Wil Wheaton's wife is pretty good looking(I know I wasn't the only one who was curious what she looked like...) - danwallace, on 05/20/2009, -1/+25Family Guy? Dude's had a very active online presence for a long time.
- therightclique, on 05/20/2009, -1/+24Dude. Family Guy had nothing to do with Wil Wheaton's current popularity. You're a wicked massive tard if you believe it did.
- 99thPercentile, on 05/20/2009, -6/+26Wheaton has a simple but sincere perspective that is somewhat refreshing in a shallow world.
I can also appreciate it more since I'm more or less a classic geek (8-bit computers, D&D, early "InterWeb" adopter, etc.) and met my wife at a Mensa meeting.
It was pretty much geek-love at first sight, but it became an eternal commitment (tm) when we were walking through a shopping mall on an early date and she ran into an arcade (first) and challenged me to an early "shooter" game. She won, so I pretty much had to marry her. - crazyhorse13, on 05/20/2009, -0/+14I was willing to let the Mensa comment go, but then I saw your username.
99thPercentile? Really? - okidokie123, on 05/19/2009, -9/+22LOL! Wesley Crusher grew a beard!!!
- Subduction, on 05/20/2009, -0/+11SET PHASERS TO STUNNING!!!
- captainserial, on 05/19/2009, -1/+10I have a similar battle ahead of me, but I've already got mine watching things like BSG and the new Star Trek movie, and we're not even married quite yet, so it isn't that hard.
- sockpuppets, on 05/20/2009, -11/+19Shut up, Wesley!
- databyss, on 05/20/2009, -0/+7I enjoy a hearty laughter at your MENSA boasting Mr.... 99th Percentile.
(a.k.a. LOL MENSA!) - MonkeyNews, on 05/20/2009, -0/+7I wouldn't go about boasting Mensa affiliation.
**looks at username**........oh dear. - danwallace, on 05/20/2009, -1/+7Man, isn't geek-love so much more charming when the geeks aren't ugly and broke?
- jmones, on 05/20/2009, -0/+6Why are you saying it like that?
- inactive, on 05/20/2009, -0/+5Somebody who's has a bigger career than you. :D
- rodrigo74, on 05/20/2009, -0/+5Mensa? Really? Give me a break.
http://www.calamitiesofnature.com/archive/index.ph ... - skcolb, on 05/20/2009, -0/+5I'd rather get her to the point where she could correct unnecessary apostrophes.
- Plotinus, on 05/20/2009, -0/+4get her into Babylon 5, Blakes 7 and linux to the point where she can correct programmer's. Then you'll be happy. And I am sublimely so (and it's only taken me almost 20years).
- sdub86, on 05/20/2009, -0/+4i bet you have lots of friends
/s - Philbert, on 05/20/2009, -0/+3Heh He just tweeted the bit about the red shirts a couple days ago:
http://twitter.com/wilw - PlanckTime, on 05/20/2009, -1/+4"Nerd-adjacent"
What a great term. I am going to have to remember that one. Simple, yet elegant (and nerdy). - TheInformer, on 05/20/2009, -1/+3He likes to talk to his wife about his hard drive as well.
- Killroy1971, on 05/20/2009, -0/+2Nice.
- elf25, on 05/20/2009, -0/+2My wife was not interested in anything sci-fi at all and had zero interest, yet, I got her totally hooked on BSG and Eureka. She knows all about trek stuff and some about SWars. She's knows more about Smallville than I do. It's not been 13 years but she's getting there and I'm proud of her advancements.
- cerejota, on 05/20/2009, -2/+4Trust me guys, it can happen to you. The best things is when she starts understanding XKCD. That was sweet.
- captainserial, on 05/20/2009, -0/+2I think your perspective is a little skewed. Only 51% of Americans have cable, much less watch the Sci-Fi channel.
- robotvsmonkey, on 05/20/2009, -0/+2Yeah, "the new Star Trek movie" isn't a show. You're different than nerdy.
- sockpuppets, on 05/20/2009, -3/+5He looks like #1 but he'll always be #2 to me.
- captainserial, on 05/20/2009, -1/+3The article headline says "Whil Wheaton's wife...", so when I say "mine", that means my wife. Plus from your user name I gather you're the one who likes puppets.
- FreshPineSent, on 05/20/2009, -9/+10Come on, everyone should be nicer to HWhil HWeaton.
- spriggig, on 05/21/2009, -0/+1...and fat.
- therightclique, on 05/20/2009, -7/+8Oh ***** you. Mensa meeting. Jesus ***** Christ.
- databyss, on 05/20/2009, -0/+1He would but all his would-be friends are reading XKCD... and he just doesn't get it.
- Plotinus, on 05/20/2009, -0/+1indeed. apologies. have dug you as poor grammar annoys me when I see it in others.
- sjbdallas, on 05/20/2009, -3/+4That's what she said.
- Jashobeam5, on 05/20/2009, -0/+1I had no idea digg users were that jealous of Mensa members.
- MacEnvy, on 05/20/2009, -0/+1Who *doesn't* like puppets?
- Moleygunn, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1What the hell is this? That article is about absolutely nothing. Wil Wheaton annoys me so much with his bashful nerd patter. What a gimp.
- FreshPineSent, on 05/21/2009, -0/+1What? His name is HWhil HWeaton.
- bghs2003, on 05/20/2009, -1/+2why do people care about Wil Wheaton and his wife?
- Crownclown213, on 05/20/2009, -1/+1Because he pulled a gun on Keifer Sutherland in "Stand By Me" which automatically makes him a badass.
- iheartwurdz, on 05/28/2009, -0/+0he wasn't bad in season four of NG
- Tubal22, on 05/20/2009, -5/+4Wil Wheaton has a wife?
- therightclique, on 05/20/2009, -2/+1You just described someone that isn't at all a geek.
- neo991lb, on 05/20/2009, -4/+2D&D is a waste of time.
- tskrilla, on 05/20/2009, -5/+3http://www.biomed.emory.edu/PROGRAM_SITES/NHS/pix/ ...
Much better looking than the Anne Wheaton I found - sockpuppets, on 05/20/2009, -7/+4You drew eyes on your hand?
- Barackalypse, on 05/20/2009, -8/+4Buried for not including a picture of this alleged "wife".
- bobangitanov2, on 05/20/2009, -5/+1I'd like to think that nerdy is different than stupid (which is what those shows are).
- therightclique, on 05/20/2009, -9/+4People that are brain dead can understand XKCD. It has about as much wit and intelligence as rotten ham.
