The priest was out of line, for sure, but when you're skating on someone else's property, especially if you're grinding, people rarely react pleasantly. That's to be expected, and most skaters know, whether they admit it or not, that they're not supposed to be skating in a certain area.

I just skated because it was fun; didn't buy into all the clothing and the attitude and all that *****. It's sad skateboarding got raped by money making brands , just like surfing is becoming now. People are missing the point. Nowadays people try to carry on an image so they can get the respect of their equally moronic 'friends'.
These kids were just asking for it. Bringing a video tape and everything, I bet you they planned the whole thing so they could put it up on the internet. In many countries he could have gotten away with shooting the kids, tresspassing is a felony, and if the guy felt endangered, he has a right to defend himself on his own property. If they weren't leaving, i would consider that being endagdered.
