- spworm, on 11/12/2009, -2/+52Grandma is probably suffering from the early stages of dementia or alzheimers. The notes are as much for her, as you.
It sucks when your grandma dies. I give her 5 years tops. - cwilsons, on 11/12/2009, -1/+39This could be a Memento-type situation... sad thought.
- enozten, on 11/12/2009, -0/+31so she has alzheimer's and needs to remind herself of stuff..
stop putting her ***** up on the internet - Newsdude, on 11/12/2009, -0/+27If the cat ever did make it out, it would run, far, far away
- taibo, on 11/12/2009, -0/+25Now I am compelled to take a sharpie and write random instructions everywhere.

The *****??? - Cyberdactyl, on 11/12/2009, -0/+19I agree entirely. . .well. . .because I've seen this before with my grandfather.
They say it's because they have their "mind on other things", but it's obvious a dash of dementia has slipped into their lives.
What it DOES do is reduce frustration by minimizing little mistakes around the house. - blingbin, on 11/12/2009, -1/+19i cant for the life of me figure out what she meant by <--HORSES-->
is she directing us to the nearest track? is this where i park my horse when i trade in my car? - piieerrrree, on 11/12/2009, -1/+18http://rorr.im
- XBunnyRacer, on 11/12/2009, -0/+17That's what I though too.. She's probably old and forgetful.
- Rain12913, on 11/12/2009, -0/+15Poor Grandma is definitely in the early stages of Alzheimer's =(
The best evidence of this is the drawing in which she's re-labeled the light switches for Gas and Lights (which already have labels) and color-coded the screws above them. She likely did this because there is a significant decrease in contrast sensitivity with Alzheimer's, so color coding things in bright shades can be helpful. - reelskamachine, on 11/12/2009, -0/+13oh crap, i let the cat out.
- BotaXero, on 11/12/2009, -1/+12Who says of their grandmother "sometimes her tags get a little sexy"?
- OrangeRevel, on 11/12/2009, -0/+11It's code; Soviet probably. Grandma is obviously working for the KGB.
- spworm, on 11/12/2009, -0/+10It would just run, run all night and day.
But it couldn't get away. - roedood, on 11/11/2009, -2/+11http://www.hulu.com/watch/18098/the-simpsons-cat-l ...

- Ibox, on 11/12/2009, -0/+8it died like ten years ago because she didn't have an instruction to feed the damn thing.

that's because dogs are cooler - zantos420, on 11/12/2009, -0/+5...in the cupboard...
- phoenix1909, on 11/12/2009, -0/+5You can live a lot longer than 5 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Not saying that it always--or even often--happens that way, but my grandpa has was diagnosed when I was 3 and I'm 18 now. He doesn't remember much at all now, but at least he still remembers my grandma.
- Ibox, on 11/12/2009, -0/+5Yep, lost my Grandfather to alzheimers a few years ago... he didn't do anything like this he jus started doing weird *****... I miss fishing with him tho.
- themagicfetus, on 11/12/2009, -0/+4One reason some religions ban pig meat is because its said to taste and smell like human flesh. Apparently some of our ancestors dabbled with cannibalism.
- inactive, on 11/12/2009, -0/+4If I was the cat, I'd want the ***** out!
- theberlindoctor, on 11/12/2009, -0/+4Agreed. Having just lost mine, make sure you show her even a little of the loving kindness she showed you in your vulnerable years.
- superkane, on 11/12/2009, -0/+3Ah, yes. The "Magritte Hamper".
- Miroresh, on 11/12/2009, -0/+3Poor grandma, you just depressed the crap out of me. :(
- spworm, on 11/12/2009, -0/+2same here.
- Lewiji, on 11/12/2009, -0/+2Only Vice magazine. Ever.
- DulcetTone, on 11/12/2009, -1/+3Technically, dogs are "far cooler"
- Wiradon, on 11/12/2009, -0/+2does that make me a cannibal for eating bacon?
- Atario, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1Those cabinet doors are the ones behind which is her collection of My Little Ponies.
- blindmelon1, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1For some reason this reminded me of the movie "Bad Boy Bubby"
- codyman, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1This site went down faster than a prom date
- wizzroom, on 11/12/2009, -1/+2I wanna know how this granny looks like now. I wonder how she smells too.
- d0o0fy, on 11/12/2009, -1/+2Just by reading the title I really thought it was gonna be about some crazy/slutty Halloween costumes...
- planktonattack, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1dad?
- OrangeRevel, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1Hey, give her the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they are very small horses.
- inactive, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1I actually appreciate you straightening me out on that. I realize I get lazy sometimes and talk like a neanderthal, and it shows..
- TehLion, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1I like how in some spots she's labeled the areas that already have labels.
- ZhiZaki, on 11/12/2009, -2/+2I thought that was absolutely the funniest thing I've seen all day
- teh_techie, on 11/12/2009, -2/+2I think the site got Alzheimers... maybe someone should have written a note on how to serve the content..
- findlebitr, on 11/12/2009, -0/+0Yeah, cats can be crazy sometimes!
- SoundJudgment, on 11/12/2009, -1/+1Big deal. I do this with those P-Touch labels all the time!
>.>
