Sean Hannity Takes Care of Sharpton watch!
dumbr.com — I don't care for either of these idiots, but it's good to see Sharpton get put in his place for demanding that Imus be fired, when he himself is just as guilty of racist remarks.

Period.- cr4ft, on 10/12/2007, -25/+14You know that old saying that read "never argue with an idiot or they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"
I'm just glad that Hannity accomplished that - DOCKAUF55, on 10/12/2007, -13/+9This may seem like a stretch, but it has been my theory for years that if we taught Anthropology in our Junior Highs and High schools, then we would eliminate racism. The acceptance of evolution and speciation will lead to the discovery by our young students that the concept of race and all the decisions we have made based on race are a complete perversion of science. Races do not exist. A species is the most specific way to describe an organism, not race. The concept of race has peen perpetuated by those who feel it is beneath them to be lumped in together with people of other shades of brown(which we all are). If there are no races, there is no racism, there is no Don Imus, there is no Jesse Jackson, no Al Sharpton. What's left is just a bunch of brown ***** Sapiens treating each other civilly because they are all born equal under god's watchful supervision.
Soap box is free, please step up. - houler, on 10/12/2007, -11/+8Ooooohhhh......you had me right up until "god's watchful supervision".

- DOCKAUF55, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1funny, just real, real funny
- StealthMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26I'm really surprised to see the response to this. I expected everyone to be Pro-Sharpton and and any Pro-Hannity comments to be dugg all the way down to hell. It's good to see the liberals and conservatives and everyone in between can sit down and agree that this guy is arrogant racist hypocrite that isn't doing anyone any good, including the African American community.
- dbhaley, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6It is clear to me after seeing this video that what the black community is missing is leadership.
Sean Hannity is wrong on most political issues, but he is spot on here. - gamblore, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA8HCL4IdO0&mode=related&search=
- diggdong, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4In the early 70's Sharpton was a mid level drug dealer. He got caught with a grocery sack of white power then turned FBI informant, because of his ties in the boxing world. Wonder who he works for now.
- cr4ft, on 10/12/2007, -25/+14You know that old saying that read "never argue with an idiot or they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"
- Wonderkind, on 10/12/2007, -5/+57Al Sharpton is so consumed with hatred he cannot see the light of day.
He is so filled with lies and deceit, he cannot discern truth or honesty.
He is so narcissistic, he cannot hear other peoples thought spoken to him.- SIRBERUS, on 10/12/2007, -10/+29And he's such a nagger.
- HinDeSky, on 10/12/2007, -74/+8Sean Hannity= the poster boy of the KKK.
- drafhk, on 10/12/2007, -9/+33How big of a tool do you have to be to make a remark like that? Maybe you should look to your hero Robert Byrd if you want to see representation for the KKK.
- drouk1556, on 10/12/2007, -4/+261. It's all about use of advertisers. Racism is about use of advertisers on a show. Thanks for clearing that one up for us, Al.
2. The audience is evidently packed with Sharpton fans?
3. Sharpton almost drops an F-bomb at the very end when he mentions hallucinations. - ClaudioF, on 10/12/2007, -8/+53Hannity actually making valid points. Hell just got a little colder.
- Devoboy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+46Well... calling out Al Sharpton on wrongdoings is like finding rain drops in a tropical storm.
- Lax32, on 10/12/2007, -19/+12Hannity isnt a stupid or really in all probability that radical of a person, he just knows how to play his cards. He works to defend whatever is going to get him the most credit among the far right community. He may be out there sometimes, but he certainly is as intelligent as any of the rest of the people in politics.
- altwoodkane, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7Regardless of the specific matter at hand,
Equality goes both ways. - kindrobot, on 10/12/2007, -16/+3What is it they say about broken clocks again?
- nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9take them to a repair shop.

- nmcnface, on 10/12/2007, -40/+6Make the world a better place, punch Sean Hannity in the face.
- Devoboy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17You sure contribute a whole lot to this.
- kindrobot, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7Punch them both. No, give them swords.
- UncleBadTouch, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Sharpton is an opportunistic race bater. If he heart was in the right place, than he would try to make a real difference in his community....not just try and get his face in the news as much as possible. Equality has to go both ways Mr. Sharpton.
