- FriskDown, on 10/22/2007, -7/+124I love how Ron Paul points out the fact that Bill O'Reilly doesn't let his guests answer the question - unless of course your answer is the one that he steered you into! Journalistic integrity?
- LimeParrot, on 10/22/2007, -4/+98I remember that video!
Bill O'Reilly: "I don't wanna hear about history around here!" - humanerror, on 04/03/2008, -1/+71I hope Stephen Colbert doesn't cost Ron Paul South Carolina :(
- meshgiath, on 10/22/2007, -2/+69Nice find - dugg for the proper use of the word "demagogue". Excellent.
- mateo60, on 10/18/2007, -5/+67"We don't wanna hear about any history!" I remember O'Riley saying that. Classic.
- EvanVolm, on 10/22/2007, -11/+70I can't wait to hear O'Reilly's response to this.....
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -13/+63I hope Bill O'Reilly ***** dies.
- atb112, on 10/18/2007, -12/+53Ron Paul could be the first candidate with two first names to win since Chester A. Arthur did it back in 1881.
If that isn't a reason to vote for Ron, I'm not sure what is... - card51short, on 10/22/2007, -1/+38yet you'd NEVER vote for him...lol
- card51short, on 10/18/2007, -5/+33then why the ***** do you click on an article with his name?
Are you retarded? - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -8/+35Ron Paul helped me lose 13 pounds in 3 weeks!!
- enginbeering, on 10/22/2007, -6/+31Why? That guy's just a waste of oxygen. Who gives a ***** what he has to say?
- opticwind, on 10/18/2007, -7/+30"most people don't know anything about this guy? Yeah, the idiots who don't support him."
Nice reasoning. "If you don't agree with me you're stupid." Ron Paul wouldn't want a supporter like you. - Dylson, on 10/18/2007, -5/+26O'Reilly?
- SparkyMaGee, on 10/18/2007, -4/+24Yeah? I'm tired of George Bush.
- Synthesize, on 10/18/2007, -2/+22***** Bill O'Reilly.
- card51short, on 10/18/2007, -4/+24what the hell are you talking about? He is for the state deciding...do you know what that means?
THAT MEANS THE PEOPLE IN THE STATE VOTE ON IT.
If the people dont' want blowjobs then they vote on it...what is wrong with that?
WOW WHAT A FACIST...HE WANTS PEOPLE TO VOTE ON ISSUES!!! - SPThom, on 10/22/2007, -0/+20
(...tumbleweed passes by...) - MioTheGreat, on 10/18/2007, -0/+19You fail at understanding anything about politics if you think Ron Paul is socialist. He's on the completely opposite side of the spectrum.
- JerodSlay, on 10/18/2007, -6/+24Support Ron Paul on Facebook: http://apps.facebook.com/elections/
- toxicityj, on 11/08/2007, -1/+18apple, Linux, and Paris Hilton will once again rule Digg *shudder*
- card51short, on 10/18/2007, -2/+17i personally give a ***** what you like or not...its just hilarious you click on something that you dont' want to discuss and you discuss it.
You're pathetic. Leave. Go discuss the top 50 jockstraps worn by john madden - BigW, on 10/18/2007, -2/+17Why would RP need a chatroom? Digg _is_ the Ron Paul chatroom.
- tnoy, on 10/22/2007, -0/+15I find it hard to believe that people will actually take Colbert seriously in all of this.
- vertinox, on 10/17/2007, -3/+18Some states already outlaw blows jobs in the south.
You should more concerned that someone will use the Federal Government to outlaw blow jobs in every state.
The point is, that State rights give you a bit more freedom because its easier to move to another state that has legalized something and out of a state that has made it illegal than move to another country all together. - bobbilljoe, on 10/18/2007, -6/+20Go Ron Paul!
- AAjax, on 10/18/2007, -2/+16Sir, if you are so brainwashed to think that same sex marriage is the most pressing issue in our nation..... well there isnt much point talking to you
- BlackJackJester, on 10/22/2007, -0/+14So i assume you're a democrat...but, I bet he's the only candidate that can garner a comment like "what an intelligent guy" from the other party. Now, isn't that the kind of candidate you WANT to vote for, even if you aren't in his party. Calling him a republican is like comparing diamonds to charcoal.
- codehkr77, on 10/18/2007, -4/+17at least he is trying to do something for this country... what have you done besides posting comments on DIGG?
