- grantmoore3d, on 04/27/2009, -0/+674"People have kids that they trying to feed with the special and you mean to tell me that we can't feed our kids!?"

"we been looking forward to this date" hahahah - makkaveli19, on 04/28/2009, -5/+395i hate it when people feel like they are entitled to something. The woman is saying that "we can't feed our children" and how it's just wrong as if popeyes owes her children food.
- dwats32, on 04/29/2009, -5/+337I liked the part where the black people wanted chicken
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -4/+309Popeye's doesn't care about black people.
- insomniacal, on 04/29/2009, -6/+292April 23 is the new September 11.
- daxter241, on 04/29/2009, -6/+287why was everyone who drove up to that popeyes black and angry? oh wait......
.....god dammit, im black and i have no choice but to hang my head low at this..... - inactive, on 04/27/2009, -1/+255I'm sure there's something else funny or ironic about this clip that neither the title, the summary, or the reporters in the video are pointing out, I just can't seem to put my finger on it...
- chussy, on 04/29/2009, -1/+239That couldn't be more stereotypical.
- massrox, on 04/29/2009, -2/+207Big Fat Dude Alone in Truck: "I was trying to feed my family tonight..."
Of course you were tubby. - Dpack1, on 04/29/2009, -3/+1954chan is gonna have a field day with this.
- sedawk, on 04/29/2009, -5/+191Question: Do Caucasian people ever go to Popeyes?
- inactive, on 04/25/2009, -2/+181That was good.
It's funny the one lady drove all the way from Penfield to Lake Avenue (a good 20 minutes away) only to be disappointed a second time. There's a KFC right across the creek from the Penfield location. - inactive, on 04/26/2009, -2/+147In other related news, KFC profits rose 50% in Rochester NY that day.
Also, this video reminds me of that one Dave Chapelle skit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJ4B7G8Rw3Q - chanop, on 04/29/2009, -0/+144Popeyes chicken was an inside job
- ryanhayn, on 04/29/2009, -4/+146Yes, but they're too afraid to enter.
- slippeh, on 04/29/2009, -4/+128It'd be funny if they interviewed one white person and (s)he was like.. "Well I am quite disappointed in Popeye's for not having the foresight to stock up, but I understand that with the increased volume due to the sale they ran out. I'll just go home and cook now"
- AmnesiacJack, on 04/29/2009, -4/+117God I was waiting for the combo breaker to drive up but it never happened. Flawless victory.
- bysin, on 04/29/2009, -2/+98I hate it when people feel like society owes them something. Like they are owed the availability of food. They don't understand how good they got it, god forbid a popeyes closes.
- td4guy, on 04/29/2009, -2/+974/23 nevar forget
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -1/+90In related news, local Caucasians couldn't give a *****.
- AeroZeppelin, on 04/29/2009, -2/+89Another one in Minneapolis, even funnier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eiG5FCYJ8k&fea ...
- viol999, on 04/29/2009, -1/+87To the credit of the disappointed patrons no one called 911.
- ITNick, on 04/27/2009, -0/+84But no one was listening
- blatant3, on 04/29/2009, -2/+84I definitely noticed a pattern there o.0
- Finsternis, on 04/29/2009, -2/+84Maybe they just interviewed the people who showed up.
- algaeturd, on 04/29/2009, -0/+76I think that's the most ***** up quote in the video.
Christmas morning for chicken fans? Thankschicken?
They've turned it into a bloody national holiday all for saving a few bucks.
Here's an idea...use $4.50 worth of coupons at your next grocery store trip and you've got the price down to the 'special' on your next bucket of chicken.
Or skip one pack of cigarettes. Or 2 gallons of gas. etc, etc, etc.
People don't really understand the concept of dispersion, do they? - amauldin71, on 04/29/2009, -0/+70Everyone is entitled to life, liberty, and the side order of their choice.
- wizzroom, on 04/29/2009, -9/+76I like how they make it sound as if there is absolutely no other place to get food and all these people are going to be forced to starve for the day. Love the local news.
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -3/+68Oh, is that how it would go:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7WsZZzDUHc - borez, on 04/29/2009, -2/+66That is actually quite sad.
- bertbarndoor, on 04/29/2009, -1/+65Fat Guy in Minivan @1:47 mark: "I'm never coming back now, I'm serious--I'm done." Ummmm, sure. We believe you.
- sexybobo, on 04/29/2009, -0/+62wasted 20 minutes of her time to save $5
- rolf, on 04/29/2009, -1/+61My uncle gladly drives 10 miles to save $0.05 a gallon on gas>.> (His van gets 12mpg, so he burns way more than he saves getting there and back).
- cheesylobster, on 04/29/2009, -3/+61WHISTLE GO WHOO WHOO
- DP84, on 04/29/2009, -5/+61LEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY
- Memitim, on 04/29/2009, -0/+55No doubt. A whole chicken costs $1.29 a pound (99 cents on sale) and is stupid easy to cook.
- LeviTheSmith, on 04/29/2009, -6/+60All the people they showed us had a skin colour that is different to the majority.
- ZincSaucier, on 04/29/2009, -0/+46yes. you need to go try the biscuits. it seems as if they managed to somehow build a solid bread like object entirely out of salt and butter
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -13/+54way to go to feed the stereotype folks, way to go.
I remember McDonald's running a 2-for-1 deal on Big Macs years ago in the UK, and guess what - yeah, they ran out of Big Macs. When you run a promo offering food for massive savings, you're going to run out of that ***** pretty quickly.
fat entitled *****, learn to cook. - jba68, on 04/29/2009, -2/+38I do.... I luvs me some Popeye's
- realeiger, on 04/29/2009, -5/+40Yeah, it's not like whites can't be insanely unreasonable in retail situations as well. Hell, one of the great cultural "unifiers" of modern american culture is a sense of entitlement in retail situations.
- xXSheepyXx, on 04/29/2009, -0/+35At least I got chicken
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -1/+36I like the guys who couldn't hang up the phone to give a damn interview.
- webgeek2point0, on 04/29/2009, -1/+36These were probably the same people who trampled a woman to death last Christmas at WalMart. I believe it happened in roughly the same area. And all just to save a few bucks.