- MrRogers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11Thankfully Al Sharpton is getting old so he won't be around for too much longer to continue doing the damage to his race that he is. It is sad that there are so many uneducated people that actually still think the guy has merit. It's shocking. I just don't get it.
- BrownBoognish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4If he's around for one more day spewing his venom under the ridiculous guise of a "reverend" than it is one day to long wouldn't ya say?
- charlescheese, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Rev al has a way of making himself sound right even when he's not. He has a way of getting people to shut up by being obnoxious. Hannity knew this and didn't let him get away with his usual feigned indignance, which usually shuts people up. Hell, it worked on Imus.
- DarkReign16, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11As has been pointed out already, Sharpton is a racist. He is also a hypocrite. And apparently an *****, he wouldn't forgive Imus even though he made the same mistakes. But I suppose that one is covered by hypocrite.
Whoa...a pig just flew over my house. - BrownBoognish, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Sharpton is a racist A-HOLE.
The man still hasn't apologized for his antics, during and after the Tawana Brawley case.
He hasn't owned up and apologized for his anti-semetic remarks during the crown heights riots.
How about "Freddy's Fashion Mart", using the term 'white interloper', and after one of the protesters burned down the place (after shooting several people) Sharpton comes up with this line-
"I am a preacher, not a prophet. I could not know in advance what this was going to come to."
Could it really have come to anything else Mr. Sharpton?
Yeah Sean Hannity may be a slap happy republican douchebag, but at least some one called out Sharpton for his hypocrisy, his racism, and his willingness to instigate violence. He does nothing to get rid of racism in this world, he perpetuates racism.- abadbronc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"He does nothing to get rid of racism in this world, he perpetuates racism."
There ain't no money in the cure...
- abadbronc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"He does nothing to get rid of racism in this world, he perpetuates racism."
- ecorona, on 10/12/2007, -14/+3Please, please, PLEASE do not look for Sean Hannity as the voice of reason on ANYTHING. Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Liely are the biggest threats to freedom in American. These divisive spin-masters don't care about this country. Don't listen to any man who demonizes an entire group of poeple (Democrats in this case). Giving this guy credit for anything legitimizes him just a little bit. Remember, the most dangerous truths are the ones mixed with lies.
- BrownBoognish, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8You forgot Al Sharpton on that list.
- mightyslick, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2I listen to these idiots everyday , not by choice (co- workers) . They are just pushing peoples buttons for ratings. Problem is that a lot of Americans turns to these guys for political advise. They act as if the Democrats are the only ones F-ing up things and the Republicans have nothing to do with it. Reality , we all know that most politicians are guilty of doing this. As far a racist comments. Just look up Rush's "Barock the magic negro" song. I hate even typing it. He claims nothing in that song is racist though by putting "negro" he now points out race. Sad stupid people.
- mattyG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1so then i guess no one should listen to anyone in the digg community as every comment is still anti-republican
- JustinPM, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1A stopped clock is right two times a day. Hannity can be right once in a while as well.
- Spikito, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10I like Hannity, he tells it like it is. forget the politically correct *****
- ecorona, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Check out MediaMatters.org and you might change your mind about that. Sean is a staunch supporter of anything conservative and every liberal is an idiot according to him.
- BrownBoognish, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Okay I'll forget the politically correct *****. Should I also forget about the CORRECT *****. Sean Hannity is an ass.
- Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4The only reason Hannity is "telling it like it is" with Sharpton is because Sharpton is a Democrat.
- dbhaley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@ecorona
Yeah, because MediaMatters has no bias at all, huh? Go ahead, dig me down libs, but I'm not even a GOP, I'm a libertarian. Face it people, Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same.
- Daunting, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Though Sean Hannity is the epitome of tool, he seems to have finally found some sense about one issue. His own backwards prejudice could have incited this speech, we will never know. But he is speaking of a contradiction that pervades much of society. No matter what horse's ass its coming from, reason is self evident.
- loki440, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16That was an amazing clip for several reasons:
1. I found myself agreeing with---and even cheering on-- Sean Hannity, a pundit I tend to despise. It takes guts for any major media figure to call out Sharpton like he did. Plus he made a well thought-out, rational case against the Reverend---I didn't think Hannity had a rational bone in his body.