- toxicityj, on 10/24/2007, -3/+15do you like posting useless comments and making accusations with no backing to them? because I'm like 1/4 down the page in reading it and it seems like every other comment is you posting some ***** that no one wants to read.
- somespecial, on 10/18/2007, -5/+17Saying "O'Reilly won't let you give an answer" is not fresh material. =)
- fwedwic, on 10/22/2007, -0/+11that truly is the best part! i just don't understand that logic
- DiggsOnlyJew, on 10/18/2007, -2/+13It'd actually be Yareilly.
- wolfofwar, on 10/18/2007, -2/+13Hillary doesn't need any donations, since she's in the pocket of big pharmaceuticals.
- Thanehand, on 10/18/2007, -0/+10No offense, you are making your decision based on what appears to be a poor understanding of Mr. Paul's position.
He may be personally pro-life, but believes that the state governments (where YOU have more control over the decisions) should make the determination as to whether it is illegal or not and NOT the federal government.
And the Department of Education has been doing such a good job that we need it? Right. Again, his position is to remove FEDERAL control of education and put it in the hands of the states, where the community has more control over the decisions made.
Both of these make perfect sense because each community has different needs and beliefs. - azprofessional, on 10/18/2007, -2/+12a Candidate not wanting to go on a reactionary ***** show? Hmm what a freak!
- credence, on 10/22/2007, -1/+10If rudy wins, you'll find out by visiting digg.ca
- chrism123, on 10/18/2007, -4/+13worst investment ever
- Royal0rleans, on 10/17/2007, -4/+13Would you rather someone mindlessly support any other candidate?
It's a welcome change over the blind support thrown toward Bush in the past election. - daisele, on 10/18/2007, -0/+9That's because you think the department of education actually does something worth while with our money? And he is for abortion being a state issue (leave it up to the states). I don't see why it should be a federal issue.
- skipdog172, on 10/18/2007, -0/+9There are many digg articles I don't read and hate seeing on the front page all the time. Do I go into their comments and tell them I'm tired of hearing this stuff? No, and nor does anybody else. It would be more useful if you posted the reasons you dislike Ron Paul so we can have a healthy discussion. I am sure that would be too much to ask.
- pkonink, on 10/17/2007, -2/+10His personal views are rather conservative, but the difference is that he does not want to force them down people's throats. Giving states the right to, say, outlaw gay marriage would also give other states the right to legalize it.
It is your job as a citizen to fight tooth and nail in your state's legislature to promote your viewpoint. If you live in a place where your viewpoint simply will not pass, then you can move to a friendlier state. If the federal government is in control of your issue and you can not get it to pass, then where are you going to move? This also promotes innovation as down the road we can see clearly which policies are working and which are not in the various states. - FriskDown, on 10/17/2007, -4/+12How about a citing a reference? A mere link would make you sound less like a raving lunatic. Outlaw blowjobs? Give me a break!
- Sublime059, on 10/22/2007, -17/+25I'll never vote for him.. but god damn if he isn't a light in the dark dark dark conservative tunnel. What a intelligent guy.
- card51short, on 10/17/2007, -2/+10OK by your logic the federal government makes all the policies and decides on everything. How about a compromise and the federal government only makes policies ON THINGS THAT ARE FEDERAL and the state makes laws on STATE LAWS. Hows that for you?
- Hetman, on 10/18/2007, -0/+8He doesn't have a stance on abortion, federal death penalties, same-sex adoption, gay marriage, and gun control. Those are state issues and should be dealt with by the state. Finally I am totally against birthright citizenship. You should have to trace your American Lineage back at least a generation to be considered a citizen at birth.
- SPThom, on 10/17/2007, -0/+8Ninja, you do understand that the U.S. Constitution planned the government to function exactly as card51short is describing it? The feds are supposed to deal with issues too big for individual states to deal with, and/or issues that make more sense at a federal level--international trade, military, postal service, etc. The states are supposed to deal with most everything else.
If you want the federal government in charge of everything, then I guess you should wait for NTSB to come sweep your street and fix the potholes. Maybe the FBI should have a substation at the 7-11 in case anybody tries to rob it. And if we ever get our military back from Iraq, they could certainly hand out parking tickets. - emoat, on 10/22/2007, -1/+8They said the same thing about Reagan.
- SkuLLpHucT, on 10/18/2007, -3/+10The right for homosexuals to marry? As far as I can tell (and I could be wrong) NO candidate supports this. Are you just not going to vote at all?
- card51short, on 10/18/2007, -3/+10you won't be free then
