Buried. Inaccurate. - chanop, on 04/25/2008, -3/+64He should have worn a popped collar int he picture.....or maybe 5 popped collars
- unicronband, on 04/25/2008, -2/+40Goddamit Cargo8, sack up and give us a ***** update. You owe us that much.
- weizilla, on 04/25/2008, -0/+38no one's cool enough to be able to handle 5 popped collars
- IHaveIssues, on 04/25/2008, -2/+34So, has the "Don't stay a virgin" girl had a Digg front page submission? Seems like a perfect fit.
- bradrichmond, on 04/25/2008, -2/+28More like, "online community brings epic rejection."
- Shadowgamers, on 04/25/2008, -3/+19'whose name, address, Facebook and more were eventually revealed in the thread of hundreds of comments'
Internet. - sublimemm, on 04/25/2008, -1/+15no no, four is enough to be the biggest douche ever
- Enron1985, on 04/25/2008, -1/+15First you get the money, then you get the power, THEN you get the women.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/25/2008, -0/+11And you guessed he was a nice guy because of his small amount of posts on digg and a picture? He could have been a socially awkward annoying little brat in real life.
- thcobbs, on 04/25/2008, -0/+9but they would all have to be different colors.
- badenglishihave, on 04/25/2008, -1/+9Crud. I was gonna post that, it's the first thing that jumped out at me.
- 10scott10, on 04/25/2008, -0/+8she is actually rather good looking, but you guys keep thinking that
- MBHockey, on 04/25/2008, -5/+13how anyone could think this was a good idea is beyond me. you guys need to get out more.
- chrgrose, on 04/25/2008, -1/+7Do not pass go. Go directly to front page.
- chrgrose, on 04/25/2008, -1/+6Now now chief, I'm in the ***** zone!
- natdowner, on 04/25/2008, -0/+5I must be one of the few that missed the don't stay a virgin movement... I'm literally blown away that someone would offer sex in exchange for support for an issue haha... but the terms of service on that girls page is hilarious!
- Phearce, on 04/25/2008, -2/+7Learn. English.
- lamiaconfitor, on 04/25/2008, -1/+6ummm... the jerks who leaked all her personal info killed it. total ***** internerd stalkers.
- surKaz, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4True.. *Googles Space Monkey Zero*.... Dang!
- surKaz, on 04/25/2008, -1/+5You know what, so, he got rejected (assuming from the little info I have, thanks to the internet). It's no big deal. people get rejected all the time..I'm sure I don't have to say that here, of all places..
I'm sure he's fine...as are most (normal) rejected people, sure they might feel bad for a bit.. then they pick-up and go.. - SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4She shouldn't have used her real name on her digg profile. People need to learn to at least attempt to keep their real names off the internet.
- MCBowelmovement, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4Hey cool, you work for msnbc! What do you do? "Awww... it's *****' awesome! All I do is go browse this website for nerds, it's called digg or something, then I summarize all the stuff I see on a couple pages, then it's off to booze! The suckers at msnbc don't have a clue I do zero to no work!" You *****' sneaky prince, you.
- surKaz, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4Oh.. I just saw the 'Denied' article.. *Sigh*.
- SimmaDownNow, on 04/25/2008, -3/+6Everything Digg swings at fails. Ron Paul, Barack Obama, this hopeless nerd, and countless other online petitions. I just hope that evolution, Apple, and The Pirate Bay can survive this ridiculous batting average.
- ha1f, on 04/25/2008, -0/+3The guys asks people to bury his story because he was more than likely rejected...
And now he's on msnbc... Bravo, internet, bravo. - bamafun, on 04/25/2008, -6/+9I agree at least the guy tried to get a prom date =)
- Hraes, on 04/25/2008, -0/+3I'm as cynical as the next guy, but, uh... Barack Obama's failing?
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/25/2008, -0/+3Well, this kid sure wasn't. His hair wasn't spikey enough.
- dagmar31, on 04/25/2008, -2/+5What effort? He took a few pictures and begged diggers to digg...
Trust me, there are plenty more romantic ways to ask. - jc7012, on 04/25/2008, -1/+3THE INTERNET IS REAL LIFE!!
- surKaz, on 04/25/2008, -1/+3I wonder what happened, and what resulted from that submission? Anyone?
- ktk1336, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2It's not that it isn't "romantic" enough. I had no idea that was the case. Now that you've put the bait out there - please divulge the details. I'm DYING to know what the story is.
- comat0se, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2I like his skeletor fingers
- kurtwinter, on 04/25/2008, -1/+3Maybe because that awkward kid needs to grow a pair and actually *ask* a girl. Who does he think he his? Bob Dylan? INXS? Asking that cute girl at Chess club out is a life changing experience for nerds* (*Yes, the girl I took the prom I did meet at Chess club)
- Jaliyl, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2"I know what you said...but this is my last ditch effort.
What do you think?"
That is the shout he sent her about the Prom proposal article.
Based on that it seems she had already said no to him beforehand. Not so heroic now eh? - hilo4321, on 04/25/2008, -1/+3what the ***** is that website? it looks like someone took a bunch of digg stories and compiled them into an "article". surely that is not main stream news...
- bigolblob, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1No he is a fail.
- soccerman90, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1that fails, i just found out that there are no vocals
- WikiEasy, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1Chuck Norris
- stellamaris, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1It's not that girls like *****, it's just that when nice guys (nerds) show that the like us immediately, they tend to come on too strong. We like being chased, and too many nice guys don't know how to do that. And I haven't been following this story at all, but I can tell you that the above poster is right - prom is serious business, for girls at least. So much effort goes into that one night, and we want it to be perfect, which it won't be if you don't have a good date (trust me, I went to three proms and only had fun at one).
- TheWindBlows, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1Nerd Giveth You "[Insert Fad App Here]" and Taketh your "[Insert Crap Massively Used App Here]",
- davidsetagaya, on 04/25/2008, -2/+3looking at the pictures of this guy, it's obvious by the padded blocks on his "bedroom" wall that he's either in a mental institution or a low security prison. Please DON'T encourage his delusions by digging him up and giving him hope about getting a date. I'm worried for his safety.
- Kohaxx, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1What is this, the 5 minute summary of the internet this week!? I was hoping for some actual details in the prom guy story not just a statement of what everyone already knew.
- soccerman90, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1did anyone see the link to where you can download the new gnarls barkley cd, but its all backwards?
- stellamaris, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1What can I say, I love sweeping generalizations!
- Futurejunior, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1Skilled and savvy? Whoa, I'm putting that on my résumé
- lingyai, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1So she is a "sick bitch" for not going with him. How dare she assert her own free will, what a freak.
Don't she know women must say yes?!
I would hate to see you you handle rejection. - eatbeefjerky, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1If you seriously think prom is "serious business", you deserve the ***** who cheats on you. As a female, I'd like to ask all diggers to ignore the post above me, she's not the type you want.
- OfNumbers, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1"especially ones as skilled and savvy as the Digg community"
Digg is probably one of the least educated online communities around. I think it has something to do with how the vast majority of the users here are 14 year olds. -
