- tzvika613, on 07/16/2009, -5/+104The death penalty for rape will encourage murdering the victim.
- zeth006, on 07/16/2009, -30/+87Rape itself is one of the most disgusting crimes in my mind. Any man who engages in it against a powerless woman deserves nothing less than death.
- Llanowar, on 07/17/2009, -13/+52Gang rape is different though. Statistics show that 9 out of 10 people enjoy it.
- masterkenobi, on 07/17/2009, -2/+38or life without balls.
- diggadigga, on 07/17/2009, -8/+32Wow, just wow. If that happened to one my friends, I would try to find a way to do violent things to the rapist.
And ***** all of you making ***** rape jokes. Rape ISN'T funny. Unless you're getting raped by a clown. Then it's hilarious. Happened to me at the county fair last fall, couldn't stop laughing. - dvsbstrd, on 07/17/2009, -8/+2912 guys are raping a German girl, she screams "NEIN NEIN" and three of 'em leave.
- joelcass, on 07/17/2009, -0/+20Recommendation - Never submit an article about a tragic rape on digg
- zeth006, on 07/16/2009, -8/+23Yes, that's always a possibility.
I didn't explicitly advocate the death penalty for rape. I just expressed my opinion. One can be opposed to the death penalty in general but still believe in his mind that rape is so heinous that those who willfully engage in it are men and women of evil hearts. Call it an unsupported statement (i.e. a "rant" in formal terms) if you will, I don't care.
BTW--To the people digging me down: I don't know whether you're the types to fantasize about rape all the time or whether you just simply disagree with my strong opinion against rape.
Either way...please clarify the diggs down! I'm curious to learn what others think! - monkeymad2, on 07/17/2009, -1/+14GO BRITAIN!
And the dailymail love fear-mongering more than they hate immigrants. - RuffRidr, on 07/16/2009, -13/+26The violent crime rate in the UK, which is quite a bit higher than the US, is really getting out of control. Let's hope we don't follow suit and make the same mistakes that they have.
- RuffRidr, on 07/16/2009, -6/+17Murder is just a portion of violent crime. It also includes rapes, assaults, burglaries, etc. Britain seems to excel at these types of crimes:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1196941/Th ... - snupples, on 07/17/2009, -1/+12I did. What.
- snupples, on 07/17/2009, -1/+12Dude, if someone raped me, I would rape them right back. If it was a hot chick. Eye for an eye.
- tama00, on 07/17/2009, -3/+13My only regret is that I have boneitis.
- MikeOSX, on 07/17/2009, -7/+16These comments suck.
- xGeneric, on 07/17/2009, -0/+8"Any man who engages in it against a powerless woman deserves nothing less than death."
So wait, does that mean powerful woman are fair game? - sathias, on 07/17/2009, -2/+10Yes you are about the 4th person to post that, its neither original or funny.
- DharmaT, on 07/17/2009, -3/+10Rape is a crime of violence and control. Not one of sexual pleasure.
Would you ask to be violently assaulted?
Would you ask to be beaten bloody?
Likely not.
No woman, or man, ASKS to be raped. Rape is a form of control and a war tactic used by cowards. No one asks for that. No one. - BN2L, on 07/17/2009, -5/+12Errr..... From your own ***** source:
'But criminologists say crime figures can be affected by many factors, including different criminal justice systems and differences in how crime is reported and measured.
In Britain, an affray is considered a violent crime, while in other countries it will only be logged if a person is physically injured.'
Violent crime in the U.S. is NOT the same as violent crime in the U.K.
You come across as rather naive saying things like ' Let's hope we don't follow suit and make the same mistakes that they have.' and backing up your statement with ***** Daily Mail statistics. The guy with the reliable info gets buried so let me just add to Leszek's post. From figures published yesterday:
Overall crime down 5%
Violent crime down 6%
Gun crime down 17%

Its been said again and again the ***** Daily Mail is ***** don't ever use it as a source again fool. - ennuisquared, on 07/16/2009, -8/+15What is more pathetic is it took a group of men to rape one woman. I hope these perpetrators get what they deserve.
- DharmaT, on 07/17/2009, -0/+7But in those cases, its not rape, it is role play and fantasy in a controlled environment where TRUST plays a HUGE role.
