- clarencepaul, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2I do firmly believe our area has grown exponentially because people have had so much tragedy in other areas of the nation, we have about one million population in the Charlotte metro area, drive thru many parts of our fair city and you
will see million plus homes going up everywhere, even toward the lakes up I-77, hardly anybody is from here, it is the bible belt with over seven hundred churches in Charlotte alone, a great place to live and raise a family, when I go on vacation, I am always glad to get back home, no matter where I go. God bless you Joseph and your family and I pray and wish a speedy recovery for you, I might add also, Charlotte is the home of Billy Graham and his nephew Mel goes
to the same church I go to[centralchurchofgod.org] Mel's father's funeral was held there a while back, we are a diverse church and always have been, we are extremely blessed for it.
