- BeyondVision, on 11/16/2009, -3/+220I totally agree. Not only there is Calvin in every child, but there is Calvin in some grown ups too.
- fatalvaux, on 11/10/2009, -3/+142too cute. it's a shame more kids nowadays don't read calvin and hobbes
- PrideThruPwnage, on 11/10/2009, -0/+130One of the true joys of my life is sitting down with one of the Complete Calvin and Hobbes books and just enjoying it... I'm 32 now with a 1 year old of my own, but it takes me back to the times of being a kid again... Makes me truly happy, but always a bit depressed cause i feel old... :) :(
- ldsan, on 11/10/2009, -0/+118Dugg for C&H.
My 6th grade teacher turned me onto them. She let me borrow all the books. Coolest teacher ever. - ileftfark, on 11/10/2009, -2/+89Hell, I stopped reading at "My 6th grade teacher turned me on..."
This place wears on you. - ravedigger, on 11/10/2009, -1/+88I think I spend too much time on Digg. My first reaction to your mention of "C&H" was "This isn't a Cyanide and Happiness comic."
- AngryDeuce, on 11/10/2009, -2/+83Calvin & Hobbes, best comic strip of all time!!
- MechaMurloc, on 11/10/2009, -1/+64It's a shame more kids don't read.
- squishee, on 11/10/2009, -0/+63A similar thing happened to me at a party over the weekend. I saw a dude who had "IRL" written on the back of his shirt, so I chuckled and was going to go over and nerd it up with him when he turned around and I saw that the front of his shirt said "Ireland." :-/
- cdnbmatt, on 11/10/2009, -8/+55Good! Buried down to hell where it should be. Pedobear has a time and place but don't you dare touch Calvin & Hobbes!
- Ighuc, on 11/10/2009, -1/+47Keep him away from psychiatrists!
http://calvinhobbesritalin.ytmnd.com/ - alecb, on 11/10/2009, -1/+44You'd be surprised by the looks I get when I tell people I'm moving to the Yukon with my stuffed tiger.
- Norse77, on 11/11/2009, -1/+35No, it's a shame that Calvin somehow got associated with a pic of him pissing on a Ford, Chevy what have you logo and giving the finger. How the ***** did that happen, if anyone knows who started that, tell I want to punch him. Calvin and Hobbes is a great comedy duo that should be shown to all. I am reading the comment below me and it's true for Christmas every year I would buy the new book for my sister, she too also has the entire collection.
- clarient, on 11/10/2009, -0/+32Saddest thing I've seen all day.
- BookaShade, on 11/10/2009, -1/+30ill digg Calvin and Hobbes every time.
Started reading Calvin and Hobbes when I was in 2nd grade. I haven't stopped reading books since. - alecb, on 11/10/2009, -0/+29The first thing my child is getting when he/she can read is my full collection of Calvin & Hobbes books. I got every one of em.
- ducksgoquak, on 11/10/2009, -0/+29Wow... that actually made me cry a little inside.
- TrevorBradley, on 11/10/2009, -1/+29*Every* child, damnit.

- OptionalPirate, on 11/10/2009, -5/+29Buried for being a stupid *****.
- Lefts, on 11/10/2009, -1/+24It's a shame that I have no shame.
- hshadow914, on 11/10/2009, -1/+23Buy the complete book, but since it isn't always handy:
http://www.marcellosendos.ch/comics/ch/index.html - serif69, on 11/10/2009, -3/+24dugg you down so I could digg you up twice.

- OmNomNomBACON, on 11/10/2009, -5/+18I counted one child.
- sd2001, on 11/10/2009, -0/+12I have it. It's a pain to haul out sometimes, so it's kind of reserved for boring, rainy Sundays.
And I don't let anyone else put their greasy hands on the pages.
At all. - squ1sh, on 11/11/2009, -0/+12To be honest, Hobbes would probably Maul pedobear. No one ***** with his best buddy.
...cept Susie. - TheMu, on 11/11/2009, -2/+12"unabashed childlike whimsy", lol, more like "My parents sat me down in front of the camera and made me do this so they could post it on the internet."
Still, pretty cute. Dugg. - gmacnay, on 11/10/2009, -0/+9I still have mine at almost 42 yrs old and three kids. It was a sad day when that strip ended.
- UselessTrivia, on 11/10/2009, -0/+8Same here, though my books are all scattered between my house and my parents, and most are in pretty bad condition. Fortunately those works are immortal and I can always buy new editions.
My kids will get C&H at least by age 6, which is when I started. Earlier if they have the reading comprehension skills to absorb it.
That comic strip shaped my developing brain in ways I never realized until I was an adult. - inactive, on 11/10/2009, -1/+9brilliant commentary sir, dugg
- speshul, on 11/11/2009, -0/+7just look forward to when your kid is old enough to enjoy it.

- UselessTrivia, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7Best comic strip of all time. Hands down.
- EnTaroTassadar, on 11/10/2009, -0/+7Amen.
- RandyF, on 11/11/2009, -0/+6My 7yo loves to read comic anthologies. He has been working his way through the Dilbert books (not that he really gets it, but he loves them).
I'm getting him the C&H boxed set as soon at they show up at Costco for the Christmas Season. - currentTVforall, on 11/11/2009, -2/+8Its funny when your racist because it shows your lack of education.
- CK20XX, on 11/11/2009, -0/+6"Standing in front of a mirror to sketch this strip, I was glad I work in the privacy of my own home."
- Bill Watterson - oathy, on 11/11/2009, -0/+5Let's go exploring.
- erikislame, on 11/11/2009, -3/+8Babyman sucks *****.
- heavyj1970, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5Now how many Digg parents will try to get their kids to do this? I will. :)
