I mean WTF, I was sick as a dog and barfing is an involuntary thing. Barfing all over the place really turns a crowd of people against a guy...

Nope the one time some cops had a chance to help get the person who pulled a hit and run on me, two showed up at my house on Thanksgiving and told me that the damage to the other (rich) person's car could not have been caused by hitting me and that they (the rich person) was afraid that I would harass them. They told me that if there were any reports of such things, they would come haul me in. Yup hope you never need the cops, unless you happen to own one or two of them.

The police are not there to help you. the police are to ensure order over the general public, not the jcrew77 public.
On the number of ride-alongs I've been on I can say that they do quite a bit in a shift. I've witnessed robbery responses, domestic dispute break ups, arresting of pedos, dissolution of meth labs. And this is just in the graveyard shift. - petitveritas, on 07/11/2009, -1/+2I'm an idiot, you cop!

- AeroGuy, on 07/11/2009, -2/+2The problem is that people don't know that they're gonna get sick on a ride until it happens. They can't exactly stop a ride in the middle just to avoid throwing up. Maybe if it had happened to the person before you can fault them for not learning their lesson, but we all gotta have a first motion sickness experience before we have a clue we have a problem. I seem to be able to eat whatever I want and ride whatever I want, but I had a friend vomit on a roller coaster and he had no idea it was coming. It made for an amusing photo from the little in-ride camera thinger, though. Luckily we were in the last car.
