- travdiggsit, on 11/13/2009, -2/+30Bank robbery for $5,000 will get you 15-20 years jail time
A banker can steal millions from the public and get no jail time - scarlettletter, on 11/13/2009, -0/+25Soccer ball... check.... shot gun... check!
- TheKriket, on 11/13/2009, -0/+24She should've just sold weed to the rest of the soccer moms.
- mebethekoko, on 11/13/2009, -0/+24She gets my vote for Mother of the Year.
- ConfusedCartman, on 11/13/2009, -0/+13Sounds like another ***** movie plot.
- dlan4327, on 11/13/2009, -2/+14Quite pretty and she robs banks. Why can't I land a girl like that?
Edit: Why can't I land a girl? : (
/Tears - Denex, on 11/13/2009, -0/+11did they really see fit to put her Facebook up there?
needless to say, i will be sending her a friend request. - Myztry, on 11/13/2009, -0/+11If you need to rob multiple banks - then you're not doing it right...
- Barackalypse, on 11/13/2009, -0/+10According to the FBI the average amount taken in a bank robbery is $5,000, which makes sense, your average bank cashier isn't going to have more than a thousand dollars in their drawer at any point in time, and most robbers can't stick around long enough to get to the vault where the real money is. In general you're going to be better off robbing an ATM machine.

- numberneal, on 11/13/2009, -1/+9that's 1 too many

- Barackalypse, on 11/13/2009, -2/+8Costco cashiers make a minimum of $11.50 an hour, and generally within 5 years are making $20 an hour. If she and her husband can't feed 5 kids on that income and whatever he makes without robbing banks, they're doing something wrong. Its disgusting that a Mother of all people would subject another human being to the panic and fear of an armed robbery.

- Barackalypse, on 11/13/2009, -1/+7Call me cynical, but I think she was probably bored out of her mind with a husband she hasn't loved in years and 5 kids who don't appreciate her and instead of having an affair, she decided to stop being the good girl and started robbing banks, knowing at worst if she got caught everyone would just assume she was doing it to provide for her kids. I suspect she was using the money to buy cocaine.
- johndavidjack, on 11/13/2009, -1/+7Dugg for truth, it's not like the old West where there are stage coaches full of gold.
The only people that get away with robbing people blind are politicians and insider traders anymore. - johndavidjack, on 11/13/2009, -1/+7I steal it from college one ice cream sandwich at a time.
- fxu1989, on 11/13/2009, -1/+6They have money reserved for bank robbers. That's why they ask that the employees don't try to be heroes. Just give him the money and let him go.
- paulvq, on 11/13/2009, -1/+6People rob banks because they aren't supposed to resist. They have insurance for whatever gets stolen.
- Agorist, on 11/13/2009, -2/+7Just trying to get some of that $700 billion back.
- kaosethema, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5...and she's cute.
- futurepastnow, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5People are so stupid. Robbing a bank automatically gets the Feds involved and mandates long prison terms.
Knock over gas stations, people. - Myztry, on 11/13/2009, -0/+3If $5,000 can't get someone away from desperation then they're better of turning themselves in after the first robbery where the courts will give them some real low cost living...
- Burrito, on 11/13/2009, -1/+4Most robbers are armed. The jail time isn't for the money, it's for threatening the lives of other people.
- Hiprocksoul, on 11/13/2009, -0/+3It's a sense of entitlement. I'd have more sympathy if she was stealing food, but she's stealing to maintain a certain lifestyle.
Learn from the early rednecks(those post "indentured servants") that ran to the hills when the US government banned white slavery(I mean indentured servitude).. Relying on society and government only leads to projects, liquor stores and welfare... Just look at any inner-city! You can't farm a sidewalk or harvest a city block. Forget the city and give the government the middle finger. Move to the hills, become a "hill billy" and subsidize. - mmurdock77, on 11/13/2009, -1/+4Why is the media so quick to justify crimes commited by women?
I'll bet you a coke that if a man did this crime they wouldn't add the weepy backstory.
Men = savages and criminals that only commit crimes because of selfish, drug induced reasons.
Women = product of society, men drove them to this/did it to support her children. - johndavidjack, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3A good job is probably a better way to start for people...
- CrispixKingdom, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3I understand that parts of this are funny, and I have no problem with laughing at it. But consider for a moment how sad this situation really is. It's pure desperation.
- mmurdock77, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2Julia, just because you have an epic penis envy doesn't mean you have to be the internet white knight of men bashing. I'm sorry that your boyfriend left you for a much skinnier, healthier woman, but there's no need to hold onto that anger.
These are some of your greatest hits:
1. Anyone who says men aren't objects is in denial. Money. Sex. Grunt work.
2. Why don't you go have your sexism removed surgically? *****
3. What a ***** article. If any boy I was dating tried to cum on my face, he'd be OUT THE ***** DOOR. Buried. Buried. Buried - eleece722, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2What a bad-ass chick, haha
- iamdan1, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2I tried robbing an ATM, but even though I was holding a gun to its screen it still wouldn't give up the money.
- yacks, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3her husband was probably making money, but got laid off... and she still wanted to live her fancy money lifestyle.
- johndavidjack, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3Smoking up in a minivan feels dirty..........and awesome at the same time.
- NightcrawlerX, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1Kids... Check!
- theword12, on 11/13/2009, -1/+2The top comment is worthy of a digg submission itself.
- Myztry, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1People have robbed ATM's before. Though they tend to rip them out of the wall and take them somewhere to open.
- stagl, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1Already had like 3 fantasies of her taking me hostage!!!
- CaviMike, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1I'd hit it.
- freescv, on 11/13/2009, -0/+0I logged in to comment on this. Just sick that those large scammers don't do any time. If anything this proves the American drive to not starve and die. Good on her!
- doctressjulia, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1You mean, a woman?
- R3publican, on 11/13/2009, -1/+1MILTHRM (of my virginity)
- freescv, on 11/13/2009, -0/+0Lost all our good jobs b/c someone makes a bucks selling out their fellow man over seas. Over seas employers pay substandard wages to bring in work that's profitable enough to export.
Shame we can't all have 30 bucks/hour wages and medical/dental. Don't wanna say communist living beats free enterprise but perhaps a communist safety net.
All in favour of "200 for passing GO" to every citizen, every month, say "I"
:D - o1hc, on 11/13/2009, -2/+1more people need to start doing this.
***** the banks! - doctressjulia, on 11/13/2009, -3/+1Ooh, a whole 'coke'?
Shut the ***** up.
Whiner.