2. Even though I was looking forward to seeing Sharpton get ripped apart, I was impressed with his ability to go head to head with Hannity. Mind you Sharpton doesn't fight a CLEAN fight....he obscures the argument, makes false claims, plays the selective hearing game...but Jesus these are the same tactics that Hannity uses every weekday! It takes real rhetorical skill to turn that back on him.
3. These two guys are really two sides of the same ***** up coin. America, can't we do better than this? I mean really... - aggrogeek, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Sharpton got pwned!
Now bury my stupid and childish comment. - bjsiders, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17I liked Hannity's line, "This man got down on his knees and begged for forgiveness. You're a reverend and a Christian, and you wouldn't forgive him."
- Trebis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The whole debate, I guess:
Part 1: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ilo393IsgUE
Part 2: http://youtube.com/watch?v=P6Q95ldhsEQ - iseebluuue, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7not to defend Sharpton or anything, but he was right about Hannity taking the yarmulka comment out of context. it made sense when he explained it. that happens too often; people take snippets of quotes out of context to make others look like assclowns.
he's still a racist, though. - achillis01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I digg this over and over again. Sharpton is a racist or hes extremely stupid. Is he trying to defeat racism with racism. Generally speaking, I dont see how that would work out well since hate seems to perpetuate more hate.
- heirwakeling, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1They are both scum. But Hannity is a smug backwards bastard, I don't know how anyone could declare a victory.
- lynch03, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2 I rather swallow a cup of nails then watch something that has both Al Sharptons and Sean Hannity's name in it.
- clark1001, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Just another vote here for "Sharpton is a racist bastard." That is all.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Ugh...the video just made me dislike these 2 even more...
- marino1820, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4i don't like sean hannity, al sharpton, or imus, but hannity nailed exactly the way i felt about this entire scandal
- oyflaaaayvin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4sharpton, you're an opportunist. ***** you, ***** you all night long. quit breathing my air. that is all.
- anthonyk28, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, fish in a barrel. Sharpton implodes when faced with references to his own *****. Louis Theroux's BBC show had an episode featuring Rev. Dingleberry there. Try and grab it on YouTube - everyone should know who this guy is the same way everyone should know who Hitler was. I'm dead serious.
- ATHEISTinHELL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i really don't agree with Hannity most of the time but I'm glad he put Sharpton in his place.
- Brows, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Hannity is just saying what Stern said when all this first happened. Both of these idiots are losers and don't deserve our attention.
- geminus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The thing about Sharpton though... you can't fire him because he has no real job? Really, who's going to hire a racist black person full of hate in the new millennium? I wouldn't let him serve me fries at a fast food joint.
- spearce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2sharpton's an angry golfer...
anyone?
FRUNKASSSS! - reed311, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2You've got to love it when White folks in America cry 'racism'. White people know nothing of racism. Come down to the South if you don't believe there aren't people still willing to lynch someone because of their race. It's alive and well in many people.
- Zybergod, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3White people don't know anything about racism? Are you KIDDING me?! Maybe back in the day, but in this day and age it's another story. If you want to know who in America has some of the LEAST of rights it's a white christian male. Look what happened with the Starbucks story on Digg (http://digg.com/offbeat_news/Anti_God_Starbucks_cup_has_customer_steaming)!
What happens in a white employer denies a job seeker employment because they are under qualified or just wrong for the job and they happen to not be white? The ACLU will come down on them like a ton of bricks! What happens if their beliefs that they hold true and dear are flat out disrespected or BANNED in one way or another? Do they have any hope of support for their outrage?
My point being racism is wrong in any way, shape or form. For you to say that white Americans don't know anything about racism is to lack perspective. - gifforjo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0@ reed311
From my experience (in NC) the south isn't that racist. In fact I'd say that the Yankees coming down here are far more racist than the natives. I can't believe how segregated it still is in many places in the north. I'm not saying that we don't still have our challenges down here, but we are making progress. We've been forced to deal with racism, while many northern communities are still ignoring it.
Oh, and Sharpton is an ass. He keeps digging up old wounds, ensuring that they never heal. Because if they did, he wouldn't have any power. Christians depend of forgiveness for their own salvation. If Sharpton is unable to forgive, then what does that say about his own faith? He's a poor representative for Christians, people of color, and human beings.
