When the rocket goes off, the skateboard would have simply shot out from underneath him (like it did), and the kid would have ended up landing flat on his back. Second, there's the whole issue of the skateboard zipping around out of control with fire blazing out from it. Third, that skateboard could have easily burned somebody's house down.
If I was the neighbor I would have notified the police. There's no excuse for that kind of stupidity, especially if it puts my property (and the child's safety) needlessly at risk. - noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5We all wish your dad had done things like that to you when you were a kid. - Wireddd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I did this with 2 estes model rocket engines when I was a kid. I believe they were the "C" engines(though I don't really remember) , it actually doesn't push very hard when you are standing on it, you could get going faster without the rockets anyway.
