So What. - djcham, on 10/12/2007, -0/+38if only my dog could do that
- SimpleBinary, on 10/12/2007, -0/+36I'm surprised they even hit the jump at that speed
- OneAndOnlySnob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31Marked as inaccurate! The RC Car jumped a garage, not a house!!!
JUST KIDDING OK CALM DOWN. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+33Whatever dude, it's new to some of us.
- GravyTrain6, on 10/12/2007, -4/+316)....
7) Profit - nodong, on 10/12/2007, -4/+31Don't let Hezbollah see that. They'll strap bombs on the back and send those things flying into Haifa!
- GiJoeBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26Never seen it before. Guess I'm not a l337 surfer like you. I thought it was great.
- oddmanout, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22i had an old crappy one, i could never do that...damn you tyco
- dj_sea2005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17GTA style
- TomP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Thats a fast RC car
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Naw, it's not an RC10T. It's a 1/8 scale 4wd .21 nitro buggy, RC10Ts were only made electric in 2001, and they're 1/10th... the wing says 'Kyosho', you can see it as the car is driving by after the land, and their flagship 1/8 scale nitro buggy was the MP-5 back then. Expensive car, but apparently the dude driving it was a pro so I doubt he much cared.
- diktator279, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I'm taking my ball and going home!!!
- aeiou, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I'm sorry, but its not gasoline at all. It is nitro powered.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -1/+138) Wait for animal activists to barge in arresting you and taking you hostage at gunpoint while the dog is worshipped a the chosen one.
- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13I believe your comment, an inflamatory one at that... warrants a block
Have fun - dmoney06, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11haha, the driver is so happy!
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Wow man I used to drive those gas R/C cars. Nothing like that, though -- that's an expensive ass car to be launching over a house, for sure.
- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Hmm, Id have to look into a diesel the way these gas prices are going...
- JOJOFACE, on 10/12/2007, -2/+109) Use profit to pay off Animal Activists?
- mt066, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yeah I remember seeing this guy before....the sound it makes when it launches off the ramp is funny.
Any info on what kind of RC car this is? I've always wanted to know. All the ones I had when I was a kid could barely make it over a shoebox. - hotrod1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Nitro and gas are the same thing in RC :)
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Google 'Josh Cyrul', it was no biggie for the dude.
http://www.google.com/search?hs=kbT&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=josh+cyrul&btnG=Search - jus1haz2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5THat was badass!! Im suprised they could hit the jump. I would have ended up hiting the edge of it or somthing and fliping the car into the house
- steelphantom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm not sure exactly what kind of car was in the video, but it was definitely a nitro powered buggy. Traxxas makes one similar called the Jato. It's ridiculously fast, and can go over 65 mph stock! Check it out: http://traxxas.com/products/nitro/jato33/trx_jato_intro.htm
- Sferrero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The guy has some seriously good handling skills to hit that jump at that speed.
- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Awesome! The fact that it still worked afterwards is even better.
- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well he is a professional Rc Car Racer
Lookup Josh Cyrull - spartan002117, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You guys can't count out electric the fastest RC boat in the world (I think it still is the fastest) is electric here's a video. But remember this ain't a Tycho. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3195612037547967327&q=rc+boat&hl=en
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a 1/8 scale 4wd .21cu nitro buggy. Kyosho makes some nice ones, their MP-5 series were the big ones in 2K1, but no telling the actual make of this from the video. I'd put my money on a Kyosho, though, or maybe an OFNA.
- Namco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4YEEEE HHAAAAAAWWWWW.
Dang them Duke boys! - LucasVB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Damn, that's an awesome RC car
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I am really surprised ! This RC Car looks really powerful, I wish I had the same !
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yes, it is gas powered. I've seen gas powered rc car races in parking lots before.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I have a Losi XXX-NT and I agree that it's a 1/8th buggy of some sort. Def not a Losi at least. Losi is similiar to Rc/10 and it's def not that either.
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't want to get in to this, and I might be wrong, but I don't think the 7.5 was out in 2001. Regardless, your prices are correct.
- pexor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Naw, scratch that last post, it says Kyosho on the wing as the car is running by after the land. So it's definitely an MP-5. $500 stock with no engine or radio. Over a house.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He may have been with Team Losi, but that is still a 1/8th 4wd kyosho buggy in the video... The NT line has always been a 2wd "stadium truck" model, the body style is definately not a truck...
- pseudojd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Rc10/t? anybody know?
- damonlab, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Video was cool. I'm surprised nobody made any comments about the girl about one minute in.
- pkkid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I launched mine down 6 stairs and it snapped in half. Stupid cheap version.. :)
- lolage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why didnt it jump the damn HOUSE. ***** the garage. I want more.
- dunnar, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1Very nice! What's the next thing to jump? http://www.gasrccars.org
- umdigger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1*****, I used to have a "Fast Tracks" RC car. Only electric, but I could launch that thing off my porch and it would be fine and it was damn fast for a battery.
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Cool video
- terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The shocks on my nitro T-Maxx cost more than the ones on my real car, I have jumped it quite high but have yet to go over a house.
- darkmotion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow that was a quick car
- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Yes, but Gas in the RC world, is not the same as Gasoline.
And if you think Gas for your car is expensive.. Nitro runs about $10 a gallon or more if its a higher concentration -
