- Xageroth, on 10/12/2007, -9/+51whatever haters, that dad rocks. I sure as hell did dumber things as a kid and wasn't wearing protective gear.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25what a loving father.
- Academicballa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Dumbass kid, you should have stayed on!!
- kalleanka, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20"Don't let it go, don't let it go" *wrooom*
Good the kid was not stupid enough to listen to the dad. - S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Yeah he is such a rocket skate boarding poser.
- ksuburke, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13Ahh, Natural selection in action!
- ggfergu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Dude, you know you've thought about doing this yourself a million times when you were a kid. This kid is living the dream.
- noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8As cool as that looks he had better hope no one identifies him. I'm sure child services would like to have a word with him.
A kid doing stupid things is one thing.
Their parents helping them do stupid things is worse (no matter how much protective gear he made him wear)
Video taping it? Please. - noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Yeah, but you were a kid. Had you aksed your parents before you did the ***** they'd probably have kept your ass home. This is a grown man putting his kid on a skateboard with arocket motor strapped to it.
- S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5When the rockets are attached to the person !!!
- MonkeyFarts, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Yeah this man is an idiot. For starters, there is absolutely no way that the kid was going to stay on the skateboard. When the rocket goes off, the skateboard would have simply shot out from underneath him (like it did), and the kid would have ended up landing flat on his back. Second, there's the whole issue of the skateboard zipping around out of control with fire blazing out from it. Third, that skateboard could have easily burned somebody's house down.
If I was the neighbor I would have notified the police. There's no excuse for that kind of stupidity, especially if it puts my property (and the child's safety) needlessly at risk. - noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5We all wish your dad had done things like that to you when you were a kid. Got to get that gene-pool clean somehow.
- LexisNexis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5That didn't look dangerous at all, he would have been going like 3mph tops if he had sat on it or stayed on. The people who are upset over this need to chill out, I can't believe you guys are serious.
- digitalsin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Please sterilize the father. What a stupid *****. The kid could have easily caught on fire or gone out of control with the skateboard and gone headfirst into an oncoming car.
Stupid. Dumb. *****. - Depthfunction, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8If I were that man's neighbor, I would have gone outside and punched him in the face. That's a ***** fire hazard.
- ringo380, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think the weight of the kid would've slowed the skateboard down quite a bit, though had he actually tried to stay on a little harder, I still doubt he would've lasted more than a few feet.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2that worked as well as I expected
- inarguable, on 10/12/2007, -11/+12*****, you losers yelling at the father are pathetic. Going sledding in the winter, or riding a bike down a hill, are just as dangerous. The dad had the boy kitted out in a ton of protective gear, so shut the hell up. I wish my old man had of done stuff like that with me when i was little.
- uptown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice ... Almost took out his kid, and their dog with one rocket!
- Wireddd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I did this with 2 estes model rocket engines when I was a kid. I believe they were the "C" engines(though I don't really remember) , it actually doesn't push very hard when you are standing on it, you could get going faster without the rockets anyway.
- Midas7g, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sounds like we need a redo of this. I wanna see if it actually works. Might make getting across 10th street that much more fun. :)
- Brickhaus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wish my Dad built rocket powered ***** for me when I was a kid.
- 42nnn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is the coolest, I wonder what would of happened if it actually worked
- whiskeymb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Kids?! Look who lit the damn thing! at least he was smart enough to get his kid in protective gear first!
- S1ngular1ty1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If the kid had stayed on the board it wouldn't have went as fast. How do I know? F=ma. If you increase the mass of the board you get less acceleration since the thrust of the rocket is constant.
- noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3From the looks of things the kid would hae broke his neck when the skateboard hit the curb and he went flying.
- isubeatle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2i love how at the end he's telling them to stay away from it, yet he was ok with letting his kid RIDE IT!
- deacont23, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I keep seeing these videos with rockets attached to random things.... but when are we going to see a video where the person actually stays on whatever the rockets are attached to?
- digitalsin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3if you can't tell the difference between riding a bike and attaching a rocket to the back of your little kid's skateboard in the middle of the street then you're as dumb of a ***** as the father
- aroundtown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1First of all, get a kid that doesn't push mongo. Second, get your neighbours kid to do it!
- thruandthru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Kids these days gets so bored, they tend to do dumb things like this."
From the looks of it, it seems like it was the father's idea, not the kid's. It seemed as though the father cared more about it working than the kid. - Wedge1212, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2too bad he's lacking 1 key item. A Fire Suit!
- diggid3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0must be a dad hoping to gain a buck on 'funniest home videos' ...
- berfmurret, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2the kid was wearing a fire retardant suit and a helmet. looks like they're in a pretty secluded neighborhood. the parked cars pose more of a danger to the kid than the possibility of a car with someone in it doing 20mph...
- skylerf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1wtf is with these people. They should try a moon launch from their backyard next time...
- jennyluca, on 03/09/2009, -0/+0You should better check ou these cool http://www.kids-dynamite.de Babyshoes!
- pimpsallad, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2my god, the kid had full protective gear on, he wasn't going to get hurt.
- inarguable, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5and you would be a real hero for doing it to...you Sir, are a patriot!
- digitalsin, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1"I sure as hell did dumber things as a kid and wasn't wearing protective gear"
You obviously took a few too many hits to the head as a result - mwdcodeninja, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6The father should be shot.
- 4DFX, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1But will it blend?
