- feb420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+157Good thing that guy had two little sticks to protect himself with. I'm sure he's fine.
- samuelcotterall, on 10/12/2007, -3/+88I read it as "Tiger on elephant attacks man".
That would be great teamwork. - stevelucky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+80"How do you think this ends?"
i would love to know, but they cut the video just as it was getting interesting. - SweetMercury, on 10/12/2007, -1/+71@robber:
We're soft, fur-less, meaty, and have no horns or claws or anything else to get in the way. We're practically popcorn chicken for tigers. - artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -3/+42"Quick, Ahmed, throw the stick!"
Idiot, tigers live in India not the Middle East. - nbhagwat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Wow... This footage is from Corbett National Park in India. I have been there... sat on an elephant.. and seen tigers... never thought one would attack an elephant. Usually, tigers are shy and will simply leave if the elephants get too close. But the Mahouts (the guys who controls the elephant) will try to corner the tiger with multiple elephants so that they can get a closer view (and so that the tourists give them big tips). I guess this guy pushed the tiger over the limit.
- Cloned, on 10/12/2007, -1/+34This is actually kind of a scary thing that is happening. For years people have ridden on elephants because tigers would never ***** with an elephant. You get real close to a tiger on an elephant and it would act as if you didn't even exist. Now they seem to be learning that there are people on top of those elephants. Although this could be good for the tigers, seeing as how a lot of poachers hunt on elephants. Who knows what these guys were doing.
- ZoomBoy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26What? No gangster rap in this version of the clip?
Anyways, I remember seeing this clip a few months ago, and someone from that area of India spoke up in the comments. He said the government pays these guys on elephants to go into the surrounding areas of villages and fish out these female tigers that eat livestock, attack humans, etc. They usually never attack the men on the elephants because they know the elephants will kill them.
So with this particular clip, the tiger dragged the guy off of the elephant, then the female elephant crushed the tiger and saved the mans life - I believe he had to have his leg amputated though. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24@robber
you tell that to the tiger. - ambiguus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+26yeah, i like the guy with the camera's idea better: protect yourself with another guy who has two little sticks. you don't have to be faster than the tiger chasing you and your friend, just faster than you friend :)
- HalFTW, on 10/12/2007, -7/+27Ahmed is an Arabic name. Try an Indian name.
- HHP2K, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21stfu, retard.
- mindsnare, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20fantastic footage. Shows you just how good they are at hiding, I didn't know where to look. And the muscles on the thing when it leaps, amazing.
- enivid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18That teamwork makes me think of Strongbad's "Bear holding a shark":

- aloser, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14E cheers for byslexia!
- ravan46, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I never have seen how this ends. Does anyone have a clip that goes past 35 sec?
- vizerei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12"/just kidding"
I'm not. - HHP2K, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Probably exactly what the dude on the elephant was thinking while it was coming at him to steal his face. :)
- kalleanka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I'm pretty sure he got a really good tip this time!
- mal1964, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13he mistook the elephant as the worlds largest ball of twine

/laughter - feb420, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I'm pretty sure I can guess how it ends.
- dcoxen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Would he have been able to defend against this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbbVxkMRqXA&NR=1 - gaurav4u99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7This happened in Assam, India. The elephant saved the guys on them. She was trained to defend against tiger. When tiger attacked and fell back to the ground, the elephant put her foot on tiger's neck just enough to stop him from attacking. Then the tiger was captured. No one was hurt.
Btw Tigress was angry because two of her cubs were missing since two days. - ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7"DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Video shows nothing more of the attack. Video is 99% footage of a tiger walking aroung drinking water from a creek."
... - vizerei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Thanks for the info:)
- mal1964, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8@steve
"How do you think this ends?"
"i would love to know, but they cut the video just as it was getting interesting."
tiger kills both of them, as he walks back to the bush he turns to the other horrified on lookers with his paw pointing to the sky and says theirrrrrrrrrrrrr grrrreeatttttttttttt! - HayString, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I bet that dude's ***** was so tight you couldn't fit a toothpick in it.
- Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8i'm in ur rice paddys maulin ur mahouts
- wisam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Amazing. I had to take a still.
http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/706/snapshot1au0.jpg - m3mn0n, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Actually, Ahmed is also a popular Muslim name. It's not specific to Arab countries. And there is Tigers in Pakistan. Pakistan is a Muslim nation. And there are more Muslims in India than there are in Pakistan.
But to the clown, that joke was lame because you used the wrong stereotypical name, moron. Ahmed would be more appropriate for a guy in the desert being attacked by a camel. A better name for this guy would've been "Apu" maybe. - ryanscott, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5thanks for the help elephant >_>
- Stiverton, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6That tiger punched him right in the dick.
- richvisual, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'm not concerned about the fella because it's just natures way but I'm really impressed with that leap, how high was that? 9 feet, 10? that tiger was flying, impressive power!
- haqattaq, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7someone buy it and post the outcome already...
- SilentSpyder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Got a link to any article? I find it hard to believe the elephant saved the guy (on purpose).
- ivosilva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Even if the guy lived, judging by where the tiger placed is paw during the attack, I'd rather be dead... ;)
- chucksmooth, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5if that happened in the wild it would have been cool to see, but in a cage it's just sad
- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Would be a much more awesome clip if what was happening in it wasn't lost in a sea of compression artifacts.
- ideefix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4check out tiger vs crocodile http://videoegg.blogspot.com/2006/02/croc-vs-tiger.html
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That was Chuck Norris showing off his ninja Tiger Style
- soulsolution, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Well, I guess the fact that the video was cut off abruptly pretty much explains how the vid ended!
- gaurav4u99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It is Assam(Kaziranga) not Corbett.
- GreenGrassyNoel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I saw images from this video in a National Geographic several months ago. Apparently tiger attacks are very rare, and this was the only video ever taken of a tiger in the wild attacking a human. (I apologize if i remember that incorrectly). As someone else said, it's amazing how you can't see it at all until it leaps up. Lion King style.
- crash999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bwahaha... good one!
- seangp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Please tell me you are joking.
- Catchpen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That kinda reminded me of the Velociraptor scene in GeJurassoutofthe Park II
