Mothers in Debt After Nude Fundraising Calendar Sold Poorly

aol.com.au — "Seven middle-aged Spanish mothers who posed for a tongue-in-cheek nude calendar - a fundraiser for their children's tiny, rural school - are now saddled with debt and 5,000 unwanted copies." When I read this, I actually went "awwww" & felt sorry for them. They were trying to emulate a group of British women who made more than 1 million pounds in..

Likewise, the poses are creepy/trashy and the women all appear pained. The English version was significantly better: the photographs were beautiful, the composition tasteful and some of the grannies had really lovely figures, too, (but not all). Instead of obvious cover-ups (like red umbrellas), there were strategically placed pianos, flower arrangements, etc. The women in the English version were posed in reasonable ways, not in bizarre scenarios like the woman with the rifle and furs, or the two women on the park bench (what ARE they supposed to be doing, anyway? This gives new and perplexing meaning to "riding bareback"). It's a shame their efforts were so shoddy, but they should have done a little bit more research before investing that much money.

      1.) They were NOT trying to support families. They were trying to raise money to educate the children in the village.
      2.) They are not in Africa. (Afrozilla)
      3.) These women live in Spain - why do you allude to them as being illegal immigrants?

      I think this is one case where Diggers can help out people in trouble. Often there are articles posted here where Diggers say, "We should unite and stop this injustice." As Digg readers we usually have little power, except to click a button. These mothers were trying to raise $$. Bad business resulted in their debt. You can blame it on the lack of attractiveness, marketing, or the timing of the sale...

      I for one, would donate to their cause. I am willing to send $100...if I only knew where to send it. (and NO I am not going to send it to you.)

      One comment way at the bottom of this page suggested: "If anybody can speak Spanish and is able to search for the town, get an address for the city hall that'd be awesome. I'd love to donate to their school, but there is no info in the article.
      I'm a teacher and might be moving to Spain in 2009. Good schools are important :)"

      So I suggest that you put your money where your mouth is. Give a few bucks to this cause - or - do some research to find out where the town is so others can send money. Add this story to your blog. Instead of dishing the moms - do something positive, instead of this negative cr*p about how they aren't models.

      If we can Rick Roll a baseball stadium we should be able to help out a small school!

I say that instead of cash, we send them some professionals to help them properly realize their original plan for 2009. After all, they were clearly trying to do something active to help themselves. I can respect that.

Every relationship is a business relationship and you have to lie, cheat & steal, screw people, stab them in the back, constantly be in "sales" mode, all the way to the top. You can, in this way, be quite successful.

            If you /really/ want your life to be like that in persuit of getting rich, you can do it. Typically people are less antisocial than that so they can't out-screw the people that aren't and get overtaken in the competition game

I took the original source file and enhanced it with a High Definition filtering tool, this tool detects the pixels of a image and using inverse extrapolation of the intersecting vectors determines the exact coordinates of each bit factor. This allows me to make a small not only higher quality (1080p at the very least) it also makes image editing easy. If you know what you are doing.
