Your comment is right on the money and makes me skeptical about this validity of this article. Babies are born with proportionately large heads when compared to the rest of their body - with their bodies catching up around 1-2 years of age. So if she essentially hasn't grown, why isn't this the case with her? Also if you look up Achondroplasia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achondroplasia) there is a whole host of other problems these unfortunate children go through that the article seems to imply she hasn't had. She is either spectacularly lucky (all things being relative of course) or something is not quite right with the article.
Then again, considering all I have read about birth defects in India in the last couple years (Cyclops Baby, Spiderbaby, Two-Face), I guess it could simply be par for the course.
