- 3Y3CON, on 06/01/2009, -0/+228August 6th 1945 - Dear Diary, Today I got hit by an atomic bomb, lost my hearing and am partially blind, this day could not possibly get any worse.
August 9th 1945 - FML. - christoast, on 06/01/2009, -5/+214Did i ever tell ya the story about how I got struck by lightning seven times?
- inactive, on 06/01/2009, -0/+209"Holy ***** guys, you won't believe what just happened in Hirosh... "
- sgvprelude, on 06/01/2009, -0/+167Dear 50 Cent,

Sincerely Mr Yamaguchi. - inactive, on 06/01/2009, -7/+155Dongtacularly unlucky
- MrZaiko, on 06/01/2009, -0/+136If A meteorite(Property of Space Inc.) destroys my house and hits me, why cant I own the *****?
- simbait, on 06/01/2009, -2/+135"he'd be the one guy out there saying we shouldn't worry about nukes because, really, you can just walk away from that *****"
Take that Chuck Norris! - Sublex, on 06/01/2009, -0/+117But one time, I lost my wallet.
- jparkinson, on 06/01/2009, -0/+100he singlehandedly makes everyone that has ever posted on FML look like a pussy
- dracoregis, on 06/01/2009, -1/+97Surviving 2 nukes! props to you Mr Yamaguchi
- bigmarc27, on 06/01/2009, -0/+86Being struck by lightning is "only" a 3000 to 1 shot? I would've thought it would be much higher than that.
- soulonfire928, on 06/01/2009, -1/+81The lady who took spot #2 had me cracking up.
My question-aren't they actually lucky since they survived all of that? - Zarokima, on 06/01/2009, -0/+76I can't see the picture. It just goes to the tinypic homepage.
- Residents, on 06/01/2009, -0/+75P.S. lets see if your bitch ass makes it to 93.
- Petestreet, on 06/01/2009, -1/+61I have a small meteorite on a shelf. My shirt got caught on a screw. Shelf wobbled, meteorite fell off, and I got hit in the head.
- inactive, on 06/01/2009, -2/+53They would be lucky if it had not happened to them at all.
- pisseddog, on 06/01/2009, -1/+49Once i was out just, walking my dog...
- macfan93, on 06/01/2009, -0/+48DAMN YOU TINYPIC!
- rhoonah, on 06/01/2009, -1/+47It is on American soil and I believe that is what the article was talking about... those people witnessed the worst terrorist attacks in history for 3 different nations.
- Vindexus, on 06/01/2009, -0/+42Don't use tinypic.
- Petestreet, on 06/01/2009, -0/+40Odds are 5000 to 1 according to NOAA.
http://www.lightningsafety.noaa.gov/medical.htm - christoast, on 06/01/2009, -2/+42"She got hit by a ***** meteorite." That line was so funny.
- inactive, on 06/01/2009, -2/+40"space rock formally known as a meteorite"
I got hit by the artist formerly known as Prince. Then we partied like it was 1999. - PhillyMJS, on 06/01/2009, -0/+38Can please we just pay that tourist couple to stay the ***** home for the rest of their lives, and do away with Homeland Security Theater?
- Rain12913, on 06/01/2009, -1/+39You have to remember that those odds are for the average person, not somebody like this guy who is frequently walking around outside in thunder storms as part of his job. To say that an event with a 1 in 5000 likelihood actually occurred 7 times to this guy is false, as the odds were much higher for him.
- ICSU, on 06/01/2009, -2/+38because you don't live in a free country
- Garofoli, on 06/01/2009, -0/+31It'll be a word someday.
- dnasty27, on 06/01/2009, -4/+34I dugg you down so I could digg you up twice.
- ghatid, on 06/01/2009, -0/+28Does this one work?
http://imagechan.com/img/6463/2/Frozen%20Urine%20H ...
I understand why you described it as a harpoon...after I saw the picture. - osok, on 06/01/2009, -1/+29yes, but it was not streaking in from space at the time.. so you got hit on the head by a space rock formally known as a meteorite.
- bradhunt5, on 06/01/2009, -5/+30I think getting hit by the Meteorite should be number 1, I mean what is the actual chance of that happening
- Rain12913, on 06/01/2009, -0/+24Once a meteorite, always a meteorite.
- popstation, on 06/01/2009, -2/+25Benjamin Button.
- FXNGLAS, on 06/01/2009, -0/+22Dugg for the bar chart.
- rhoonah, on 06/01/2009, -1/+22Agreed but since only 2 atomic bombs have EVER been used in war where potentially thousands of meteorites have come to Earth, I would say that it is more unlikely to have been present in both cities while they were nuked. I guess you could argue against this due to the proximity of the cities and same general time that it occured.
- JustLetGo, on 06/01/2009, -2/+23Thank you. Nice to know there's someone else out there operating on more then just short-term recall.
- anexanhume, on 06/01/2009, -6/+26Bartender: He's been struck by lightning... how many times has it been now, Reg?
Reg: S-s-s-s-s-s-s-six...
Chet: Six times?
Reg: S-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-six-sixty-sixty-six times. In-n-n-n-n-n-n-In-n-n-n-n-n-n-In-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n the head! - CylonsOfTheLamb, on 06/01/2009, -0/+20A few years back, I was driving down the road and my truck was rear ended by a Comet.
It was from Mercury. - Megadeth222, on 06/01/2009, -10/+30http://i44.tinypic.com/2ajw38n.jpg
Im pretty sure this woman pretty much takes the cake for most unlucky person ever. I dare u to find me a better one - mrpunman, on 06/01/2009, -1/+20Once when I was in the field, just tending to my cows
- inactive, on 06/01/2009, -7/+23I love cracked.com
- scottcxv, on 06/02/2009, -1/+16/insert awesome ascii mushroom cloud that i couldnt find but trust me guys its pretty damn good
- eljue, on 06/01/2009, -0/+15"Jeanne Rogers lives her life like a sitcom. She's basically a female George Costanza. She's more of an encumbrance than a friend, really, resembling those annoying hostages in first person shooters that have terrible AI and need to be led to safety while continually stumbling into danger."
That part made my day. - HBZ55, on 06/01/2009, -8/+229-11 is not the worst terrorist attack in history.
- dahwang, on 06/01/2009, -0/+14Sh*t happens... to some people, a lot of it.
- brothaa, on 06/01/2009, -0/+13Actually I think they would be be normal in that case.
- Scrappy1850, on 06/01/2009, -1/+13one of my favorite episodes.
- Myztry, on 06/01/2009, -0/+12One in a million isn't THAT rare in world of 6,700+ million people. Good chance there's 6699 other people just like you.
Now, repeating those odds 7+ times, or being being the only person known to ever been hit by a meteor. That's owning bad luck. - inactive, on 06/01/2009, -4/+15"Yamaguchi uses this tragedy to enlighten people on the dangers of atomic bombs."
If anything, his experience shows that atomic bombs are not dangerous at all. -
