- Nephersir7, on 10/22/2009, -0/+208At that point, why isn't that woman charged with trespassing and voyeurism?
- bemenaker, on 10/22/2009, -1/+146WTF He's inside his own house. If you don't like what you see, DON'T LOOK IN THE FUHQING WINDOWS!!!
- johnomaz, on 10/22/2009, -1/+121ARE YOU ***** KIDDING ME!!! Seriously, this is by far the stupidest waste of time ever. I walk in my house naked and if a neighbor was to see me, i'd shack my ***** at them and tell them to quit looking my windows.
- Nallohki, on 10/22/2009, -1/+94There are 3 complete asshats in this story:
1) The woman. You may not like it, but while the law may be on your side, you are not entitled to look into other people's property, see someone at their vulnerable moments, and then notify him to police because you don't like what you saw.
2) The police. He "wanted" to be seen. Based on what, exactly?
3) The prosecutor. It's his job, but seriously, he's part of a system that says that everyone must be prosecuted to the fullest extent in spite of common sense or mercy.
Granted:
1) The "facts" are light in this case. There could be other evidence that the news did not report.
2) Yeah, the guy should have been more careful being naked around windows, but given the fact that it was 5:30 AM, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt. - anarcurt, on 10/22/2009, -0/+87Whats the big deal about nudity anyway? How can you be arrested for wearing what you were born with, especially in your own home?
- cheapcheat, on 10/22/2009, -1/+75United States has gone overboard with sex laws. I know someone that got drunk and decided to take a piss in a bush in an empty street late at night. Someone saw him peeing (didn't see any private parts) and called the cops. Now hes in danger of being put on the sex registry. Even if they did see his penis its not enough enough to get grouped with rapists, child molester, etc. Should we be humiliating "sex offenders" at all? We don't have a registry for murders, burglars, launders. The fact that we get so touchy when it involves sex shows the lack of maturity we have. It's been said that we are a "pure" society getting our roots from the puritans. It's evident in the movie industry where if there is any nipples shown it gets slapped a R rating and most violence is okay for PG-13 movies. It's the opposite for Canadian and European countries. Nudity is not considered sexual. I think national and state legislator needs to grow up and question these laws. Also, humiliating criminals is not the right step to making them part of the society. Let me leave you with a few links about this topic.

http://www.economist.com/displaystory.cfm?story_id ...
Quoted from the economist:
"Sex-offender registries are popular. Rape and child molestation are terrible crimes that can traumatise their victims for life. All parents want to protect their children from sexual predators, so politicians can nearly always win votes by promising curbs on them. Those who object can be called soft on child-molesters, a label most politicians would rather avoid. This creates a ratchet effect. Every lawmaker who wants to sound tough on sex offenders has to propose a law tougher than the one enacted by the last politician who wanted to sound tough on sex offenders." - ZincSaucier, on 10/21/2009, -1/+70glad the cops don't come over my house and tell me what i want
- Carver520, on 10/22/2009, -0/+63If a man can't wag his dong around while making some coffee, then what the hell is all this for, really?
- dmoffitt, on 10/22/2009, -0/+56"Police wouldn't release the incident report or the name of the mother who filed the complaint ... just happens to be the wife of a Fairfax County Police officer."
There's a big shock /sarcasm - scarlettletter, on 10/21/2009, -0/+50Hot liquids while naked, give him a break... that sounds dangerous as it is!
- AFHCO, on 10/22/2009, -0/+46Ok, sooooo a lady looks into a mans window and see's that he's naked...and she calls the police because she thinks he wants other people to see him naked. WOW I forgot the fact that random people know what we all want...
- thavi, on 10/22/2009, -0/+45I read on some other site earlier today that the woman and her daughter that "caught him" were essentially trespassing on his lawn and would not have seen him otherwise. at 5 ***** 30 in the morning no less.
- peterjmag, on 10/22/2009, -1/+44He was in his own goddamn houseā½
- Perk, on 10/22/2009, -0/+42Seriously, I'd press charges against the bitch for being a peeping tom.
- mrcoderga, on 10/22/2009, -0/+42Time to pull out the big guns?
Jury nullification
http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/z ...
"The jury in effect nullifies a law that it believes is either immoral or wrongly applied to the defendant whose fate that are charged with deciding."
"... jury nullification provides an important mechanism for feedback. Jurors sometimes use nullification to send messages to prosecutors about misplaced enforcement priorities or what they see as harassing or abusive prosecutions." - mrcoderga, on 10/22/2009, -2/+44*woman*
- tmonsta1, on 10/22/2009, -0/+41I wonder if this man will have to register as a sex offender if convicted...
yes, that is how useful the sex offender registry is - mattluiz, on 10/22/2009, -0/+38If a man can't make coffee naked in his own house, where can he?
