2) Do what cops say
3) Get tased...wait - david286, on 07/17/2009, -0/+22I hope he sued the hell out of those cops.
- newmanium2001, on 07/17/2009, -0/+21I wouldn't say he was compliant, but there should be some step of physicality between standing at a distance and requesting something and tasing the ***** of someone laying on their stomach.
- HCviolence, on 07/17/2009, -1/+18We have legalized a torture device which are being used by police officers not to subdue violent and dangerous criminals but to ensure obedience through pain towards anybody that the officer does not like. Monsters like these are treating citizens like criminals by default and destroying our freedom faster then any terrorist ever could.
But the real crime is that we have not done enough to stop it. Too few of us have let our voices go farther then internet comment systems. Join a protest, write a letter, or donate to groups that are trying to stop this because they will NEVER stop unless we make them. - BeShirtHappy, on 07/17/2009, -0/+8Nothing scarier than an ***** behind a badge...
- Rinzai, on 07/17/2009, -9/+1699% of cops are like this.
- glinsvad, on 07/17/2009, -0/+7Tasing is the new first base
- mooshcala, on 07/17/2009, -1/+7Dugg for the voice-over guy
- 17999, on 07/17/2009, -0/+5Once again:
I hope cops don't stay awake at night wondering why they're not more respected. The scene from Untouchables where Sean Connery meets Kevin Costner on the bridge and doesn't even check his ID for carrying a gun should be mandatory at every police academy and refresher training.
FFS, they need to use common sense and have enough balls not to be frakkin' robocops. - Ninh, on 07/17/2009, -0/+4Sue them for everything they have and everything they'll ever make and loyally send a postcard for xmas from your tropical island every year.
- soderl, on 07/17/2009, -0/+4Are 8 cops really needed for a single DUI stop?
- maxtangent, on 07/17/2009, -0/+4Wait for mandatory vaccinations.
Police zapping people to comply and criminal drug evasion will bring us in line with THX 1138. - cyberdork, on 07/17/2009, -1/+3Welcome to the police state.
- mythril, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1A resolute statement does not necessarily contain truth.
- david286, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1It must have been a slow night.
- NikoKun, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1If they weren't, they wouldn't have signed up for the job. -_-
The literally have to have the personality of bullies or crooks, to want to be cops.
Considering the video evidence, I think this guy would have a case for not only pressing charges for wrongful-whatever... But also personally suing the individual cops.
If not, that's how it SHOULD be anyway. - Shwaavay, on 07/17/2009, -5/+5I never thought about a taser as a torture device. It's sure the hell a lot worse than waterboarding.
How much press does this get? - mythril, on 07/17/2009, -6/+5"It's sure the hell a lot worse than waterboarding"
When you have video evidence that you have been tased and waterboarded then your claim might have some clout. - DittoMuch, on 07/17/2009, -0/+0even if they had an argument with him why pepper spray the passenger she did absolutely nothing.
- Shwaavay, on 07/17/2009, -4/+2No, I think I can can say quite resolutely that electricity is more painful than water.
But thanks for trying. - netferret, on 07/17/2009, -6/+4most cops were bullied as children.
