(oh and sorry it's all small and stuff.. dunno how that happened >. - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -10/+52It must've been really weird to act those out. All of those people running are ACTUALLY running backwards.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -4/+43I would like the see the un-reversed video just to see how they did that.
- vhold, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21"Cool video but this was on digg 6 months ago, don't you people ever read the site you submit this stuff to?"
We are more or less doomed to repeat certain things forever until the end of time because there will always be people who didn't see it the first time.
You can basically think of dupes as reruns.. as long as they are popular and people either havn't seen it or gotten sick of it, it's legitimate for it to float up to top. - iamdw, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21@candiru
That was "Drop" by Pharcyde... great video. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnn DROP
video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxxYFN2iObw - XtremePsionic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Wow, very cool indeed! I like how they added elements of monk like "kung fu" style into how they move the rocks, great job!
- olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -4/+19think about it again
- iamdw, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15erm, btw... i think the video is rather interesting and unique. just thought i'd try and save Captain Obvious' image.
- candiru, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12spike jonze did a bunch of work using backwards filming. i remember he did one for the music group Pharcyde and it was crazy cuz they lip synced the lyrics while they were doing it all backwards, and i think it was all one take too. not sure bout that though. someone find the video and post it. i cant find it =(.
- tamoneya, on 10/12/2007, -7/+15that takes a lot of skill
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Song credits (because it's damn hard to read):
Shamyo Ambient Version - Buddhist Monks
Mamzamilla - Vibrosphere
John Truscante - Murderers
Duke It - Western Rebel Alliance
Note that names may be slightly off because I'm only going by what I can see in the original video at Break.com, which is slightly larger than original link. - JROCKinAK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9That si a looc oediv ti yllaer dessem htiw ym daeh, kanht uoy os hcum
- friend18, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Why are there two break logos overlapping eachother?
- rpike, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11john2kx, who do you think made the rock piles for them to push over...?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6cool video but they sure have a rock stacking fetish.
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Coldplay - The Scientist:

Not quite the same, but good. - Aldrenean, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7(putting this here so it gets seen...)
Direct link: http://view.break.com/139800 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Here's a similar one that my friend made that's a bit _less_ mellow. Maybe not as clever, though.

- DJMD, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7@ PolarPyro
LMAO, the original footages looks, as WhoAteMyDig would put it, "stupid as *****".
Its just a bunch of guys knocking over piles of rock and running backwards =) - Character0, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9I would really like for you to explain to me how that was "super Jewish" because that video in no way has anything to do with Judaism or religion for that matter.
- RomeyRome, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9God?
- PackerX, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Subtitle: Jedi Camping Trip
- shortkid422, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Yes, it's John Frusciante. The guitar tabs for it are quite easy, fun song to play!
- Rachmaninoff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4So awesome...I loved the rocks "jumping" out of the water onto the fallen tree and when he "caught" the rocks on his feet.
- Mike89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3PolarPyro posted this above:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE3OCoLQ0cI - squelart, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Reminds me of the Top Secret sequence in the bookshop, all filmed in reverse. It looks ok when you watch it, apart from some 'cool' effects like throwing a book and it goes neatly on top of the shelf... Then you see a dog walk backward. :-)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088286/ - Antitorgo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wow... All those comments before someone mentioned the effect done in Twin Peaks. Man, that made the whole "red room" thing so incredibly creepily cool.
Way better than the stuff done in this video because they even learned their lines backwards so that played in reverse it was forward but "off". - MrSunshine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I did a backwards scene once too for a friend's video, drinking from a bottle and walking, it doesn't really need much skills to do that. We did it in one take and I could some of my flaws afterwards, 2 or 3 tries more and you have it so it's believable.
Here's another backwards one by God Lives Underwater:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjtDZ82oZB8 - sephiroth965, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2except most of the time when they run they are looking behind them...
- spect3r, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5^ And their walking looks super creepy... something you'd expect in the ring :)
- pixelmixer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6"super Jewish" .... people still say that? I thought that little comment went out of style a few years ago.... eh... ;p
- PolarPyro, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6There's Also: Jack Johnson - Sitting Waiting Wishing
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3791213631131402102&q=sitting+waiting+wishing - ralfyx, on 10/12/2007, -15/+17whoatemydigg, they had to go backwards so it would look they go forward when the video is played in reverse. Think again before making a comment again.
- Antitorgo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Here's what I'm talking about - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMXjjHFz__A
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3With a bit of Limewirin' I found that it's actually "John FRUSCIANTE"
"John Frusciante - Murderers" is the song that plays out the video before the credits roll. - MrSidnet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Im sure its too late now, but watching it reversed (where they do everything Naturally, as posted on YouTube) kinda ruined it for me. I thought it was much cooler the way it was posted, and seeing it reversed again just took away from it.
- iamexcite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The Frusciante song is "Murderers" from the album "To Record Only Water for Ten Days." Definitely pick that album up if you're into his solo work.
As shortkid mentioned it's a pretty easy/fun song to play. - justncase80, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5This is a really old video but its still good.
- kevyn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the dude wants to be a jedi
waaaaaay to many star wars films has he seen.
but cool video though, there was a music video once with a guy "walking his trainers" i think it was M. Gondry directed it - it was awesome - Wandel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The creators homepage, if anyone cares:
http://www.senseistudios.com/ - Antitorgo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Oh man... even better - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMiXphbCR04
- monkeyman08854, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1
That was a really cool idea. The fact that it wasn't CGI added to its allure. I don't think the question is, "Is it the coolest thing I've seen?", I think its, "Could i do the same thing without their method or a computer?" - onlynameicanget, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2One of the coolest parts is around 4:26, where the guy jumps on top of the rock formation as it's being "formed". Neat video!
- Aldrenean, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2owwww... the diggeffect... it hurts... :(
- shortkid422, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Does anyone know what the last song (before the credits) in that video is? The text was too hard to read. Thanks!
- fjacky66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1cool video.
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Was on Breat twice? I don't know.. :D
- yahoofrom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok this is surreal.
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://www.hyperionics.com/ - This software will let you capture the video as an avi and then you can use final cut or whatever to flip it round.