- digitalArtform, on 10/22/2009, -1/+37Anyone who is that disturbed by the sight of a nude body should be on some kind of watch list.
- DarkStar3333, on 10/22/2009, -0/+35That was my first question, why the ***** was the woman walking with her kid at 5:30am?
- mrcoderga, on 10/22/2009, -0/+33policeman's wife made the complaint
it's key - maddonkey, on 10/22/2009, -0/+32damn when i was 7 years old i was sleeping at that time
some should slap that peeping tom lady - xDynaBlade, on 10/22/2009, -0/+31That's *****. People have a right to privacy inside their own homes and who the hell wakes up at 5 in the morning and thinks that it would be amazing if everybody outside saw them naked as they make their morning coffee? It was clearly an accident, but that woman should be the one with charges brought against her for trespassing and voyeurism. And look at the ***** double standard, if that was a woman naked making coffee the only people getting arrested would have been the guys outside jacking off.
- Zetal, on 10/22/2009, -1/+32I'd shack my *****, too. Especially if they looked my windows.
- CloseYetFar, on 10/22/2009, -0/+30If it was the other way around and a woman was naked and a man spotted her through the window, the man would be a "Peeping Tom" and arrested. The cops would tell the woman there is nothing wrong with making coffee naked in front of the window, they would then step up patrol driving by the house every 5 minutes saying "Nicccceeee".
- LargeStack, on 10/22/2009, -0/+27Aw ....the old ***** Shack trick.
- Galaxylander, on 10/22/2009, -2/+29I think you accidentally a whole verb.
- datagod, on 10/22/2009, -0/+27In related news, the police force announced a new hiring policy: they will give preferential treatment to people with limited sight and intelligence
- neefnorb, on 10/22/2009, -0/+27in a free country.
- Iceman21, on 10/22/2009, -1/+27Your wrong, you can do whatever the ***** you want with your home and in your home, last time i checked being naked is not a crime, trespassing at 5:30 am and peering at a naked guy through his windows is.
- Gee1004, on 10/22/2009, -0/+25She cut through his property and looked in his windows. She doesn't have a ***** case. Stupid lady
- MacBookForMe, on 10/21/2009, -1/+26He really doesn't look pretty, but he would get rewarded in Holland for what he could get a jail in US...
- PandaBearShenyu, on 10/22/2009, -0/+24This is *****.
- BaddBrainz, on 10/21/2009, -0/+23I better start wearing clothes now when I make a cup of joe.
- mst3kcrow, on 10/22/2009, -1/+24A woman walking with a child at 5:30 am? I am going to have to call horse *****. $5 it was some uptight neighbor.
- digitalArtform, on 10/22/2009, -0/+23They are protecting the identity of the voyeur?
- shitdrummer, on 10/22/2009, -0/+22Earl? Where's Randy?
- rambomcfly, on 10/22/2009, -0/+19seriously. Had it been a man looking through the window, he would have been arrested for peeping. It doesn't help that he looks like a dirty hobo,.
- Gee1004, on 10/22/2009, -0/+18I am naked right now. Am I going to get arrested?
- cawpin, on 10/22/2009, -0/+17Yep. This is a ***** case. It should be dismissed and he should sue the police and the woman.
- Iceman21, on 10/22/2009, -1/+17So now you are not allowed to be naked in your own house incase someone sees you?
Let me ponder a question, if i don't like nude people, and i walk to a nudist beach and see nude people can i call the police because i think they want people to see them naked? - Westcoastrocks, on 10/22/2009, -0/+16I thought that you can do what ever the hell you want on private property. If you can't be naked in your house where can you?
- inactive, on 10/22/2009, -0/+15That makes sense. So, she's never seen a real man naked before and it shocked her how non-policemen have normal sized penises.
- tmonsta1, on 10/22/2009, -3/+18exactly Iceman
if it had been a naked woman inside, and a man walking at 5:30 am outside, which one do you think would be facing criminal charges???
this is ***** through and through
and to Amadeus... what, now you want the government telling you what kind of curtains you have to have, so as to "save the children"...
you're a republican aren't you? - k1n6, on 10/22/2009, -0/+15that wouldn't be a new policy, that would just be clarifying the existing
- earther, on 10/22/2009, -1/+16Because we must protect teh womenz!!!!!!

- burrdugg, on 10/22/2009, -1/+14The doctor is slapping newborns as punishment for being naked.
- HeavyWave, on 10/22/2009, -0/+13You put this man in jail, or no more sex!
- BrBybee, on 10/22/2009, -0/+13I doubt any of em are.
