic animal." Not even close.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -4/+12***** off and learn some rationality yourself. If you equte cutting your dogs ear off to spraying some raid on some ants in your kitchen, you're a ***** idiot
- jmuh, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8I see nothing wrong with getting a smile out of this story. What this guy did was needlessly cruel. It's not like a judge handed down this sentence. It's just a coincidence that I can appreciate.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -4/+12***** people who dock their dog's ears. I see pitbulls in movies and on TV with docked ears and it ***** pisses me off. Its just encouraging dumbass lowlives to do it themselves.
- rossiohead, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8Can you explain why this is a bad thing?
If you're a licensed vet then you're using anesthesia and presumably doing it for the betterment of the animal or, when "cutting off balls", to keep the excess population of dogs/cats to a minimum to avoid abuse and neglect. Where are vets just lopping things off willy nilly? - jmuh, on 11/20/2008, -3/+10So you see no appreciable difference between killing a cow for food and chopping off a couple of its legs and leaving it to suffer?
- SverigesKung, on 11/20/2008, -7/+14I love to eat tortured bacon! Fear makes the pigs saltier!
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -2/+9lol wut
- mllawso, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Christ, apparently if you make a snarky comment on digg, 10 people will take you seriously and call you an idiot.
- Testiculese, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7But that's done with anesthesia in an office, not a kitchen knife in the backyard.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7I was going to Digg you, but upon realizing your handle is a spamdle, you were buried.
- Testiculese, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6Off a cliff will be good enough for me.
- LastDitchHero, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6In breeds like that like to get a little rough with each other or go through brush it is done when they are very young pups to prevent injury. I have two hound dogs and had their dew claws removed just for that reason. Didn't crop the ears though.
- davdev, on 11/20/2008, -3/+9Prison justice really is swift and complete.
