newspapertree.com — In October of 2006, Playboy magazine came to El Paso in search of UTEP coeds for their May 2007 Girls of the Conference USA issue. El Paso Magazine Senior Editor, Mary Johnson, shadowed the process from tryouts to the final shoot. She witnessed many of these girls attain their lifelong dream, to be featured in the pages of Playboy.
