- Clerg, on 09/16/2009, -0/+1I have seen very large flocks of Snow Geese come up off the marsh on many occasions. It is just something to see that many crap machines trying to get airborne at once. They tend to circle up vertically off the water like a white tornado.
The funny thing is only a few of them are calling usually so you hear 10's of thousands of wings beating at once and just a few calls.
