- Kamisado, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5This video really made me smile, there should be more people like this guy in the world. Just by holding up a sign with a simple premise he made so many peoples lives a teeny bit better, and for that he deserves a serious hug himself.
- rolandog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I need one... pretty bad.
='( - AmazingnessMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4What an awesome guy! Free Hug Day should be an international holiday
- ryan4477, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3im so gonna do this at the mall someday!!
- rparle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I found this digg when I tried to submit the same video myself. This guy is out there having fun and brightening people's days. If I saw that guy on the streets of Dublin I'd be the first to give him a hug (or get a free hug from him, I guess).
Random acts of kindness, FTW! I wonder is he a joinee? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Join_Me - audiobee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3this is good stuff and not just because a band i work with is in it. the video is powerful and the inspiration is strong

Love how he recruits others to join the free hug campaign.
Love the skateboard stunt>hug
You also have to laugh and shake your head at the use of city law enforcement to create a 'hug free zone'. What a crock. Something is rotten in Sydney if you see a local govt get up in arms over that.
More love and hugs, less terror and drugs... - RJNavarrete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I saw this on YouTube this afternoon... What an inspiration. I loved the video and commend the author. A job well done.

- newbietheatre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I remember seeing this on the Australian 60 Minutes. Good story and the band seemed like cool people.
- borfast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's amazing what such a simple action can do!
Thanks for the inspiration, Juan Mann! - brodie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great clip! It warmed my heart and will do the same for you. Pass it on to your friends!
- Tigereye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A truly inspirational video. I don't care if it's viral advertising for Sick Puppies' new CD they're releasing in 2007 (I don't know if it is, but it could be), this video made me all warm inside and made me feel more *HUMAN*
It's astonishing to think that such a small act of kindness can impact others' lives in such a profoundly positive way - both the people being hugged in the video, and every one of us like me who felt the positive vibes leaping out of this video and wrapping its arms around us.
Everyone deserves a free hug! - markaussie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0They are trying to break the world record for a group hug which was set in Germany 16 000 people Here is the Australian Free Hugs site http://www.freehugs.com.au/ and the Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5754936276&ref=mf
