- inactive, on 08/05/2008, -1/+22Arrested Development, if you don't like it, you're wrong.
- ayeroxor, on 08/05/2008, -0/+18"I have nothing to life for"
You could finish that 3rd-grade English class you dropped out of... - 3drage, on 08/04/2008, -0/+14Another person fooled by the onion.
- fearlessfx, on 08/05/2008, -2/+14The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions made me want to die as well.
- supermanred, on 08/05/2008, -0/+12Not in the non-US part of the world it isn't.
- PabloIV, on 08/05/2008, -2/+12When I die I'll regret never having followed Lost
- Soulbow2, on 08/05/2008, -1/+10Read the article next time bud. And check where it's coming from.
- LowROI, on 08/05/2008, -0/+7When you're done check out the UK office, and be sure to "buy" the Christmas special.
- shutaro, on 08/04/2008, -0/+6Happy.
- Smokeydabear, on 08/04/2008, -2/+8The complete season of Firefly is on Amazon.com today for only $17.99 under the today's deals section.
- TheKrillr, on 08/05/2008, -0/+4So, what's so funny about this? I have several things like this on my to-do list to do in my life (though it isn't as high on the list as traveling and such). Despite what many would lead you to believe, T.V. in most respects is simply a modern art form similar to old theater. Yes, there's a lot of ***** on T.V. -- there's also a lot of ***** plays, musicals, songs, books, etc. Do we make fun of someone for saying they want to visit the Sydney Opera House?
Let's stop this "T.V. is crap" thing everyone is doing these days. T.V. is more than simple mindless entertainment, its a way for writers and actors to express themselves creatively. And a lot of shows, like Monk, Battlestar Galactic, Stargate, Doctor Who, CSI, etc... have deep plots that keep you thinking, educate you in many things, and don't "rot your brain."
That's my two cents. What's yours? - neko6, on 08/05/2008, -1/+4@Thater - Just because its the onion doesn't mean u can invent things and post them as facts...
- arobar, on 08/05/2008, -1/+4Bury the article if you don't like it. If it stays on Digg, you know what that means? It means that the popular vote disagrees with you. If you don't like the system, use a site that you do enjoy.
- Murdats, on 08/05/2008, -0/+3he needed to tighten up his life? would a belt help that?
- JFallon126, on 08/05/2008, -0/+3Amen.
- KingGorilla, on 08/05/2008, -0/+2I'll meet you at that big yellow joint in heaven.
- DontGameDigg, on 08/05/2008, -0/+2You're right. Digg is yesterday's news... TODAY!
- Zihuatanejo, on 08/05/2008, -0/+2This is pretty spot on. I definitely somehow feel accomplished after finishing a season of a television show even though I just wasted about 20 hours of my life.
- lamiaconfitor, on 08/05/2008, -3/+5I wont.
- numeka, on 08/05/2008, -0/+2Dugg for Veronica Mars.
- faceless323, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1House is awesome even though my favorite hospital show is SCRUBS.
- InvisibleVoice, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1The Sopranos is a must.
- DontGameDigg, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1"And I need to finish about a half-dozen seasons of The Simpsons."
If it would've been real, I would've felt bad that the guy wasted some of his remaining life on watching a once truly legendary show that has gone down the ***** since almost 10 years ago. - BNash577, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3Heil, mein Führer!
- PabloIV, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3It's on Hulu for free.
- JFallon126, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1Not every episode.
- tom957, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3i almost got fooled.
- kh99, on 08/05/2008, -1/+2But you don't understand - people who spend their entire lives in front of the computer making stupid comments have to put down people who watch TV (even if they're fictional) in a desperate attempt to make their lives feel a little less useless.
- Thater, on 08/05/2008, -3/+4I hear the French and German versions of the Office are pretty good as well.
Although the Japanese will always be the best since it was the original. - embryodb, on 08/06/2008, -0/+1this problem IS one of the serious!
- grneye53, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1f**k the list and just "KICK THE BUCKET" already !
- QuantumSingular, on 08/05/2008, -4/+5After the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions I wasn't sure what else I had to live for.... a short time later I discovered porn.
- sodade, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1I've had way too many grumpy old family members who only cared about their blaring television for the last years of their lives. Euthanasia was standard practice in some cultures for a good reason. I will end my life before I come to this and my family will thank me for it.
- DontGameDigg, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1Says a person who posts to digg with a username of dildo. You must live the high life.
- Hanselel, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1That is so going to be me one day ^^
- ufee, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1Cinema > Television.
No commercials, higher quality.
But I will agree, there are some things on T.V worth watching, it's just that the quality stuff is vastly outnumbered by the crap. - inactive, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1i must be dead
i never watch tv - JHW539, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1But only season 1. For the love of god, stop after season 1.
- Browzer, on 08/05/2008, -2/+2I have the exact same reaction as you guys do. In fact, I stopped reading The Onion because it was so depressing. I think it's a great site, but a lot of it hits too close to home for me.
- davilliu, on 08/06/2008, -0/+0it is bad for man !~!~so the bisexual are happy !~!they don't have sex difference!~!~!but many expert said they will face another problem that how they multiply in (#BIGBISEXUAL.C O M#)!~!THIS problem is one of the serious!~!
- noahgelman, on 08/05/2008, -2/+2Dugg for House
- faceless323, on 08/05/2008, -1/+1you're doing it wrong
- zip000, on 08/05/2008, -1/+1I don't see a comma splice.
Comma splices are when you conjoin two separate independent clauses into one sentence like I'm about to do now, AntzNZ just has bad comma usage, there is barely one independent clause in that sentence, much less two.
(Yes, I know I used horrible grammar in my sentence above; it was an example.) - ayeroxor, on 08/05/2008, -2/+2That's odd. When I die, I'll regret the few episodes of Lost that I accidentally channel-surfed onto.
- WickEd101, on 08/05/2008, -2/+1So why not just watch it?
- LokitheComplex, on 08/05/2008, -3/+2Sometimes? They regularly have utterly stories depressing. I still like them but maybe I'm a bit sick. I think they're more cathartic than funny. Kind of poignant. They are maybe in place of something else in our culture. Something deeper.
- WinMacLin, on 08/05/2008, -6/+5Sometimes the onion stories are really sad. QQ
- Merp08, on 08/05/2008, -3/+1Battlestar Galactica.....
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd:
THE DARK KNIGHT..... FIVE TIMES. - lamiaconfitor, on 08/05/2008, -5/+3@ supermanred, there are ways around that... welcome to the internet, buddy.
