Do something you enjoy (like selling on eBay, not drinking beer) and see if you can make money doing it. If you can, that may be what you should do besides your day job so you have something to fall back on when the pink slip comes.
- bjn7671, on 03/25/2008, -1/+0so i see that none of us who have posted comments believe the hype! this is all crap brought on by the media and the wrong sided government! Yes - stuff is more expensive - stuff - what about getting rid of the stuff? what about the people who didn't run up there credit cards? what about the people who planned for this? what about the people who are smart?
This is all one big pathetic wha wha story that makes my butt pucker!!! This people were just dumb!
Boo f n Hoo! Cut the crap - cut the credit cards - cut the fat!!!! - sunshineg, on 03/22/2008, -1/+0Ron is a LOSER. Geez....I wonder where his son get's it from..."it wasn't his fault...."
Knowingly racks up $35,000 with the sole intention of walking. Most likely spent on top end surfing gear.
Pathetic story. Stay at the beach you bum. - MdRCA, on 03/21/2008, -1/+0Ron MacQuarrie: $35,000 in debt story--is this guy for real? Knowingly racks up $35k in debt and then walks away. And he thinks that's OK? Wow, Ron, here's a novel concept: TRY LIVING WITHIN YOUR MEANS. I can't stand losers like this--never accepting responsibility for his own actions. The downturn in the market didn't rack up the $35k in debt, YOU did.
- RobertCGray, on 03/19/2008, -1/+0Sorry. Not a lot of empathy. In the late 1970's-early 80's led me to a diesel VW rabbit. 50 MPG was standard. The current VW diesel Golfs do the same. And where is ride-sharing? 99% of us are still commuting alone. Get real.
