- Godwhacker, on 07/17/2008, -2/+83Global elite wondering around the woods in red KKK robes worshiping at the feet of a 40' tall Babylonian owl god while participating in mock human sacrifices - come on people, you couldn't make this stuff up! No wonder the world is soooooo screwed.
- Cadenzah, on 07/17/2008, -1/+58Alex Jones managed to sneak in with a hidden camera. Their "rituals" are really ***** weird
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZD3WT3Vqa8 - morningmatters, on 07/16/2008, -4/+54From the article : "They spoke of "fairy unguents" that would free men to pursue warm fellowship, and I was reminded of something Herman Wouk wrote about the Grove: 'Men can decently love each other; they always have, bur women never quite understand.'"
This sounds like a support group for ex-gay fundamentalist types. - brstilson, on 07/17/2008, -3/+41"The Bohemian Grove, that I attend from time to time — the (inaudible) and the others come there — but it is the most faggy goddamn thing that you would ever imagine. The San Francisco crowd that goes in there, it's just terrible. I can't even shake hands with anybody from San Francisco." - Richard Nixon
- gcnaddict, on 07/17/2008, -5/+40"a private men's club in northern California for the upper echelon of the rich and powerful that has an annual super secret retreat in July. Nixon was a member, but called it 'most faggy goddamn thing that you would ever imagine.'"
This sounds like my cousin's description of the Free Masons - ChayesFSS, on 07/17/2008, -6/+33gay called, it's for you
- Redzin, on 07/17/2008, -2/+27It isn't made up... it's old news actually.
A journalist called Alex Jones investigated it a couple of years ago and actually got fotage of the stone owl.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-820959177 ... - ProjectGSX, on 07/17/2008, -4/+27what. the. *****.
- bosssmiley, on 07/17/2008, -0/+21At last! A proper cabal secretly lording it over us while propitiating their ancient demon-gods with unholy pagan rites. About time!
Hierocracy you can believe in. - Cadenzah, on 07/17/2008, -0/+19So? Their ritual is still ***** weird. Does it matter if Alex Jones films it or some guy from Vanity Fair?
- travis6690, on 07/17/2008, -1/+18Somebody tried to sneak in? Anyone with half a brain would get the ***** out of there as fast as possible.
- radish01001, on 07/17/2008, -2/+16I think it's hilarious that people are so mystified as to what goes on at the Grove.
As someone who has worked there for the past 3 years, I can tell you nothing mysterious or unusual ever goes on. Want the truth? Here it is: Bohemian Grove is essentially filled with alcoholic men for the entire 3 week encampment. (There is another event earlier in the year called Spring Jinks which is just 1 weekend, which is also filled with the same caliber of man). It's basically just a big party for the entire 3 weeks. The mega wealthy and famous usually fly in for the weekend parts, and then fly back out during the week.
It is literally a bunch of dudes that hang out all day drinking, going to various activities, and rushing to the dining areas when it's time to eat. It's just a 3 week long party pretty much....and the wealthy and powerful use it as an excuse to get away. - FrenchAnarchy, on 07/17/2008, -1/+14But what about the Giant Homosexual Owl and sequined robes?
- SRSco, on 07/17/2008, -0/+11Except when Alex Shoumatoff's title with Vanity Fair is Senior Contributing Editor. Then, in this case: Vanity Fair writer = Vanity Fair editor.
- audiooeric, on 07/17/2008, -3/+14Fairies, Rhinestones, Bodysuits, Plumbers, and Security Guards, OH MY!
SIGN ME UP! - SRSco, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10Richard Nixon's take on Bohemian Grove: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPb-PN9F2Pc
- Godwhacker, on 07/17/2008, -1/+11"Is it really a big deal if the leaders who send our troops into wars participate in mock human sacrifices?" That would be a better question for you to ask. I don't care what they do in bed.
- mrtrevin, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10What, would you prefer lolcatz or something?
- WiretapStudios, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10Link to thesis or it didn't happen.
- vexingmodstwo, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10Whoa. There's hundreds of em. WTF?
- AtheismFTW, on 07/16/2008, -2/+11You mean, like Ted Faggard?
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -1/+10Like W's "Monica Moment"?

2nd link about Jeff (NSFW)
http://www.americablog.com/2005/02/man-called-jeff ... - charlietuna, on 07/17/2008, -2/+11Gee, old Dick Nixon can't be all bad if he said that.
- nomadxx7, on 07/17/2008, -0/+8You mean for groups of men who have a lot of power, come from different sectors of business and alone can come up with backroom agreements? I'm all for organizations but this borderlines on some sort of monopolies or at least tampering with a free market. When you have one guy at the head of a major institution (i.e. Big Oil) and another guy on the investigative border and they are buddies from this BG, this just doesn't seem right.
