- matthawaii, on 10/10/2007, -0/+65It is hard to watch.....just cringe when you know it is coming!
The suspense is the worst part. - dgh1973, on 10/10/2007, -0/+57Dear lord...
It's stupid enough to take those risks with your own hand as a magician, but to have someone come up as a volunteer and have THEM get spiked... that's just beyond stupid. - Bluth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+56ILLUSION Michael!
A trick is something a whore does for money...or candy. - matthawaii, on 10/10/2007, -3/+52Man, painful to watch, more painful to think about!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+49apologies come with chocolate, flowers and a 500,000 lawsuit.
- frazw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+41I like the way the second "magician" says at the end, "Sometimes magic goes wrong." Ok fine but if there is a chance, take that risk yourself, don't ask someone else to.
- thatchimp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+40I couldn't watch it all the way through, repeating again and again, could anyone else? gives me the heebie jeebies...
- darksky100, on 10/10/2007, -0/+38He just put a spike through a volunteers hand....and the audience claps?
- mikeylopez, on 10/10/2007, -1/+37there is no such thing as magic gone wrong. When magic goes wrong, it's call physics.
- a3r0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29Guns that shoot flaming knives?
- Neuticals, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28"Don't play with knives kids, is the basic message."
Great Capt. Obvious quote. - beng123, on 10/10/2007, -2/+29i was expecting something worse, but knifes are bad enough i guess,
- capiCrimm, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25i was hoping it was the sawing in half act myself.
- matthawaii, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Don't watch if you can't stand a little tension.....it is awesome
- aaronjason8992, on 10/10/2007, -4/+22Dont stab me bro!
- sparrowkc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16I literally couldn't watch that whole thing. I had to stop it before the lady got her hand forced onto a spike.
That is a first for me. Even on the internet. - unndone, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17And then he would have stabbed you. He has a knife, remember?
- Etaoin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16with LASER BEAMS?!
- SiNN4R, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14I apologize to the UK for their adoption of our VH1 snarky talking heads format of television.

- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15But still, where'd the lighter fluid come from?
- NnyCW, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14...Someone gets me stabbed, I'll sue.
Yes, America has a ridiculous precedent for lawsuits, but I don't see this as one of those moments. - catfud, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14you would have been out of breath by the time you ran on stage
- luke374, on 10/10/2007, -7/+18I love the awkward applause at the end.
- diggduggjoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10It seemed to me that he was indeed going to hit the other cup. She admitted she was pulling very hard, so I blame her for not trusting the guy. However, a magician should never accept audience participation when it can go wrong. When audience participation is used there should be a zero chance for failure or you need to have a ringer sitting in the crowd.
- iashraf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Fire?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8you been playing too much Halo 3?
- StarManta, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10For the second guy, it looked pretty clearly like on the last cup he was trying to go for the one that was actually empty. But she said in the commentary that she kept instinctively pulling away, and it looked like that happened to pull her over the other cup.
No idea about the first guy though, I think he was just dumb. - praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -0/+8being thrown by CLOWNS!
- tiberone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7not quite, matthawaii.
this trick really is just a giant guessing game for the magician performing it. really. basically the volunteer knows which cover the knife goes under and then the magician tries to use clues in the volunteer's actions and speech to determine which one has the knife. it's an extremely dangerous trick and one that's performed by a ton of magicians that have no business doing it.
if you ever come across someone attempting this trick, get out the camera. it's very likely something's about to go horribly wrong. - NycterisA, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8You may be surprised how often that trick ends this way.
- LilJimmyNordin, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Somewhere, Jesus is muttering "Pfft, ***** wimps."
- quisph, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8You're so right.... I even remember seeing a comment _just_like_yours_ earlier on this same page.
- EnderTheThird, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8For the 2nd trick, it seems that the lady jerked her hand away which is what caused them swing right and hit that cup instead. I'm not saying it's her fault because that's just a stupid thing to have audience participation for anyway. So the guy is a jackass twice: once for stabbing the girl's hand, and again for even asking for audience participation with such a stupid trick in the first place!
- purple, on 10/10/2007, -3/+9And you quoting him stating he's stating the obvious is you stating the obvious.
Great Sidekick Obvious. - Klinky, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Nah, being stabbed through the hand is pretty serious. You've got a "deep" wound in your hand. You've possibly got fragments of shattered bone stuck in there now. There's also muscle & nerve tissue running through your hand. Slice a nerve & your feeling may be reduced or you may lose all feeling & the ability to control your hand. Same can be said with a sliced muscle. It's also very possible a wound like that could get infected and if that happened you might lose your whole hand. Not to mention it'd be painful as hell.
- BaldDadu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Better to only give the illusion of a threat, and not leave any possibility.
- Sil369, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6which aren't youtube'd
- DigitalN, on 10/10/2007, -3/+9not all of us live in america and are sue happy.
- digital, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6She didn't get any chocolates and flowers!
- suprxtragrav, on 12/09/2008, -0/+5holy crap, that was hard to watch, i kept wincing and holding my hands
what a stupid and boring trick though - sealhands, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5dude i hope she sued him for all hes got, what a retard and a pointless wussy thing to do, taking a risk is fine if you do it yourself and not let someone else take it for you.
- kalleanka, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8So those guys actually randomly choose a bag?? Or what the heck went wrong?
- matthawaii, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Knives are bad I guess?
Man o Man, can't imagine much worse. - skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5What a ***** idiot.
- combatchuck, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6And he already stabbed your girlfriend.
- stimpack, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I like how the crowd still gives him applause for stabbing a ladies hand.
- emehrkay, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Yeah. I've browsed rotten.com a lot in the past, but I couldnt bring myself to watch past the first trick in this vid
