  • mrinternet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This reminds me, I won't mention the police force (in Texas). But in 1980, I was hired to teach self-defense (a cross of Military Jiu Jutsu, Krav Maga, and Judo) mainly to stop the bad guys taking their guns away from them. I was surprised VERY surprised, that this was a national problem in the US. The training books were then changed. I had a great time and some of the then cadets went to compete for the US National teams and became coaches as well.