Fetish && Roleplay <> assault.
(Not saying that I do not agree with your statement, just saying it does not apply here. Digging you up....) - anonymousmedic, on 07/17/2009, -1/+7EARTH, WIND FIRE! BACK TO THE SHIRE!
- inactive, on 07/17/2009, -0/+6What about castration? Or is that worse than death?
- saranagati, on 07/17/2009, -4/+9Actually quite a few woman (and most men too i guess as long as the rapist is a beautiful woman) ask to be raped. It happens to be a fetish called a rape fantasy where the person is turned on by being completely submissive and not having any control of the situation.
- saranagati, on 07/17/2009, -2/+7That's why I always wear my clown outfit when I do my raping.
- doom777, on 07/17/2009, -0/+5you should go to prison and "enjoy" it yourself. Just like the girl.
- themusicalduck, on 07/17/2009, -0/+4***** the BNP.
- jakereilly, on 07/17/2009, -3/+7You would rape them right back?
Think about that for a second. - BobSagetFan, on 07/17/2009, -0/+3Obvious troll is obvious
- futureisours, on 07/17/2009, -2/+5Digging you down because whether your opinions are sound or not, you sound like a self-righteous douche.
- themastersb, on 07/17/2009, -2/+5In other news: You should go back to Youtube.
- snupples, on 07/17/2009, -2/+5Yes, and what they deserve is a fair trial in front of an impartial jury.
Why is this story on digg? There's nothing of value here. - DharmaT, on 07/17/2009, -1/+4You = idiot
- deweyhewson, on 07/17/2009, -4/+6A fast drop and a sudden stop.
- drakenlot, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2@imikedaman
No, if you read his comment, and it seems like you can't read at all, you would see that he uses 'whether'. He doesn't use either/or.
That means he is suggesting those as possible options, but not the only ones. - PopcornDave, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2How about life with an anus so stretched out that every time you sneeze you ***** yourself. Strap these ***** to something and let a ***** machine give them a taste of forced sexual activity. Size of the dildo may vary according to sentencing.
- t0x2c, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2@Zeth006, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that by holding the view that a point is valid, and thus sharing that you hold this view, you are advocating that view. I don't mean to argue points or ethics, but simply definitions.
Now I will argue though. The problem is, if a rapist knows that he'll get the same punishment whether he rapes a victim or whether he rapes and then kills a victim, while the latter reduces his chance of being caught, a rational person would both rape and kill rather than just rape. Negatives: morals, but they probably aren't that strong if you're raping the person anyways. Positives: reduced chance of getting caught (now police have to investigate all suspects rather than the one the rapist pointed out).
It has nothing to do with support for the death penalty or not. It has to do with what tactics will reduce the amount of crime in a given area. - Axeman2063, on 07/17/2009, -1/+3Dammit, Bubbles I said NO.
- themastersb, on 07/17/2009, -2/+4Too old. Then again you probably think that Pedobear is applicable to any situation.
- Enkairi, on 07/17/2009, -1/+3So what would you call white/asian/black people of the same age? Me thinks you speculate.
- piper999, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2Why do I get the impression you were touching yourself as you typed that?
Presumably "powerless woman" is thephrase you use in your letters to Penthouse. - zeth006, on 07/17/2009, -1/+3If you're going to reply, reply to the correct comment and please read the explanations.
Otherwise you're just another troll. - boardwalk, on 07/17/2009, -3/+5Grow up idiots. This is a serious matter of penetrating importance.
- sargeras, on 07/17/2009, -1/+3Awesome. Awesome to the maaaax.
- drakenlot, on 07/17/2009, -4/+6Moron, he never stated those are the only options.
- lizard450, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2Anyone else find it disturbing the rapists were referred to as youths? Is it just an American vs UK English thing because when I think of youths I'm thinking 12 and less. 17 and 18 are men and women.
- Ugoff, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2I know you might have been joking, but seriously? It's comments like this that make me just want to quit reading digg comments.
- eigenweasel, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2Good idea. Funny how some people here mustn't have mothers, wives, sisters or daughters.
- drakenlot, on 07/17/2009, -2/+4Honestly, I doubt they will get an impartial jury. How can anyone be impartial to rape?
- drakenlot, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2Maybe if you do it again, your third time will be the charm?
