- mntalkase, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25Heh... what bartender in his right mind is going to let some joker screw around with 20 pounds out of the cashier?
- Bitruder, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Yeah, bartenders NEVER have napkins lying around, and magic markers are rare these days.
- number9ine, on 10/12/2007, -8/+22The same kind of bartender who happens to have a thick magic marker and a paper napkin conveniently right behind him...
- gamesector, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Awesome clip. I just spent about 45 minutes watching more of them on YT :) Can't believe I missed something this intriguing when it was on!
- Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8If this guy has been in there for awhile keeping customers entertained and making the buisness more profitable sure you give 20 as a tip, thats nothing, if a magician was keeping 10+ ppl happy and content in your bar you wouldnt want to tip him so he keeps coming back???
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6It's dino-saur DNA!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6There are tricks you can do in a bar that are simple and fun or funny, but take it from a 15 yr bar-tending veteran. Doing more than just a couple of tricks makes you come off as an ass. And never, ever place wagers on these tricks. Perhaps I am only speaking for New York City bars but... a customer will tolerate "hey want to see a neat trick?" They will begin to get agitated though upon "care to put a wager on it?" The proper answer when somebody approaches you the way these guys do is "Seriously? a wager? On the out come of some slight of hand trick that you are familiar with and I am not? Please."
"Doing tricks and chewin' bricks" - dexim, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7How come there always seems to be someone complaining about how often a particular subject is posted on Digg!? If you don't like it, don't digg it. Just like you don't want to waste your time clicking on a link to see what it's about, I don't want to waste my time reading your whining.
This is actually the first time I have even heard of Real Hustle. I liked it, and will have to watch more later when I get time. - dexim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3TomP: Jess is around the corner. There are two blonds you can see that are watching the trick, neither of them are Jess. Jess IS distracting her so that she doesn't know about the trick.
- Desolite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3agreed, i would have been suspicious as soon as he let other people i didn't know touch it AFTER i had touched it, especially considering he basically turns around to let the last person touch it.
not sure why you're getting dugg down. i thought some of their other tricks were good - i just didn't like this one. - manningbc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2clever girl.

if the bar you hang out at requires a magician to "keep customers entertained" then I think you may actually be hanging out at children's birthday parties. And he is not "making the business more profitable." Your customers are there already and they are gonna drink what they are gonna drink. More likely you are going to find your self picking the guy up and escorting him out after one of your regulars knocks him out. And trust me once you have bar-tended a few years you see a guy start a trick and you think "crap one of these pain in asses."
"doing tricks and chewin bricks" - amarsuperstar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So all blonde girls look the same now?
You're a hair racist TomP! - capitocapito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The better trick. Do it with a 100 pound note, and no wager. First, you'll get the change from only one drink, and the bartender will be less reluctant to participate. You get double the profit.
- ccheath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1way to put it...
and in this case, what if the till was right behind the bartender or near him, not around a corner??? - Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The key to the trick is you have to be there a do a number of tricks first. The Bartender knows you did something, but thats the point of magic, not that its real but the skill of the distraction and slight of hand that makes things appear to be magic.
- EvilFerret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I despise shows that try to act like it's real....They did a horrible job at making it even slightly convincing.... Hidden camera? BS...LOL. Let's see them try that at a *real* bar without actors... I suppose there's a 1% chance a trick like that might work, but you would have to be a moron to attempt it.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the only real hustle going on, is that you think these tricks are good. i have common sense, and it's telling me that these tricks will only work on kids - even that's pushing it.
- mattyxo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Well why do you click them if you're not interested? The title obviously caught your eye so what's your problem with the real hustle? If you've seen them so many times, you should be able to recognize the real hustle videos - anytime it's some trick involving stealing money or anything to do with a bar, generally it's going to be the real hustle. Get some common sense and complain less.
- z00k, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Well... I'll keep this in mind ... XD
- KnightMareInc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3very obvious trick.
- TomP, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Jess didn't move though! (the blonde chick) did you notice that in the video? she was watching the trick all the time not keeping the bar maid busy!
- TomP, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1They look exactly the same though...
- Spoonicus, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Dumb as.
seriously, i challenge you to try this in a real bar. - ihate2regist, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1just make sure the bartender is piss drunk
- tmaiden, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1That was pretty neat. I had to watch it again to understand how they made out with more then 20 pounds. All in all, good post.
- JohnnyRad, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3please, everybody quit posting videos of real hustle "tricks," or at least label them "real hustle" so i dont click it
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1*Slow Clap*
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3How come there seems to be a Real Hustle video posted every single day on Digg FFS!?