- Locnar, on 07/17/2008, -2/+10Are you sure you didn't mistake this as a episode of Southpark?
"Stan and Kyle 's dads find themselves involved in a gay owl worshipping cult.. next week on southpark" - Godwhacker, on 07/17/2008, -0/+7I fully agree - the evidence that this organization follows some truly freakish rituals has been out there, even before Alex Jones studied it. I'm just saying that the reality of it all is even stranger than any fiction.
- Prototek, on 07/17/2008, -0/+7Alex mentions going to Bohemian Grove on Diggnation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxlgKHCZeNU - Paktu, on 07/17/2008, -4/+11Is it really that big of a deal if a few rich people want to form a vaguely homosexual club?
- iceperson, on 07/17/2008, -7/+14I'm not sure "journalist" would be the best word to describe Alex Jones...
- ybnormalman, on 07/17/2008, -2/+9Super secret retreat? Seriously?
- DreKor, on 07/17/2008, -0/+7If you get rid of the global elite part, it sounds like pledge week at your local college campus.
- eryximachus, on 07/17/2008, -9/+15When our economy collapses, these clubs will be easy targets.
The elite that congregate at these places are the ones who have gutted this nation, and membership to these organizations should be grounds for banishment. Secret societies and their members have no place in a civilized society. - soinie, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6God forbid if the reporter saw a well known industrialist on his knees sucking off one of our illustrious legislatures.
- Rotzooi, on 07/17/2008, -3/+9Kevin and Alex were there, right?
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6And what about all the dick sucking that goes on...supposedly? I mean, Nixon must have seen some pretty faggy goddamned stuff or he wouldn't have said so.
- swrostmore, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6Network TV Analyst and former Presidential Adviser David Gergen's take on Bohemian Grove:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32z6Cw21OAk - VitriolAndAngst, on 07/17/2008, -1/+6LOL. Another bit of evidence showing that Alex Jones is correct used as evidence that "hey, this is Alex Jones."
When everyone is wearing tin-foil-hats, what will the unreasonable people be wearing?
Alex Jones doesn't get it right all the time, but he has as good a track record as the "real" media outlets, and what he is talking about is a lot more important than Brittany's latest binge. - ruforealz, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5Hey kevin here's your owl:
http://www.truthalliance.net/Portals/0/Archive/Com ... - Spoomeister, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4Dugg for owl-god worship.
I have a poster of Rush's "Fly By Night" album cover. If I worship that, can I be in the club too? - xiambax, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5More like satanic ***** club.
- Bodhinature, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5Sounds like where the super rich meet up to feel good about themselves for raping the natural world and its inhabitants.
- SteveSgt, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4There's evidence (from tree shadow angles) that this place has been edited out of Google Earth:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=g ... - DrunkenDigger, on 07/17/2008, -4/+8The rich can love each other homosexually as well!
- WaveformAlpha, on 07/17/2008, -4/+8Hey Hazeydew...I just read that Ginsberg poem a few nights back. Moloch is creepy, though. This super-secret society thing shouldn't surprise folks - clubs such as this have existed for centurires, where ever folks "in the Know" about something feel the need to keep their esoteric powers or knowledge or access or privilege covert and clandestine. Look at the KKK for a completely-real word example right within the bowels of modern America. I remember one meeting of a secret society I attended years and years ago...I was invited by a painter I knew in Italy to go to this "happening" as they would later be described. I was offered the chance to drink from this chalice that supposedly contianed fluidic powder from a falling star (we'd later know these as meteors) and I did. Things have been VERY long-winded ever since, but THAT is another story. What compells me to respond to this article is the whole quasi-homoerotic aspect of it all. Like the Barb Kruger collage about white men needing to construct elaborate social rituals in order to touch each other (wrestling, in her collage), some white folks mainly are so uptight that they have to trick themselves in to thinking it's even okay to hug another fellow of the same sex. Silly silly republican-silly. Archimedes had a much better take on it than 'modern' man.
- Anteros, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5Most of these secret clubs and society's usually turn out to be incredibly boring.
- DreKor, on 07/17/2008, -1/+5What? You never joined a frat in college? This sounds pretty similar, a bunch of guys with booze and drugs in the woods.
- one2gamble, on 07/17/2008, -2/+6thats awesome
- obliviousfool, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4He certainly doesn't look that way at Laura!
- positron, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4Alex has attended with his father. Don't think Kevin is part of the club though.
- Cougnut415, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3^ Agreed. This really sounds like something that would be in South Park.
